Having been born in Liverpool and thinking I knew a few things about my fabulous home city, then I was pleasantly surprised by how much I didn't know, Fran was so informative and easy going making it a really great experience, thanks again Fran. 😀 🫡

I had the most fun afternoon with Fran looking up and finding out soo much about the wonderful city of Liverpool. I’ve always loved this city, however, this tour has made me love it even more.
Thanks for opening my eyes and making the tour so interactive and informative.

What a great tour, Fran was so knowledgeable & the stories she told were so interesting, as a Liverpudlian I learnt so much I didn't know.
We live in a great city & dont know half of what is around us.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable gentle walk around our amazing city lasting about 2.5 hours, extremely good value.

Fran was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Despite living in Liverpool all of my life we learned so much from Fran who was also able to answer any questions we had along the way.

Would highly recommend Fran and will be joining her again on one of her other storytelling walks.

Fantastic value for money. We met Fran at 10:30 for our walk having found out our pickup point a couple of days before.
Fran greeted is in a warm and friendly manner and then we set about our walk which took us to many famous places. Fran's knowledge and delivery was informative, funny and factual.
We had the best day and leaned many new things about our amazing city.
Would definitely recommend and can't wait for the next one.

We were delighted to tour Liverpool with such a wonderful guide. Fran gave us a warm welcome and tailored the tour to our interests and the time we had available.
We visited the docks, where she explained the city's historical development in great detail, helping us understand both Liverpool's beauty and the many struggles it's people have faced throughout history.
Through engaging stories, the places we visited came alive. We learned about the lives of the sailors and the local traditions, including fundraising events promoted by Simpson.
We enjoyed the day and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Liverpool. We wish Fran every success with the wonderful work she is doing. Keeping Bella and Bertie in our hearts.

I’ve lived in Liverpool for 20 years, but discovered it in a totally new way today. Fran shared her vast knowledge through many true stories and facts which at times moved me and made me love Liverpool even more. She brought facts and people to life and connected them beautifully at a pace that allowed us to take in this important city and its amazing history.
I didn’t know there were so many firsts in Liverpool.

What a fantastic experience!
Fran took us on a wonderful stroll around the city and reminded us all that there are stories on every corner. So many tales of lesser known heroes, pivotal historical moments and lovely splashes of local colour. It felt like a little holiday in our own city.
Fran is the perfect host. Funny, so well informed, and she took things at a manageable pace on a baking hot day.
I can't recommend The Livepool Storyteller highly enough. We will be booking again.

Fran D'Arcy's 'Secret Stroll' was fascinating, even for a local who thought she knew her own city. First off, 'secret' always intriguing; 'stroll' well paced to look, listen and absorb. The theme was 'Liverpool Firsts', a great theme for proud Liverpudlians, from the first Wet Dock, to the ventilation shaft, to computers, to Skalli at Liverpool Parish Church, to the momument at Exchange Flags' to our Cilla in Mathew Street and more - go on the stroll to discover. Yesterday I went on a Secret Stroll with a group of friends and family. Some of us have lived in Liverpool for many years, one was returning after a long absence and one was a visitor from London. We all enjoyed the tour and we all learnt things we didn’t know. Fran pitched the information and stories just right for all of us, she was friendly and relaxed while at the same time making sure we were coping with the heat ( it was a very hot day) and keeping safe when crossing roads!

We joined a number of friends for a Liverpool Storyteller walk yesterday. Fran was a charming, amenable guide who was able to share her considerable and detailed knowledge of the famous and less famous landmarks in a relaxed and informative way. We all thoroughly enjoyed the walk and would certainly recommend Fran to visitors to Liverpool and also to local people, who wish to gain a clearer insight into their home city. Thank you Fran, a most enjoyable guided walk and thank you looking after us all, as it was a very hot day.

I booked a secret stroll for Father's Day and it was such a lovely experience. Fran is professional, patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time looking at things from a new perspective and learning stories and facts. Despite having lived here for nearly 20 years, Fran made it feel even more special. I booked a tour as a surprise to celebrate my husband’s special birthday We met with Fran who had taken time to learn about the special places in our 51 years together.

Just finished a wonderfully informative tour with Fran. Gorgeous Saturday afternoon exploring the city and seeing well know sights and locations though learning their hidden histories lesser-known stories. Lovely surprise to receive the email two days before the tour to find out our secret location to meet. Amazing value for money and Fran is super friendly and professional. My favourite part was learning about the Pineapples ;) Thankyou so much and highly recommend!

An unique look at Liverpool with so many interesting things we knew nothing about. Who knew pineapples were like gold dust for the rich! Fran was so entertaining and cannot recommend this tour enough. Looking for something a little different then this is it. Booked for June already . Can't wait
