I order some metal poles and brackets on behalf of the Village Hall from which to hang scenery. The poles and brackets arrived extreamly quickly at a very reasonable price.
Unfortunately, partly through my fault the wrong type of bracket was supplied. On contacting The Metal Store the replacement brackets were sent within 48 hours and supplied free of charge.
I have found their customer service and after sales service excellent and based on my experience would not hesitate in recommending the company.

Products were fine, only issue was the parcel was left out in the rain and the box collapsed when I picked the item up spilling the contents on the floor and narrowly missing my foot and rolling everywhere. Would have been better if the clamps had been in a bag inside the box rather than just packed loose

The material I ordered was delivered within 2 days, everything was exactly as specified and the price was very competitive

Product was great, however do not buy if there is a possibility you may need send back. Even though we purchased replacement items we still had to arrange our own return delivery of the unwanted good and in this time of extortionate delivery costs and over worked courier drivers it was not worth sending the items back as return delivery cost as much as the products themselves. Now left with alot of heavy duty poles and connectors worth nearly £200 and no chance of a refund!!!

I ordered 2" square 3mm mesh panel it arrived quickly with the outer edges well protected. I only needed 2 270mm square panels as I'm making a Red Sqirrell Only feeder. I had to order a 48" x 46" panel which was the smallest amount I could choose, so have quite a lot left. If it's successful I'll be able to make some more.

Dont buy often but when do always good

We ordered a stainless steel splash back for our kitchen, the process of ordering was simple, excellent value for money and the product is better than expected. Really happy with the efficient service and will definitely use again.

I received great service from The Metal Store ordering a load of tubing, joints and accessories to build a large fruit cage. The day after I ordered, I realised I'd missed something off the order, I emailed and they sorted it out straight away with a quick phone call. The order arrived as scheduled, correct and the cut to length tubes were spot on. Very happy with the price too, built the cage for less than buying a kit one and it's much more robust. Couldn't be happier.

I have now used the Metal Store on three separate occasions over a couple of years, most recently for steels of 3m length, I have found each and every delivery highly efficient and incredibly quick (as in ordered on Friday, delivered on Tuesday). There may be courier issues for some customers but the service I have received from them has been excellent.

Unfortunately this is the first time I have dealt with the store and the result is very poor. I chose my order date so I could complete a job and some of the items did not arrive. Apparently they were too big for the van!!!! They intend to deliver them three days later. Rubbish service, if you need your materials don’t use this firm. The firm then blame the couriers they use (well change them if they’re that bad). No thought of the customer whatsoever. Avoid if you have an alternative.

This is a BRILLIANT company to deal with and they would have got 5* but and it is a big BUT they use the most utterly useless courier firm to deliver. DX...I placed a small order and selected a delivery date a week in advance. On the day 2/3 of the delivery arrived I checked on tracking and the rest was scanned at delivery depot..sadly it didn't arrive and then spent TWO HOURS on the phone chasing DX which is a NIGHTMARE company to deal with rude and unhelpful staff. So whilst The Metal Store is GREAT they have lost my business because I will now deal with a local supplier who is more expensive but will deliver next day

This was a great buying experience with everything delivered and better quality than I envisaged, plus a little gift to add the icing on the top - great buying experience.

Bought some pipe and fixings and I am pleased with the service. Fast delivery and everything as ordered. Nice touch with the woolly hat and branded face mask!

Have just taken delivery of my first small order. It arrived promptly and thank you so much for the new customer' keep warm' hat and 'stay safe' facemask I received. The website was easy to use and I particularly like the 'how to' tutorials. Look forward to placing my next order.

Bought some pipe/fittings for a DIY shelving project. The website was simple to navigate and really well priced. The pipe cutting feature was an absolute godsend and I loved how they recognized that it's not just tradies shopping, there are also wanting to do DIY furniture. The guides are so helpful, it's brilliant they offer 'packs' (featuring everything you need to construct certain items) and the blog was great for inspiration.

My order came really quickly, free delivery, and included a hat and mask! Unfortunately I had to size down and return some items. I live close to the store so am able to physically go and return but customer services were really helpful.

Receiving my new order on Weds - delivery to pay for this time but I don't mind when it's literally coming in 2 days!

Brilliant store, will use again and have recommended to my family for their own projects.
