Certainly a tremendous experience with this company. I ordered in a pair of high boots and was delighted at the quality of the boots provided. Mark was very helpful, not only facilitating my request to add hobnails to my boots, but he was constantly attentive and responsive with progress updates and any queries I had. Would highly recommend this wee place for some historically accurate uniforms and dress but also a really niche (and nice) place to add some flair to your overall style and wardrobe!

Mark has made the process easy and enjoyable. Even for a small production like ours, he gave us so much help and support. The uniforms are fantastic.

I ordered 4 months ago and sent 3 mails but never got a reply or an item

I ordered a ww2 luftwaffe leather jacket and after the initial order i was sent a measuring chart, the updates and communication with mark was great and i was kept updated on its progress. On my receipt of the jacket i was really impressed with the fit and standard of workmanship and fully recommend them.

Fantastic service from Mark, nothing was too much trouble, and the quality and authenticity of the outfit was superb, would definitely use them again.

I have purchased several garments from History Bunker. The Peeler coat does not disappoint. Well made.

I politely requested three or four times that a replacement part for a leather jacket fastener be sent to me. That part was lost because the stitching came undone.
No response whatsoever.

Ordering was easy, straightforward and clear. Communication with Mark was great. All my questions were answered swiftly and courteously.
I ordered an Officers frock coat and a WW1 British Army Officers complete uniform. Although the advertised make up time was 10 weeks, when I explained that I needed these items for a certain event, Mark made it happen earlier than the 10 weeks.
The quality was great, with the frock coat virtually indistinguishable from the real thing. I can't say about the WW1 Officers uniform as I've never seen one !
Items arrived by courier when expected, well packaged and on time. As different items were coming from different suppliers, they didn't all arrive at once.
I would use The History Bunker again if there is an item I can't get hold of easily. In fact I'm already enquiring about another clothing item.
Well done in every aspect of this order.

I stumbled across a coat whilst looking for a Second World War replica RAF flying jacket. It was termed “WW2 Gestapo” - perhaps a little off-putting but the coat is absolutely perfect literally to the last stitch ! I’ve been over the coat with the proverbial fine tooth comb and everything is pure quality: very heavy leather ( buffalo ), stitching….

I ordered the coat in extra large and on arrival tried it on with slight trepidation re: fit. As it goes, had it been made to measure, it could not have been better !
It’s rare indeed for me to offer such praise but the coat deserves it.

I will probably have to put up with sarcastic comments from friends ( Herr Flick, etc ) but a small price to pay. 😀

We rented a WW1 costume for a film shoot. It was very short notice but The History Bunker posted out our costume incredibly quickly and the costume was very high quality. Great experience!

I went back to the History Bunker for a second year running to order a WW2 RAF officer’s uniform for the Goodwood Revival. I mentioned to Mark that I wanted to be a High Ranking officer and once again Mark did not disappoint as I was sent an Air Vice Marshal’s uniform. The sizes were exactly as ordered. The box arrived well ahead of the event with everything in very good condition, the Cap actually looked new. I have recommended The History Bunker to others and will continue to do so.

I ordered a WWII ordinary seaman naval uniform for a play I was putting on in my local town. The uniform looked incredible, and was even complimented by a Lord-Lieutenant on the opening night. Mark has been helpful and approachable the entire time and the hire costs are excellent value for money. Highly recommend. Thank you.
