Not like any other gym. This family run gym has a real personal touch. More than just a place to train when you add all the additional wellness treatments and knowledge from the staff.

I absolutely love the Workout Hub Burscough. It’s a lovely, family-run business that really stands out from any gym I’ve been to before.
You never have to wait for machines, which makes training so much easier and more enjoyable. The gym itself is always clean, well looked after, and there is always someone available if you need help or advice. Everybody there is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.
What really makes it special are the therapies on offer. The massage chairs are amazing, the Superhuman Protocol and Emzero treatments are fantastic, and the hyperbaric oxygen chamber is incredibly relaxing and refreshing. They also include plunge pool, l.e.d sauna, laser lipo, body roller and sunbeds in the pricing.
It’s also a very forward thinking gym, offering therapies that would cost so much more if purchased separately, and I don’t know of any other local gyms that offer anything like this. The price for the package is fantastic considering everything that’s included.
It’s very community-minded too, and they kindly donated passes as prizes for a local SEN children’s football team raffle, they even showed up to the event showing support in person, which really shows the heart of the business.
Even if you’ve had a break from going, the staff always welcome you back without any judgement, which really helps you feel at ease straight away.
All in all, it’s a completely different experience compared to a standard gym. They combine fitness, recovery, and wellbeing, and are always on hand to give fantastic advice. I always feel comfortable, relaxed, and never judged, as it’s full of people of all different shapes, sizes, and fitness levels. We are really lucky to have a gym like this in our community.
I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

The Workout Hub – A Brilliant Find

I’ve joined many gyms over the years, but The Workout Hub is genuinely one of the best. I’ve been dealing with chronic pain for a long time, and this is the first place that’s helped me make real progress. What sets it apart is the wellness support, all included in the membership, which is rare and a great value.

The equipment is top quality, the space is never overcrowded, and the atmosphere is welcoming — ideal when starting somewhere new. The owners are friendly, always available for advice, and are constantly improving the space and adding new kit.

It’s a proper gym focusing on quality, support, and progress, precisely what I needed.

If I could have given zero stars I would have. I arranged to purchase a Wattbike Nucleus that had been described as being in immaculate condition. When I went to collect it, there was obvious physical damage. i pointed this out to Peter who said he'd get some tools and fix it. He quickly then became frustrated and told me to take it or leave it. I said I'd leave it and he had the cheek to call me a timewaster despite the fact that I had driven around 100 miles to buy the exercise bike. I was actually the one who had my time wasted. This is NOT the way to do business!

Great atmosphere, staff are always there to help. Would recommend to anyone looking to start going to the GYM

Lovely family run gym that offers great classes and treatments. Always made to feel welcome, Jane & Pete are really knowledgeable about the treatments on offer.
It’s never crowded, spotlessly clean great selection of machines in the gym which are regularly updated so it never gets boring.

The workout hub is a family feel and run gym. The classes are great with ever changing equipment,and the treatments are outstanding. Jane and Pete are very knowledgeable and encouraging.It is a huge part of my life now and after 5 years I simply wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Only 2 weeks in and I’m hooked, this place is so much more than a gym.
Brilliant and knowledgeable staff, fully equipped with every piece of equipment you’ll need and then there’s the wellbeing side which is state of the art stuff.
The best thing I’ve ever done switching from a local gym to this place, made to feel very welcome.

I attend the Yogalates class run by Jane, and it's brilliant. She is friendly, welcoming and gives easy to follow instructions. It is uncompetitive but you always get a good workout, with a touch of fun as well. It is the perfect blend of yoga and pilates exercises and I can't recommend it highly enough. The new on line booking system is easy to use too.

Best gym I've been to, and I've been to a lot. What makes it for me is the 24-hour fob access, and a design that means the gym is always quiet, but welcoming with a great ambience.

The place never gets busy, and in fact, often feels like it's your own personal gym. You can hook up your phone to the excellent sound system, crank up the Rick Astley, and off you go!

The newly added wet room means a fantastic infra-red sauna, cold plunge (soon to be added) and a host of other treatments if you fancy.

In terms of the kit, it'd be easier for me to list the stuff it doesn't have, which is next to nothing! There is a machine or piece of equipment for every type of workout you could think of (compound lifting, aerobic etc) and there's constantly new stuff evolving. You can also jump into the outdoor area if you want to set up a little circuit for yourself, with lots of bootcamp-style kit.

Everyone is friendly - it's about as far away as you can get from the big commercial gyms, that often get packed.

Brilliant place to buy quality dumbells and other gym equipment from. Prices very competitive, couldn’t have got them cheaper online elsewhere.
When we went to pick them up Pete had them ready and was a very friendly knowledgeable guy who gave us several tips on how to improve workouts.
100% recommend.

Hidden gem in Burscough ✨
Lovely atmosphere never intimidating or pretentious.
New equipment constantly being added …. Everytime I go Pete has bought something new or is building something 😂
Circuit classes are fab and are frequently changed so they never become boring.
Jayne & Pete are always on hand to provide guidance if needed.

only have positive things to say about The Workout Hub! Jane and Pete always strive to make me and my brother feel comfortable and are always on hand to answer my (many,many) questions. The range of equipment makes the The Workout Hub accessible for people of all fitness levels and with different fitness goals.

The online booking system for the Sauna and Treatment rooms has become a god send! With working random shifts this helps me to know where I stand a keep a good routine.

I have already made such good progress in the year I have been there both fitness and confidence wise.

Thank you Workout Hub, I cannot wait to continue my health journey!

The knowledge and experience of the owners Pete and Jane is there for all to see ,they are always willing to give help and advice so good understand how your body reacts to exercise, they cater for all ages and abilities , the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, being part of this gym has most definitely improved both mine and my husbands physical and mental wellbeing.
