This is a scam. They take your money, don’t reply to emails, lie about delivery times and then never respond. Do not order from this ‘business’.

I would give this “business” negative stars if I could. They completely ghosted me once it came down to having to produce the actual product and mail me my order. I even provided them with the design myself! I lost over $500 and now I don’t have enough time to order new matchboxes from an actual reliable company in time for my wedding. THIS PERSON IS A SCAM. Their Instagram account is fake and they only produce enough products to make it look like they actually do work. Do yourself a favor and avoid!

The reviews on this website definitely scared me after purchasing, but I was very pleased by the end result. I ordered 100 matchboxes for a wedding. With some parameters, Laldie developed four custom designs that turned out incredible. It was super easy to work with the designer and the quality of the matchboxes is great. I definitely recommend Laldie and would ignore the reviews from prior years.

ALL - I have also been a victim of this company. I paid in full, did not receive the products ordered, and did not receive any refund. Communication stopped completely.

Looking to support a small business, we placed an express corporate order with The Laldie in November.

Initially, they were responsive and helpful with our enquiry, which gave us confidence to proceed and pay extra for the promised quick turnaround.

Unfortunately, that confidence quickly evaporated. After payment, communication almost disappeared, and we had to chase multiple times for updates. Despite our design being fully prepared on our side and ready for print, there were repeated delays, impacting our schedule by nearly three weeks.

By the time the order arrived, our expectations were low - and unfortunately, unsurprisingly, the products were unacceptable.

The finish was glossy instead of the matte we had ordered, the colours did not match the approved mock-up, the printing was misaligned and the matchboxes themselves were poorly made and did not fit together properly. The order was completely unusable for its intended purpose and could not be used to represent our brand.

Despite escalating the matter and requesting a full refund along with instructions for returning the product, we have received no response.

The whole experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Based on our experience and similar reviews from others, we cannot recommend The Laldie and would caution anyone considering working with them. It also leads me to question the authenticity of the client references displayed on their website.

Quite frankly, it is difficult to understand why this business continues to take on orders it cannot deliver.

This company is a SCAM! Do not use this company called thelaldie.co as they don’t deliver the products once you paid. Totally unprofessional and disappointing service. Should be reported to the authorities for continuing doing this to their clients.

We are a wedding planning agency, and we trusted this company, the laldie , after she contacted us to promote her work. Her Instagram looked beautiful, so we decided to give her a chance and switch from our usual custom-napkin supplier. This was probably the biggest mistake ever!!

The design was entirely created by the bride! She had absolutely nothing to do except print. The order was also fully paid two months in advance. Despite this, she failed to deliver.

This laldie is a fraud and a scam artist who will never send your items. After multiple follow-ups, she sent a tracking number only four days before the wedding , leaving us with no time to produce new napkins. When the package finally arrived, she had shipped only 1/4 of the order , just the matchbooks and none of the napkins.

We were left scrambling for napkins for a major wedding in Paris. Even worse, she initially claimed she had shipped everything, but after checking with the courier, it became clear that she never sent the napkins at all . She now refuses to refund the €2,000 we paid.

I strongly warn anyone considering working with her: do not trust this company.

I placed my order July 2025 for my wedding in September 2025. There were various shipping issues. Despite knowing my wedding date for months, it was left to be sent overnight last minute and was stuck in customs in France for days and missed the event. The matchboxes arrived late (poor quality), the napkins were never sent. They refunded me in the end but it was very disappointing.

This company is the worst company I have had the displeasure of dealing with. I placed an order via Etsy for my first purchase, which I did not have any issues with. Due to this, I didn’t second guess ordering directly from their website for a second purchase. What a mistake!!! I placed the order in July 2025 after checking with them if the date of my wedding at the end of August would be a manageable time frame for them. They confirmed the date I needed them by was fine and the order would definitely arrive in time. After many of my messages and emails going ignored, I finally had a reply from them a week before my wedding informing me the products were shipped without an invoice declaration, so the order had been returned to their production address. Fast forward to today (2/10/25), and I still have not received my refund for the goods they did not provide, and they seem to go silent when they can’t provide a reasonable explanation as to where my refund is/ when I will be receiving it. An absolutely poorly ran company that I would advise anyone to avoid completely.

Unfortunately my experience with them was like many others. Poor communication, poor quality and the creative collab never happened- I asked them to fix things or gave inspiration and they wouldn’t deliver what I was asking. The matches I received were so cheap and crappy looking- they’re totally unusable. A waste of time and money

Awful customer service , ordered in January then was never informed y'all's Etsy was removed (where I ordered) which should have been a red flag. I was promised it would be sent and received in may. I received it THE DAY BEFORE I LEFT for my September 20th wedding. It's insane - I know the owner is going through something but this was awful and to do to someone for their wedding is insanely sad.

I am shocked by how horrible my experience has been. We hired The Laldie on July 16 to produce matchboxes and cocktail napkins for our October wedding. When they were responsive, it was the most painful process. We gave clear instructions they continuously ignored, required multiple follow up emails to receive a response, and were not thoughtfully or "custom-made with care" at all. Responses and creative output seemed robotic, and I am shocked how any brand or publication has worked with them or endorsed their experience.

I would give this no stars if I could. I ordered in the New Year and was given a delivery date of February. This date came and went and nothing. I chased, a few times. Each time I was told it would be dispatched. It wasnt. I then raised a complaint with Shopify which seemed to prompt the owner to reply to my emails and DMs. My order was dispatched in appaling bendy packing which caused the print to become bent in transit. I was also told that she would throw in 10 matchboxes for free which didnt materialise.

Communication is appaling, packaging is appaling, did not pay attention to the wording requested and the print? Seemed like very little skill went into it. Purely digital.

I would NEVER order from here again.

Terrible, horrible experience. Please stay away, everything from the beginning to the end was a disaster. They lied about the delivery date, promissing a 5 business days delivery. The matchboxes were 1 month late and during the entire month I got no answers to all my follow up emails!! I thought my case was an isolated one, but by reading all the reviews I see she’s been scamming so many people… I am truly disappointed, the matches did not arrive for my wedding, she refused any refund and I have wasted so much time and energy on this… Please stay away from this woman.

Terrible experience: poor communication, late shipping, damaged products. They promised a refund + compensation after my complaint, but nothing ever happened and now they don’t reply at all. Very disappointing.

Refused to reply to emails, used AI to design the matchboxes and when we finally agreed upon a design they never even made the product, never shipped it. I kept emailing them every day and they would only respond if I left comments on their instagram page warning other people (which they then blocked me immediately and deleted all the comments). Never refunded me even though I never got the product, never once explained or apologised. I see I'm not the only one, definitely scammers.

Absolutely horrible experience. It was pulling teeth to get an email back or any sort of response. I ordered in May and they said there would be no problem having my order delivered before my wedding at the end of July. A week before the wedding they said they wouldn't be able to ship the order until a day before the wedding. Thankfully I had gotten a backup order of matches and napkins from Etsy. They offered an "immediate refund". It's been a month and I haven't received anything or have even gotten a response.

Laldie matchboxes. All appeared very exciting and professional until we paid. After this there was a noticeable change in communication tone and lack of care in understanding and executing of our desired aesthetic. Several rounds of blunt, one-word emails after misunderstanding and seemingly being annoyed by our amend requests; despite saying that customers have total revision rights. Once finally reaching a mutually agreed upon design, we had to chase for months for the boxes to be printed and delivered. No updates came without prompting and we thought that they would miss our wedding date all together. When the boxes did arrive the background was plain white (not the agreed upon colour), a line of text was missing and the boxes were dirty with matches loose within the delivery box. A thoroughly stressful experience with a very poor quality final product that came months after it should have. Avoid the stress!

Communication at the beginning was ok. After I paid ($550, which was apparently a 50% discount) for our order communication broke down. Emails went unanswered, DMs ignored. Any communication that was received felt like AI.
My fiance sent a mood board for inspiration and the one invitation draft we received was an similar version of the one she made. The date we would receive our order kept getting further and further away. Ultimately cancelled our order which they also said was not possible.
If you're not a big design house it seems you will be treated as an afterthought.

A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!! GO AWAY IF YOU'RE THINKING TO BUY FROM THEM.
More than 2 months to deliver our products, super hard to get an answer from them, you cannot choose your colors. They said they have the final word on the design which is ok why not, we choose colors such as green, orange, pink as shown in their Instagram but they said "the quality will not be there so we choose green & purple". Just because they missed an email, they launched the production and they forgot to choose the colors we wanted as indicated in our last email.
It is very a bad company that promise something they cannot offer you.
At the end, very bad communication since the beggining about the delivery.
Everything was wrong with them, please choose another supplier, you don't need extra stress.
