Nothing is ever straight forward with me. However, Matt and the team really went out of their way to make sure everything was spot on with my new bike. The challenge of swapping my group set over wasn’t as easy as I’d thought. From the initial sizing appointment with Sean, right down to the final fit, everything was great. Clear communication with nothing hidden. A really great experience which I am truly thankful for!

Came to Matt for a bike fit (bike was purchased elsewhere). I had been experiencing some pain and numbness in my hands and feet. We needed some extra parts for the bike to help with the fit which required a second visit once the parts landed. I was only charged for the flat fitting fee, which is great. Since the fitting the issues I was experiencing have been alleviated to make riding much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend Matt. At no point did I feel uncomfortable particularly around the money side which scares me a little in the cycling world. The parts we needed were reasonably priced and so was Matt's time. I will be visiting Matt whenever I need a new bike or my for re-looking at. Thanks.

I was having some pain on the bike and Matt was recommended by a friend. I was a little skeptical as I've riden bikes for 50 years. After a short visit, relaxed conversation and some minor tweaks, I was asked to go ride and feedback for more tweaking. Non needed! I'm pain free, comfortable and riding stronger than ever. Matt is a master fitter and I would recommend everybody to pay a visit for a perfect set up.

Great Service, Customer Service and Knowledge - Kind, helpful and Friendly Staff

Very new to cycling , Matt was really helpful in suggesting a suitable bike, fitting it for me , explaining how it all worked , fitted cleats to my shoes, showed me how to take wheels off for traveling .Great service would highly recommend.

I bought a Cervelo Caledonia from the Bicycle Lounge in June 2026. The reason for purchase was simple. The service provided was exemplary from guiding me through various options and then bespoke fitting me to the bike chosen. Matt is highly knowledgeable and engaging but also a great communicator at all stages of purchase. I travelled 30+ miles to purchase my bike from the Bike Lounge and it was worth it. I can’t recommend highly enough.

I booked in for a bike fitting at the bicycle lounge as I was struggling to get any sort of speed out of my new road bike. The staff were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. After a short analysis, my measurements were taken and Matt advised me that the new frame was too small for me. With Matt’s advice I got the right size frame and he was also able to answer all questions & queries regarding the upgraded frame and gear set. He was also able to fit me in with a last minute bike fitting when the new frame arrived so I was able to race the following weekend. I would highly recommend the service Matt and his team deliver to everyone. Thanks again.

Got my dream bike in Feb 25 and love it. This is by far the best cycle shop and always a great place to visit. Had to take mine back due to a Di2 issue. Can't thank them enough, some places once they have your cash the service drops off but not here. Check, fixed, sorted. Thankyou Matt, Sean and Paul. I just need to get my friend sorted now, so we will be back.

Excellent customer service from Matt and Shaun, friendly, knowledge and got my Bianchi Specialissima at a great price. Even though it's over three hours drive each way, I would happily buy from them again. Highly recommended.

I am the very happy recipient of a Pinarello F5, and I cannot recommend The Bike Lounge in Ormskirk highly enough.
From the moment you walk through the door, the level of service is absolutely faultless. The team are friendly, welcoming, and their knowledge is second to none.
What really sets them apart is their approach to customers. They genuinely listen and take the time to understand exactly what you need. I had a budget, and this was fully respected with absolutely no pressure selling. Their focus is clearly on ensuring the rider is happy and confident with their choice, prioritising what’s right for you rather than what might maximise profit.
I was properly measured up, and stock was checked to ensure the correct size was available. When the bike arrived, I returned to the shop where Matt took the time to carry out a professional bike fit. I’ve also been invited back free of charge should any tweaks be needed to my setup, which really speaks to their ongoing commitment to customer care.
I wheeled the bike out of the shop feeling like the most important customer they’d ever had. It’s clear that customer service is their top priority, with bike sales a close second.

The guys at TBL are ‘top draw’, they are 5 stars in every way. I would have no hesitation recommending anyone to them for services , components or their bike range (which is also terrific!). Their customer service is excellent - they recently helped sort my many issues and the ones they couldn’t they had no hesitation pointing me in the right direction.
If you want to buy a bike , upgrade a part or get tuned up these are the guys to book time with.
