the socks were not that comfortable or long lasting and wore a hole in the heel very quikly.

I placed an order on 28-12-25 but have not received it yet.
I emailed the company to enquire when my order is going to be despatched but have not received any reply,which leaves me wondering what is going on with this company.
My experience demonstrates that this business is not focused on providing good customer service.
Maybe I will get my items before the cold weather ends but who knows?

I bought my first pair of Alpaca walking socks earlier this year and have fallen completely in love with them! I have now ordered a second pair for myself and one for everyone I can think of, for Christmas!!
I am old(er) and have much experience of buying all varieties of walking socks and I can honestly say that these are the best I have ever worn. My feet are immediately cosy and comfortable in the beautiful soft cushioned wool. However, they to not bulk up the walking boot at all. My feet are supported and yet feel completely healthy in these socks. You really don't have to wash them nearly as much as others!!. I just love that with this company, the Alpacas can have a good life and
I can, in partnership and with honour, enjoy the gift of their wonderful coats. Thank you Alpaca Shop.

PS The order to delivery process is extremely efficient. In both orders, I got them the next day.

I am a big fan of this company. The walking and boot socks they produce are my all-time favourites. They are so comfortable and warm, easy to wash, and last a long time. I like the fact the socks are made in the UK, and the customer service is so friendly.

Firstly, great selection of products and easy to use website. I bought some long alpaca socks, they arrived quickly. First thing I noticed was the quality, they are excellent. I usually wear woollen socks and these are my first pair of alpaca socks and what a difference to normal wool. They feel very light and keep your feet warm without sweating. I can assure you that they are the most comfortable socks I have ever owned. I will be wearing these instead of my walking socks or ski socks this winter for sure.

Ordered easily, delivered promptly. Amazingly soft and fluffy!!! Ordered as a memorial to my daughter's much loved guinea pig who we lost this year and she cried when she opened her present because she loved it that much. ❤️

The pillow is nice, but I can't say the same about the service. After wrongfully being charged with VAT, they said I was supposed to claim the VAT back before the package was shipped. Because the package was already shipped and because I live in the EU I was charged the VAT again by the local courrier. The Alpaca Shop refused to give back the VAT so I was charged double VAT.

If I could give 6 stars I would.
A while after purchasing my duvet, I realised it was the wrong size. Despite the huge delay in me reporting this to The Alpaca shop team, they went over and above the call of duty and kindly rectified the issue and got me the right size sent out. The customer service is excellent and I felt supported and helped by The Alpaca Shop. Emma is very professional and friendly and I would definitely buy from The Alpaca Shop again. Thanks team.
The actual duvets are amazing, I suffered for years with night sweats and since using The Alpaca shop’s alpaca duvet and pillows, I barely break a sweat, even during the summer. A+++

I was looking around for alpaca hats during the cold weather and wanted to support a UK business. Ones on Etsy were very expensive, then I came across The Alpaca Shop via a web search.
I bought the Alpaca Beanie Hat – ‘Plaits’ in silver grey (£28 + P&P). I ordered on a Saturday morning and it arrived, beautifully packaged, on the Monday or Tuesday morning.
I absolutely love my hat; it's exactly as shown on the web site and is very warm. Very soft; alpaca isn't an itchy wool like lambswool can be.
The shop doesn't come up a lot in web searches and didn't have any reviews, so I really wanted to add my feedback.
