1st would never recommend these guys at plug, if anything stay well away
Bought a mini works, tbf seemed OK,had warranty couple yrs
just over 3 months later timing chain tensioner broke causing chain to be slack and broke chain guide, phoned up plug who told me that was a serviceable part and did not come under warranty, so I paid cash to have it done, 2 wks later water leak on water pump, also big oil leak on engine again phoned plug saying this isn't a serviceable part to then find out the warranty is a 3rd party not them. Finally got through to the warranty where I was told the work done on timing chain was warranty work but too late now to claim
The warranty is a waste of time I've found out as plug sell cars with some mileage and some 6-10 yrs old, these cars you have to pay upto 50% of the claim and compensate some towards new parts put on older vehicles, the warranty may aswell be written on toilet paper
I spent an hour on phone to one of the brothers who promised to ring me back today at 10am 06/10/23 he didn't even have decency for that which is only reason this as gone up and will continue to put up anywhere Plug advertise

Terrible service that directly aligns with the other reviews. Their listing of cars is fishy and inconsistent information is provided (some call it lying) and they seem entirely rejecting of dealing with anyone with some knowledge of cars.

The car I was looking at had discrepancies such as incorrect mileage, which is a big thing to me, when they state the car has been serviced in late July this year at 115000 miles, yet checking the mot history you see it had its last mot in March at 116509 miles.

With it being rather expensive I wanted to clear up my concerns before purchase and reached out to them for more information. Their customer service was beyond unsatisfactory. I emailed them, then called them on multiple occasions, once they did eventually get in contact with me I felt like I was talking to someone who didn’t want to be at work. Nevertheless they told me they would get onto my requests, they didn’t, I had to chase them up two more times, until they finally sent me half of what I wanted. Upon the final reminder and no response I decided not to follow up my interest in the car. As if this is how they treat potential buyers of expensive cars, i can only imagine how they would treat you post purchase would align with the other reviews.

Terrible customer services!
Wasted an hour drive after arranging to see a car that wasn’t there.
Return calls non existent.
Total waste of my time!

I purchased a VW Transporter form these guys who were great on the day but after that were terrible and very dishonest.
The vehicle had warning lights come on during the journey form coventry back to essex it also went into limp mode. to be fair they sent a man in a car with a few tools down to see the vehicle which had a faulty oil pressure sensor and large oil leak. he said he would tell chris who i have seen mentioned in other bad reviews on here of the problems and they would pay me to get the work done at my local garage which i did but they never ever sent the money, chose to ignore my calls and messages and when i did get an email they said that the guy they had sent down had not seen an oil leak. i then sent them a screen shot of the messages from the garage guy confirming the oil leak.
Since this the Turbo has then blown up and the warranty that they had put on the van from HANDLER DIRECT is an absolute waste of time as the get out for them was that the turbo was worn, well surely a second hand vehicle will always have some wear?
Im sure these guys sell some ok vehicles but rest assured the vehicle will be passed on to you with the minimum prep done to it. I later found out that the vehicle i had bought from them had been previously returned to them clearly by someone who had spotted the faults prior to me.
PLUG CARS your service is shocking and you vanishing act once the vehicle has left you is legendary!!
To all punters i hope you fair better than me but dont let me tell you I Told You So!!

It appears my last review has been removed. This company sold me a fiesta ecoboost which was delivered to my house. Before I could even look it over the guy had gone! The white paper floor sheets only covered the disgusting mess underneath. There were cobwebs on the wing mirrors ( and Chris that didn't happen on the journey from Coventry to Norfolk ) which had clearly been there a while as Chris had to pay me £35 for me to get it valeted. Then there was the aircon.....took it to get regased and it turned out the pipe was faulty. Yes he sent someone to fit a new pipe ( although it was far from new) and now 11 months after buying it, the engine seized because the wrong oil had been put in it. I never put any oil in as everytime I checked it was within the markings. Now I'm £7149 out of pocket with a car that needs a new engine. Cheers Chris, take me to court for slander but problem is all I'm doing is telling the truth. I'll be making sure I put a review about your company anywhere I can as I'm absolutely disgusted in the way you've dealt with this or rather said it's not your problem and you'll leave it at that. My mechanic can give a report on what he found wrong with the car so you can keep taking this down, I'll just post it again and again. I would never recommend buying a car and having it delivered from this company. This is a very accurate review.

Good customer service helping and guiding me to choose what's best for me drive at my tender age without costing me a fortune .

Visited this garage as I was looking to purchase a new used car as I believed my old car was on its last legs. There were a good range of cars available, and the staff were super friendly and helped me with all of my queries. Thankfully I’ve been able to fix the problem with my car, however when it does inevitably give up on me, I’ll absolutely be heading back to The Plug, as I got the impression it was a genuine trustworthy dealership.

Just bought a Ford focus st2 2008 last month. Although the bonnet lock was missing, they were very friendly and fixed it for me. Just did a major service in a garage and they were very impressed and said the car was in very good condition despite it is an old model. I can now do some mods to make it better ☺️ Again shout out to all of the staffs and the boss (Ryan was super friendly and helpful). 5 stars car and service ! I would recommend anyone to buy cars from this local business 😊

We sold our car to Plug who sent a great chap over to collect it and check it over.
Payment was made quickly and the whole thing was sorted in one afternoon.

I needed a car, I was introduced to a very nice guy called Elliott , the car I wanted was a bmw 4 series grand coupe, and I was quite picky of the specs etc but he made it easy and got me a car that I liked within 3days and got everything approved within a week. Great customer service and would definitely recommend anyone to use their services!

Was recommended by someone regarding TheCarPlug, probably the best service received, cannot fault that. They managed to answer my questions and find me the perfect car even though I was a bit annoying in making a decision which didn't stop them.

Elliot knows how to find the right car, have been driving it for a week or so now and can say he's done a pretty good job of it. Really chuffed with the purchase!

Drop off made into the most simplest and easiest way that works around their customer (by Liam). You can tell they try their best when dealing with someone and do it right.

Would use these guys again in the future and will suggest this company to others, simply because of the service I received. Its exactly the smoothest way you want a car purchase to go.

Was struggling to find my ideal first car, but when I found the car plug they made the process so easy and I barley had to worry about a thing. It came today well before it was meant to meaning I can get out on the roads quicker. Great and fast service definitely would recommend.
