I've asked for a hybrid battery health check and I actually specified HYBRID and they charged me 102£ and they checked other battery not what I asked!
I told them that it's a mistake cuz I asked for the Hybrid battery not other one. They said they are sorry and if I can come back after two days to do what I paid for, I said ok and I was there. I had to wait an hour and a half for nothing. They wrote something on a paper, nonsense I would say without doing anything. Charged me 102£ for nothing, thieves!
Bad boys who put the wool over peoples eyes
My partner took my car to these and at first I thought it was a good price but day after they come out with other problems. The cost went up to over 2 grand . They said I had a dry oil stick so he pick oil up and then took it to Halfords and they said nothing wrong as it’s near top . 3 large areas of the car needed doing cost 775 but I’ve had that check over by a Range Rover person and they said theres nothing to worry about . What a bad experience and I’ll never go back or recommend these to anyone and I didn’t think of looking at the reviews as my minds was elsewhere due to a loved one passing away . It’s caused me so much anxiety since …. Glad I’ve took it to a specialist who know these was talking crap .
Only decent thing they did do is cost me 100 to look at it and give the rest back but it was very strange they ask for money upfront!!!

I have written about my horrendous experience with the Happy Camper Store/Fastlane Autocare in ST Helens. The experience has just become even worse. A quick recap: I paid Happy Campers/Fastlane Autocare an exorbitant £2100 to repair the leaks in my roof. They were supposed to do this in jan this year. Got the van back and found it was still totally leaky. Brought it back in August this year and they promised to do a proper job, then screwed me over with other repairs I needed done so I decided to leave, thinking at least they have repaired the leaks. But after the heavy rainfall lately I found out my van is still very leaky. I wrote to the Happy Camper Store/Fastlane Autocare and this is what Benjamin Parr, the delisted director of the nearly delisted Fastlane Autocare (check Companies House) wrote back: "As explained at the time, we also provided you with a list of advisories for additional work that would benefit your vehicle. You chose not to proceed with those items, which of course was entirely your decision. Unfortunately, the conversation became increasingly hostile despite our efforts to remain transparent." This is their scam method: they tell the customer they told them more work needs done, then they do a bad job and then refer back to the "extra" work. They are CRIMINALS and need to be arrested. Contact me on ruthhopk at gmail dot com if you want to join the class action I am preparing against them. Let's take this idiots down, they have been exploiting people for too long!!

AVOID THIS PLACE, THEY ARE RIPOFF, LYING MUPPETS & WILL LEAVE YOU'RE CAR IN A DANGEROUS CONDITION!!!
Arranged a clutch and flywheel replacement (2014 Sprinter) at £1173 with this company. Made the mistake of only seeing a 4 star rating on my phone when booking, only saw Trust pilots review the next day!!
The following day had a call that the track rods, rear any-roll bar bushes and passenger side shock absorber had completely failed, an extra charge of roughly £1500, the van has only covered around 1000 miles since its last MOT (being converted into a camper van) none of this came up and I've had the anti-roll bar off to fit an underslung water tank, bushes are fine. Told them to just fit what we had arranged.
1 hr later another call, this time the the gearbox output shaft out of tolerance (they even sent me a nice video of a gearbox output shaft being pulled backwards and forwards, demonstrating gear shaft axial float very nicely :) ) luckily they had a recon gearbox in stock, £2800 fitted. I declined and asked them to fit what had we agreed.
30 min later Ben (the boss) called telling at first its illegal to send the van out without changing the gearbox, then changed his tune to its immoral to send it out in such a poor condition (yes he is that thick skinned), in his opinion the gearbox wouldn't make it the end of the road. I ended the call after telling him to do the work we agreed.
I then called the Police in Liverpool to ask advice, they told me to demand the van back and if they refuse it can be classed as vehicle theft, arranged to call them the following day if Ben refused to return my van.
I called Ben back and told him what the Police had said, he then tells me that the quote was wrong and didn't include the flywheel, that's another £1000. Told him to fit the clutch and will be collecting the following lunchtime.
So a simple clutch and flywheel had grown from £1173 to £6473 in the space of 2 hrs or so!!
Collected van the next day, Ben (the brave soul that he is) was hovering around in the workshop, but texting the lad at the front desk to add that they take no responsibility for the work carried out due to me not agreeing the the other work (the other work wasn't listed anywhere), the Police had told me to write on the receipt, before my signature, 'signed under duress and in protest'. I had the impression this isn't the first time the local Police had a call about this business.
The van drove fine on the way home, no knocks from the gearbox, anti-roll bar or the shock absorber (they seem to have made an amazing recovery), but on stopping I did have a fuel leak (didn't have one on the way in??), somehow one of the crimps on the fuel filter had been crushed and was now leaking fuel, luckily my van is diesel. It could have been fatal if it was petrol!!!
The van has now covered around 1200 miles (mostly around North Wales, no issues what so ever and the clutch hasn't exploded due to the gearbox that is completely shot...apparently. I'm a Royal Navy trained Chartered Engineer, I'll be amazed if Ben has any experience in a decent cup of tea :)

A 3-6 month job turns into over 2 years ans the work was such a poor standard I had to get it redone by professionals who advised the work undertaken was 'the worst by a longways they'd ever seen and was actually dangerous. Do not use these Fastlane Autocare
Do not use these Fastlane Autocare - The FastFit Centre . They took
£1400 off me last week for a part that didn't need replacing and now I have to get the broken part replaced by someone else. They was meant to fix the low pressure egr valve which i had in 3 garages before these cowboys where i have proof of the error code but no one could get the part apart from the shit lane auto centre so i put my trust in these and they have put a new high pressure one on instead. I have just been to hyundai in Cheshire oaks this morning after picking my car up where they confirmed they haven't done anything to the broken part or touched the low pressure egr valve and left it disconnected,so the car runs. Nothing but robbing thieving scum !!!!
Rang me yesterday saying I needed a new turbocharger and a new low pressure egr valve £2800.
Ive asked to speak to the manager numerous calls . I went in for a low pressure egr valve and came back with a new high pressure egr valve and still broken low pressure valve ... the company has been dissolved 3 times for not paying the taxes and want money upfront.
What company takes money off a customer first then rings up for more.... these need shutting down.

Absolutely appalling DO NOT USE
This garage ripped off our vulnerable mother. She called this garage because the clutch in her car was faulty. They bombarded her and immediately sent their mobile mechanic to tell her what she already knew; and then sent their recovery truck to take her car 0.8 miles to their garage, even though her car was drivable. £340+VAT. Then there was a phone call asking for another £255+VAT for a gearbox linkage strip down. Then there was another phone call asking for another £2,400.00. WTH. Our mother panicked and contacted a family member who intervened. The garage do not take any responsibility for their actions, deny they have done anything wrong, refuse to give a refund, do not respond to emails; and have no processes in place for dealing with vulnerable people. Their Mission is to Drive Excellence and Inspire Trust???????????????????????????
They have a very aggressive business model and within their terms and conditions ‘Acceptance of Terms’ - By completing payment you acknowledge and agree to their terms and conditions. Why is this garage allowed to continue to operate? Do we need a community meeting to talk about this and the impact to customers per the Trust Pilot and Google reviews.
Unable to give zero stars
Sent my car in with piston slapping noise for an engine rebuild, was told needs an oil change and timing chain replacement. Not one mechanic had any clue! Wasting your time sending your car here!
Disgusting …
Disgusting had to pay £175 up front for a guy to come to diagnose electrical problem. Due at 10am came at 10.20 hardly any english. I told him what the fault was he agreed with me..... yes there is a fault on the electrics and said car would have to go into workshop some one will phone within 1 hr he then promptly left before 10.30am. £175 for 10 mins not bad I only then found out about the terrible antics of this firm i immediately phoned a reliable Peugeot dealer wrote off the £175 before i lost any more money and booked my car in there. It may work out dear but i get piece of mind. Fast fix finally rang me at 16.00 hrs I told them i wasnt having any more work done by them he muttered something and put phone down.

Had a star diagnostic done on my car by one of their mobile units. diagnosed on site with needing a new turbo. receives phone call needs a new turbo. no diagnostic sent to me at all. gets a new turbo... fault still happening. rings them up they want me to pay for another diagnostic as they haven't done the turbo! person on phone outright refuses to give me his name. we go through my email address again to try get me the diagnosis sent over still no email. STAY AWAY TERRIBLE SERVICE!
Poor service, no response, untrustworthy
I have called for a mobile service’ paid £178 for a staff who is not a professional, he spent 18 minutes on the phone trying to sort out the issue and left. Next day the office called me asking for + £800 to fix my car. Then they vanished as soon I have refused it and requested for an invoice and policy agreement to let me know what services are covered for £178 I have paid, I have emailed them without any response! Im disputing for refund part of my money. Definitely, I don’t recommend no one using this company. It’s a scammer. Take your time and look for a professional solution instead this mobile service, they will just take advantage of your situation and offer an unrealistic price for the services!
Beyond a rip off
Contacted this garage on 27 August. Had a problem with my central locking system and also a oroblem with micro switch on boot which was causing my battery to drain. A mechanic came to my house an hour and a half later than expected, he didn't even know why he was there and had very poor communication skills. I explained the problems to him and after about 45 minutes he said that the central locking system needed to be reset. He wasn't even going to mention the boot problem until i prompted him but after checking it he said there was a faulty lock. He told me that I needed to take the car to the garage but this would prove difficult as I had a flat battery. I spoke to a supervisor who said the part would be ordered for the boot and he would ring me the next day. I heard nothing until the 5th of September when I rang them after returning from holiday. They apologised and said there had been a mix up and the part hadn't even been ordered. I was then told as a gesture of good will somebody would come out and fit the part at a cost of £346! I have since found out that the part costs £40-50. Extortionate
I have also found out that the diagnosis regarding the central locking system was incorrect. It is in fact a wiring problem, not a reset issue. Needless to say, I wouldn't dream of letting them do the work, and sadly have lost £173. Steer clear of these rip off merchants.
AVIOD AT ALL COSTS!
After originally having a diagnostic which showed 2 faults (alternator and injector seal) I agreed for the job to be carried out at a cost of £1500. I then received a call stating that they have found a fault with the timing chain and aux belt. After questioning why this wasn't detected initially they said that they only recognised it once they spotted it??? I asked on the call once this job is complete the car will run smooth again? To which the answer was yes. To repair it cost me an additional £1300. I received another phone call saying the mechanics cant get the timing belt lined up and they "think" it must be an internal engine problem and to check if thats the case it would be an additional £500 or the alternative is a whole new engine. After asking why would I pay £500 for a problem you don't even know exists they said that this was the only thing they could recommend. They told me the car will not start unless they can fix this issue but I explained to them that the car started fine when the mechanic originally completed the diagnostic and this is there issue not mine - no joy. I refused this job and was told I could receive a refund of parts only as labour costs have already been paid I agreed to this. After 3 days of calling them to arrange a refund all I kept getting told was my "my supervisor has to sort this hes not here at the moment" I eventually turned up to the garage and was told there had been confusion and the only part I can be refunded for was the timing chain as this was yet to be fitted. Add to this the absolute state of my car - dirty hand marks all over, the engine not put back to its original state and parts just left in the boot. This place needs to be closed down they are looking to do one thing and that is exploit people out of as much money as possible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Awful garage
Awful garage , rang for a price on some work and was quoted approx £1500 for supply and fitting a £100 part and one hours labour job, asked for breakdown on how they have come back with this price and still waiting on a response after a week, chased numerous times and promised will get a breakdown but never happens , read the other reviews and there shocking, amazed how these are still legally trading

I booked my tyre replacement through blackcircles and this was the closest tyre place and balckcricles preferred fitter. I didn't check the reviews as what could possibly go wrong changing a tyre! I happened to check the reviews once i had booked and there were a lot saying they got ripped off etc, again I thought I'm only having tyres fitted so what can possibly go wrong... how wrong i was.
On the day of the tyre fit i got a call 1 hour in saying we cant get your locking wheel nuts off so we are going to have to take them all off and replace them. that'll be nearly £300 for new wheel nuts. At which point I told them don't touch the car and that I've read the previous reviews saying you do this to a lot of people. Told them ill be picking up the car and the new tyres to which i was told I cant pick up the tyres. I proceeded to tell them i can they are my tyres and I've paid for them (i bought through eBay Blackcircles and chose to have them delivered there)
After picking the car and tyres up i could see the locking key was destroyed, I honestly cant see how you can get a key like this without purposely destroying it so it cant work. It looked like some had got a drill to it and you could see it was fresh damage!
I ended up having to ring around multiple garages for someone that could fix their mess and eventually found a local garage you did it for £95 which is a huge difference to the £300 they quoted. I also cant prove it but if I had taken it to another garage the bolts my never have needed replacing at all!
Having spoken to neighbours they said they had a very similar issue when having tyres done, all I would say i please don't use them and go elsewhere They are rip off merchants!
Blackcirlces have been amazing and offered me compensation and I've told them they need to be taken off their books as they are going to get more customers making similar complaints in the future

I am finding it difficult to even put in to words how actually despicable this 'garage' is. I will do an in depth review at another time, but in the meantime I am actually planning to take them to court, so if anyone else here would like to get involved also on a mass lawsuit then please do reach out to me! Currently £20k down and NO WORKING VEHICLE. Disgusting. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely awful experience throughout. They will mislead you, get you to pay up front then hike costs and delay the job. Read the reviews, they don’t give a hoot about the customer or fairness. Worst experience I’ve ever had as a customer just appalling.

Then they have then quoted thousands for a new gear box. Is this because we have a personalised registration number? Fortunately we have now sought help from a reputable company. Please please seek other quotes...This is our opinion.....
Avoid this garage, terrible customer service
tried to rip me off and told me my van needed a new diesel heater when it clearly did not, and also kept waiting in reception over 40 minutes despite my van already being booked in over email. They had not even looked at my van before telling me i needed a new diesel heater - when all I wanted was a diesel pickup installing deeper in the tank !!
