I started off not with the best experience as the broker i was dealing with ended up leaving, I expressed my disappointment to my new case manager, who put me in touch with the director of the company who made a massive effort to apologise and make things right, he stuck to his word on calling me back when we agreed and reviewed the details of the case, and it was just very clear that he genuinely cares about client experience, he went above and beyond what i would expect in the situation. I would recommend and will definitely use the BTLB again for my next remortgage.

Superb swift efficient service from Adam Kipling and Ashley Churcher at the Buy to Let Broker on mortgage product transfer with The Mortgage Works. They are my go to guys for all my buy to let mortgage needs.

Contacted Tom for a bridging loan a few weeks ago and he was the first broker I spoke to who explained the process/ fees etc in such an easy simple way to understand. He found me a great interest rate and from deciding to go ahead him and his colleague Ashley have made the process so quick and simple and have always answered any questions or queries iv had promptly in a friendly manner. Highly recommend.

Connor, Sarah and team at the BTL Broker were fantastic to deal with beginning to end. Connor helped us narrow down our options and then guided us through the application process at every step, were completely professional when we changed our minds and always made it clear the decision was ultimately ours. Communication was excellent, they were always available by email, giving daily updates when necessary and always, always called us back.
I’d 100% recommend this broker and worth the fee.

The Buy To Let Broker had done excellent job in obtaining a bridging loan for a large MUFB property and remortgage of an other buy to let property. Sophie and sarah had done a fantastic support and job to acheive this loan mortgages. I am very much glad to recommend them for all secured mortgages and loans

Amazing company and extremely good at dealing with complex cases in a very creative manner. Sarah Matthew and Connor were the dream team and help me have something over the line which was near enough impossible but they did it. If they can’t do it, nobody can I would highly recommend.

Start to finish a painful experience.

I’ve been trying to sell my flat to myself (you heard that correctly) for almost a year, and between slow/drawn out communication, poor management (and the same from the legal firm they recommended), we’ve barely even moved and now closed the case.

I would advise anyone to not waste your money with these time wasters.

Complete waste of time and money.

After taking payment for the application (£199) and property survey fee (£849), they came back six weeks later stating the property is not suitable.

My broker, Steve Walker started off well and ended with ignoring my emails/calls.

The Buy To Let Broker referred me to a very high broker fee paying lender.

My experience with brokers is; they're not very well educated.

All this could have been avoided before payment.
The lender (Fleet) deliberately took our money and did nothing for a couple months then came back saying they do not want to lend which has nothing to do with the survey.

Definitely avoid this broker.

Their better reviews here in between seem suspicious?Overall, a complete waste of time and money.

Started off well, good communication etc, but all of a sudden it has gone silent. Not returning calls or emails. Given up now & have gone elsewhere

We are ever so thankful to have dealt with Matt and Heather. Matt is a extremely professional and efficient. He made the whole process easy and fast. Heather our case worker went above and beyond in helping us as buying a house is never without it's stress. Always contactable and ready to assist us with anything we needed. She also kept us updated with the estate agents and solicitors. She is a true gem and an asset to the company. We will definitely be using their services again and recommending them to all.

As an Estate Agent I deal with a lot of brokers and this company is by far the worst for responding. No news, no call backs, just dodging. Broker is always 'on the phone' but never time to call me. In the end I chase up the lender directly only to find an application declined 4 weeks ago which the broker has failed to disclose. There are plenty of good brokers out there. Connor Lee at TBTLB is not one. My advice is to save yourself time and go somewhere else. Do not be drawn in by 5 star reviews they link on the website. you can only leave a review there if invited. I doubt they will be sending me a request.

Have now used the company on two occasions for a remortgage and can't fault the quality of service provided by Ashley and Steve in terms of helpfulness, ability to explain the process, and the speed with which a last minute hitch (not their fault) was attended to. Totally stress free.

Been using Louise at the BTL broker since 2013. She’s secured many mortgages and remortgages for my portfolio and makes the process a lot more hassle free. I always cross check the market myself to see if I can secure a better deal and I can’t so I’m grateful for her expertise. She also does my residential mortgage now…thanks Louise.

We have used the BTL brokers many times now over the last 8 years and on each occasion Adam and Abby are both super efficient with excellent communication and advice.
Wouldn't use anyone else!

Would have left one star if that was an option. Awful experience, they don't make you aware you are able to choose your own solicitor as opposed to using one selected by the mortgage provider. Inadvertently cost me a lot of money and they charge for the pleasure of it.

21/4 - back in contact and they seem to think they are the regulators by saying what you can and cannot do. Maybe concentrate on your processes including letting the person who the complaint is about raising the complaint. Please do not use these people - they take no accountability when things go wrong / have got your money.

I could not recommend Rachel enough. She has given me a very good specialist advise on the mortgages for a few properties that has helped to make the informed decision. She has a specialist knowledge on more complex properties and I would recommend working with her if you are looking to purchase the property that is not your standard vanilla buy-to-let.

I needed to remortgage and raise some finance ASAP. I’m so glad I used The Buy To Let Broker, Sarah and Duncan got on it straight away and completed in great time. They kept me updated with the progress, almost daily, - great company 👍

I've used Buy to Let brokers twice now - and I am extremely pleased with the service provided. Angie, Fran and Chris were excellent, they are extremely responsive and made the whole mortgage process super smooth. They broke down the process and made clear what was required from me - making it really easy to understand. They reply to emails extremely quickly and are always very practical, rational and clear in their responses - and very friendly too! I've used them a couple times now, and will definitely continue to use them in the future for mortgage support. Thank you!
