I was very weak and unfit after having my baby, and my body felt lethargic and weak every day.
I loved the sessions. They were small, and I got a lot of support with each exercise and with the things I didn’t know how to do. The coaches are great.
I’ve already gotten so much stronger and have more energy, which was my goal. I’ve been consistent with my training thanks to the accountability from my nutrition coach. I can’t believe how quickly I’ve increased weights and improved my fitness, and I feel so much better since starting.
I would absolutely recommend The HIIT Locker — there really is no price on looking after your health and feeling fit and healthy, which is exactly what The HIIT Locker supports you to do. The classes are varied, and you really learn how to lift weights properly. All the staff and coaches are so lovely, and I’ve signed up to keep going. Highly recommend!
Great gym great results
Before starting at The HIIT Locker, my fitness was poor. I used to be sporty but fell out of it after uni and getting into full-time work, and over around 8–9 years I became progressively more out of shape.
The training sessions have been excellent. The mix of small and large groups is not only good fun but also really manageable around a busy work diary. The nutrition programme has genuinely been a godsend, with some really simple tips that make a world of difference — like reading the back of packaging instead of just trusting the front, and shopping around for less calorific options. The diet plan is a great place to start and then branch out from when you’re ready.
The coaches are the best thing about The HIIT Locker. They are friendly, professional, and really know their stuff. What really comes across is that they genuinely care about you and your results — I couldn’t speak more highly of them.
Over the 6 weeks, I lost 16 pounds, dropped my BMI and body fat, and reduced visceral fat by two points. I’ve also lost two inches off my waist. For years the numbers had just been going up, so this has been genuinely great.
I couldn’t recommend The HIIT Locker enough. I’ve tried diets, training on my own, and every fad going, but this is the first time I’ve seen results in years. What I like about The HIIT Locker is that it’s about changing habits, not just a quick fix. I’m over the moon with the results I got in 6 weeks, so let’s see where I get after 6 months!
The HIIT Locker
Before starting at The HIIT Locker, I was so unfit. I hadn’t done any exercise in years (a lot of years) and would get tired very easily.
The training sessions were very hard for me at the start, I’m not going to lie, but with the help of the brilliant coaches I was able to do every session and improve week on week. The nutrition was so easy to follow after watching Phil’s videos. He gave so many helpful hints on how to reduce calories without missing out on the food you like, and of course how to increase protein intake.
Since joining, I have lost 35lbs (my goal was 10–14lbs). My energy levels have increased, and my strength and stamina have also improved. In my clothes, I have gone from a size 12/14 to a 6/8.
I would recommend The HIIT Locker in a heartbeat. It is the best thing I have ever done, and I have met the most amazing bunch of people. The HIIT Locker makes the gym a much more enjoyable place.
Excellent programme at the HIIT Locker
My weight had reached the highest level it has ever been, and it was starting to affect my mobility. I realised that I had no strength and was struggling with simple things like getting back up after kneeling down. I knew that if I didn’t sort it out soon, it was only going to get worse.
The training sessions have been fantastic. I really appreciate that each of the trainers is patient and encouraging. I don’t feel judged or under pressure, but I really value the support they give to push myself as far as I can to get the most benefit out of the sessions.
My weight is starting to come down at a steady rate, and the programme doesn’t leave me feeling deprived in any way. I am starting to notice a real improvement in my strength and stamina, and I’m able to push myself further than I thought I could, which is a pleasant surprise.
I would 100% recommend The HIIT Locker. It’s a great programme with fantastic support from knowledgeable trainers in a friendly and non-judgemental space.

Before starting at The HIIT Locker, I had been steadily putting on weight since the Covid lockdown and, especially after turning 40, felt like I only had to look at food to gain weight. In January 2025, I was the heaviest I’d ever been. I had always exercised but often lacked motivation or got bored training on my own, so I wasn’t always consistent.
At first, I was nervous about going into a new gym with new people, but everyone was so friendly that feeling didn’t last long. The regular check-ins from the nutrition coach really helped keep me on track, and with so many classes throughout the day there was no excuse not to make all the sessions.
One year after joining The HIIT Locker, I’ve lost 3 stone. I’m down two sizes and, more importantly, feeling stronger and healthier than I have in a long, long time.
I’ve been to a number of different gyms and PTs over the past 20 years, and while I’ve enjoyed them all, The HIIT Locker just gets something right when it comes to building a community. I always wondered how people said they met people at their gym, and now I get it. Everyone works to their own level, so I’ve never felt self-conscious about my ability, and the coaches provide personal feedback in a discreet and productive way. The only downside to joining The HIIT Locker is that I’ve had to buy a whole new wardrobe.
The HIIT Locker
I had been training on my own for one year but started to lose motivation and felt like I wasn’t getting anywhere with the exercises I was doing myself. I knew I needed to make a change to maximise results and get to where I wanted to be with my fitness.
Everything in The HIIT Locker has been fantastic. The training sessions are enjoyable and effective. The coaches are very supportive and are always so patient with me! The nutrition programme is a great support and helps me to know that I’m doing the right things in regards to that.
I have lost body fat and feel so much stronger and fitter. Something that I know I wouldn’t have achieved yet if it wasn’t for The HIIT Locker.
I have recommended The HIIT Locker to lots of people in my life. I love the community aspect of HL as it’s not only about going to the gym to do a workout, you have good craic too. I was in a good place in terms of health and fitness before I started at HL. My goal was to reduce fat and gain muscle mass. It wasn’t so much about losing weight.
I thought training sessions were great, coaches are super helpful. I thought I knew a lot about nutrition, but actually having a plan and recording what I ate was very useful and I learnt from it.
I lost nearly 7% of body fat without restrictive measures. I feel good in my body and my clothes. Everything fits better. My energy level is high.
I would definitely recommend! Results are guaranteed if you do what you sign up for.

Before I Joined My fitness was reasonable but my strength was not good and I was constantly getting injuries from running.
The training sessions were (and still are!) a good balance between being challenged and pushed on-and not being made to feel inadequate or frustrated by failure. The small groups means that mistakes are corrected so that I get my form right and don’t hurt myself. The nutrition was carefully explained and supported and it was good to be held accountable. I was less concerned about weight loss than strength but it was good to see how to pay more attention to calories and especially to up my intake of protein.
I lost weight at the beginning but have been less disciplined about my eating more recently. So while I lost over half a stone I have probably put it back on again through my own inconsistency! However my strength has improved-since starting The HIIT Locker I took over 6 minutes off my Half Marathon PB and was able to run a Marathon with fewer training miles. The 2 HIIT sessions per week have been the constant throughout training even when running sessions have sometimes fallen by the wayside.
I would absolutely recommend The HIIT Locker. The small groups means that you are not overlooked and are challenged and encouraged. The variety, progression and options of the different sessions keep me on my toes -I never know what’s coming next. (Which is maybe sometimes for the best!) While some exercises can be very tough, knowing that it’s only 40 seconds at a time really helps. (Although 40 seconds can seem like a lifetime sometimes-like on battle ropes or the assault bike!) But the personal element of the sessions is what makes The HIIT Locker really stand out. The coaches are interested in us as people and show care and encouragement about life beyond the gym. Special mention to Adam for dealing with some of my meltdowns, especially in the last year which had a few tough times-and to Hugh who has shown great patience when I keep forgetting technique and need to be corrected yet again! Two gentle giants and complete gentlemen whose value, influence, expertise and worth cannot be spoken of highly enough. The other members are also a huge asset-humour, support and encouragement are there in abundance and I am massively encouraged to see their strength, determination and progress. For someone who can be easily intimidated, the HIIT Locker has been such a positive and upbuilding experience and I’m full of appreciation for all the staff.
A great gym!
Before I joined I had slowly put weight on over the last year. I felt sluggish and wanted to focus on getting back to the gym and eating healthier.
The sessions are really well structured and change each session. The coaches are extremely approachable and supportive, they explain each part of the workout and correct/encourage you throughout every session.
I’ve lost weight, have seen a big improvement in my strength but the main thing is I’m now in a routine with both gym sessions and nutrition.
The 6 week foundation programme is a great way to get started. Access to all available classes and nutrition advice really made it easy. Everyone in the gym can complete the same sessions regardless of previous gym experience, age or fitness, each session can be adapted. I’ve really loved my first 6 weeks and have just signed up to 6 more months!

I was about 4.5 months postpartum with baby number 2 and just woke up depleted of energy everyday, I am a person that needs physical activity in my day to day but with two young children there was always something to do and places to go to and that always took priority. Until one day I said I need to make a change.
When I joined I thought it was great, I needed accountability and direction and that’s what I got! It was the kick start I needed to getting to feel back to myself.
I have increased my fitness and strength, clothes are fitting better, adopted better eating habits, awareness by tracking my food. Most importantly, more energy!

I had let training and nutrition slip…
I had let training and nutrition slip for a few years- had put on weight and would get out of breath easily when attempting anything strenuous. It really affected my confidence and energy levels.
After the very first session I remember thinking “what have I done- this is insane” but with structured coaching and guidance I quickly fell into a routine and started to really enjoy the classes. The coaches are all really supportive and make the sessions demanding but fun. Having a weekly check in with a coach for the first 12 weeks really helped keep me accountable to my nutrition and fitness goals.
Since starting I’ve lost 1.5 stone, gone down a clothes size and lost 7% body fat. My energy levels and motivation have increased massively. My fitness watch has tracked that my cardio fitness has improved and I’m continuing to progress on strength training.
I would 100% recommend the HIIT locker- the structured support to help you reach your goals is fantastic. There are lots of variations in classes so it’s easy to find one that suits you and your schedule. Every member of the team is friendly and supportive, and so are the other members.

I have lost 28lbs . I struggle less with my knee and am able to play football with my 2 very energetic grandchildren. I have a lot more energy.
I would recommend The Hiit locker for all the above reasons but also because it is not just a gym but more like a club with everyone so friendly and no feelings of being inadequate from fellow members just loads of encouragement.
Join up…no regrets
Before starting I had put on a lot of weight after losing my mum and having a baby in a very short space of time. I was unfit and unhappy. I avoided buying new clothes and hated being out of breath doing basic things. Then I got really ill. I was waiting for surgery and was given a really strict diet to follow. I lost 40lbs but was so scared I would put it back on after surgery so while the motivation was with me I joined the HIIT Locker.
I was really scared when I joined up - what if I couldn’t do it, what if I didn’t lose anything, what would people think of me? But instantly I was reassured. The other members were so friendly and so kind, everyone spoke to me. The trainers were lovely, so supportive and helped me pace myself. The nutrition programme was amazing! It didn't feel like a diet at all which meant I knew I could sustain it! All my fears were alleviated.
I’ve been coming to The HIIT Locker for about 3 months. I have lost 28lbs and dropped 2 dress sizes. I am so much fitter and much much stronger. I even have muscles I never had before. I see my strength improve week on week and am so motivated and encouraged to keep going. Aside from the physical results, my mental health is in a much better place, overcoming post natal anxiety and coping better with my bereavement.
I love the HIIT Locker. Everyone is so kind, so friendly and so encouraging. The classes are flexible and the coaches will push to bring out the best in you. They genuinely want you to achieve your goals. Everyone is down to earth and normal - no makeup, fake tan or short shorts required!
Great experience at The HIIT Locker
Before I started Ihad a low fitness level and lower back pain. Pain went after the first 6 to 8 weeks of training AND so far has not returned :-). I believe my general fitness is much better, but I see this as work in progress. Overall, I feel much better, enjoy the training, any extra walking etc. and don't want to miss a session. I have also much more Energy and have met fabulous people!
Training is excellent and was from the beginning. The coaches are super, without you guys, I would have given up. The nutrition programme worked for me as long as I stick to it.
Weight loss/differences in fitness, strength & energy level all of the above, probably lost 2 dress sizes, but need to keep an eye on these.
Highly recommend The HIIT Locker to friends as it worked and is fun. Suppose weight training is not for everyone and some people like other workouts and will see results for them. Location may also be an issue for some; I need to avoid traffic times. Otherwise, maybe add some boxing classes in the evenings? They are strength and cardio exercises.

Before joining my fitness was on track but not my eating and I was becoming unhappy with how my clothes fit.
I love the training sessions, the coaches are all great and help me to commit to continuing with the training. The nutrition helped me get back on track.
I achieved my fitness goal and happy with my achievements.
I would recommend as varied sessions help people with all levels of fitness. The groups are welcoming and the pt's are informative and can adapt where necessary the workouts.
Best gym in Belfast
Before I joined I was 1.5 stone overweight and I just had no energy and none of my clothes were fitting and I didn’t feel good about myself.
I loved the variation of classes available. I enjoy the mix of large and small group sessions. The nutrition programme is easy to follow and definitely works if you follow it religiously. I think the weekly check- in is so important to help you stay on track. The coaches are so helpful and supportive.
My results so far - 11 pounds lost. 2.5% Body fat lost -2 on BMI
I would highly recommend it to anyone. There is a class for everyone and all the clients and coaches are so helpful, welcoming, encouraging and supportive.
Getting my life back!
Before starting I had aches and pains, was tired and not very flexible or mobile.
Training sessions are great coaches are extremely helpful and friendly nutrition programme helps you make better decisions and coaches give great advice and encouragement throughout.
I’m down 5lb and also a dress size I feel so much stronger I’m getting my confidence back my body shape is changing and I’m enjoying going to classes I feel I’m getting my old self back.
I’d definitely recommend, great classes and coaches are amazing all the other people that go are so friendly you don’t feel judged or out of place.
Great place to workout and learn about nutrition
Before I joined I struggled with motivation, going through the same work outs and not changing things up. Was also struggling with the nutrition side of things.
I really liked the variation in the different training sessions. It keeps me from getting bored. The sessions just fly in. The coaches are great for making sure I'm keeping proper form. They are also very encouraging with out being pushy. Nutrition planning is something I've struggled with in the past. I found that Phil explained things really well with plenty of supporting guides and videos to help me get started. And Hugh has been great at keeping an eye on me during my weekly check-ins and giving guidance on tweaking my nutrition goals.
So far, I'm down 15lbs,l. I've lost around 4 inches around my waste and can fit into my smaller jeans again (Probably down around one waist size so far). Energy levels have improved in general and feeling a bit more confident in myself.
I would highly recommend The HIIT Locker. I've found the approach to the training classes and the nutritional guidance have been something I've been lacking in the past. There is no standing around waiting for equipment to be free that I've been used to in other gyms. The staff are all amazing and really helpful to new members.

The programme was fantastic as the classes were at times that suited my work schedule and days off. Also being advised on calories and how to get enough of the right protein, fat etc was great as it made me more aware of what I was actually eating. The coaches are all amazing and besides demonstrating what exercise is next, they continually walk around during class to give advice and correcting posture which is really great.
So far I have dropped 7% off my body fat and brought my BMI down, this has helped me go down a size in tops, so I have dropped from Large to medium. I also can see the physical change in my body shape which is what I wanted to achieve.
I would totally recommend The HIIT Locker, it is a great gym and feels more like extended family as everyone offers support and encouragement. There is a great variety of classes so no 2 are ever the same and getting a weekly/monthly nutrition check-in is a bonus as it helps to keep you on track and the coaches can help make any changes if needed. I felt I needed to improve my level of fitness by adding in some kind of weight training so I signed up.
I thought the coaches were all very friendly and encouraging. They were able to instruct me on how to do all of the exercises and correct me where I was going wrong. The training sessions were fun and flew in. I was sent a nutrition programme which gave lots of ideas for meal planning.
So far I feel stronger and I am starting to see more definition in my muscles. I definitely feel all the muscle groups the next day that I've been working!
I would recommend the HIIT locker because they offer the whole range of exercise and diet coaching that you may require. For me personally, I am interested in the exercise part and not too heavy on the diet coaching. This option is catered for too. There is no pressure to sign up and different schedules are available to suit individual availabilities.
