Jeg har brugt "TheOrchard", gennem Danske Digidi, siden 2022, og selve digidi er grundlæggende ordentlig (Bortset fra at de stadig bruger TheOrchard), men Orchard er faldet meget af på den i den senere tid (De sidste 1-2 år)

Orchard har altid været "besværlige" at udgive musik igennem, og tillader ikke ret meget selv-bestemmelse over det man udgiver (Det skal se ud på en bestemt måde, titler må man ikke selv vælge udover hvad de synes er iorden, og den slags)

Så kunstnerisk frihed er ikke ret stor hos dem og man kan tydeligt mærke at man kun er velkommen fordi man betaler for at være der.

Min anmeldelse nu skyldes at de i 2026 er begyndt at tage sange ned de ellers allerede HAR godkendt (Altså sange man har haft liggende i længere tid)

Og den opførsel gør det naturligvis helt Umuligt at basere en musik-karriere på TheOrchard (Fordi man ikke kan stole på at ting der er godkendt forbliver tilgængeligt, men risikerer at blive fjernet helt uden man får noget at vide eller mulighed for at gøre indsigelse)

Og man betaler som sagt for at udgive musik igennem dem, men kan altså ikke længere regne med at de aftaler der er indgået rent faktisk er aftaler man kan stole på.

Jeg tror som sådan ikke at TheOrchard snyder, men når man ikke kan regne med at den musik man får godkendt hos dem i første omgang forbliver godkendt, så kan man jo aldrig stole på at musikken rent faktisk forbliver tilgængelig og kan tjene penge hjem igen.

Så risikoen for at det ender med at blive et én-vejs system (Altså at man betaler til dem, men ikke kan stole på den aftale man indgår når man udgiver musik igennem dem og derfor ikke kan regne med at man har musik tilgængelig når man fortæller sine lyttere om det) gør TheOrchard til et Useriøst valg.

Piece of crap copyright thieves that make false claims on your original music and visuals. Most of my footage is original or from royalty places like Pexels or Unsplash yet they will make false claims on your videos that does not align with the facts, the video in question has a completely different beat and visuals. They don't own anything.

Do not go anywhere near this company. They will say they own all of your creative work and remove it from any platform that you had previously put it on yourself. They removed our bands music from our local radio stations charts and took all our gig footage doen off my YouTube. Ignored my appeal and ignore my emails.
There aim is to put you on Spotify, amazon, iTunes for their monetary gains only. They eill take you away from any comunity space that you place yourself. They are Sony and even though you are not Prince or MJ and will never make millions. They will wanna own your ass anyway just incase you do.

Sent a manual copyright on my latest video. Luckily it’s just a few seconds clip and it has captions. I’m gonna MUTE cause they ain’t getting a PENNY of my hard earned money 😂 Weird, scummy, behavior. That is gonna come right back around to this “company”. Based on the reviews and a little bit of google searching it seems like it already is. What’s crazy is that people resort to cash grabbing off of others like these people. Put in the work like the rest of us, all money ain’t good money. Gross behavior and poor excuse of a “company”

I talked with spotify and they told me they had no problem with me, my profile or my streams and no they did not ask my music to be taken down. But these scammers orchard and their partner Kamapro.de they decided to suddenly make me lose it all and cause of spotify cause they accused me of fake plays to take my music down, I am losing REAL SHORTS OVER 15K MADE BY PEOPLE AND 100K ++++ VIEWS ON YOUTUBE, MY MUSIC WAS GOING VIRAL THESE DAYS. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM WHEN YOU ARE GOING VIRAL THEY WILL CUT YOUR WINGS. THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND NO SPOTIFY DID NOT TELL THEM ANYTHING. SPOTIFY TOLD ME THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH ME AT ALLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCAMMERS GIVE ME MY YOUTUBE MONEY.

I don't have the same truly horrendous experience as anyone here, but it's still scummy. I tried to order a band's album from (what I didn't know at the time was) The Orchard through Bandcamp in March, and as you can probably guess, as of August 25, I have not received my CD. I got zero communications from them, about shipping, delivery notice, anything. They really just took the money and ran. Which really sucks because I specifically wait for Bandcamp Fridays to order anything, to make sure all the money goes to the artist. Instead I just paid some soulless suits. Hell, they might be stealing from that band too...

I'm trying to contact Bandcamp about this since, like everyone else here, they won't reply to me, but there was a notice about a high volume of complaints on Bandcamp's contact form, so maybe I'm not alone.

Multiple times The orchard has target my YouTube channel with false copyright claims after disputing them multiple times they have issued a takedown notice they are obviously violating copyright laws and abusing the system to work in their favour in the next few days I will be composing a Cease and desist letter to them which will be delivered by Email and signed for post demanding they cease their criminal activities or face legal consequences it seems people are also falling victim of their disgusting behaviour however they have met their match nothing shy of thugs

"The Orchard" claims copyright on my original music I composed and recorded together with two very famous Norwegian music artists in Norway back in 1993 (32 years ago!) and my music was even aired back then on Norwegian Television as well. It seems like some shady wannabe artist / scammer took my original music and ilegally copy-paste released it through "The Orchard" and now "The Orchard" claims my music is their copyrighted content. Even tho I have apealed against their copyright claim they refuse to release their claim on my original music. "The Orchard" is stealing music ownership from artists and making fraudulent copyright claims all over the show, and from what I see they are and have been doing it for many years to millions of other music artists like myself. This company needs to be brought to justice and held to accountable in a Court of Law for fraud and their scams need to be punished and exposed asap.

Out of all the "music rights" organisations, this one is toxic. They claim rights without checking with the actual creators, and they ignore any evidence that provided that you have been given permission by the actual creators. Any artist or band who is using this dubious entity is doing themselves a disservice.

This company is just one big SCAM. They claim Id content on youtube and have the cheek to demand a video takedown on an already licenced music. They calim it's their music, but the music in question is often an AI generated sample from youtube it's self that uses other peoples content. They are a third party that tries to sell or monotise unlicensed music. They are not to be trusted at all, and please give the word they are a scam business, with no way to contact them either. In all these cases I have a licence from the copyright holder. But to these scammers it makes no difference. Anyway I have reported them to Youtube and to the copyright holder. And I reccomend you do the same.

Uploading our music with other metadata and don’t care that they violate Youtube’s terms of use otherwise the law. Worst company ever! Acting like bandits and not respecting the applicable worldwide copyright laws. I requested them to remove my music from their catalogue they nor their sub-contractor or label has any deal with me. Total abuse of YouTube management tools shame!

The Orchard fake claims songs that do well and upload them themselves and collects the revenue. And you can't do anything about it. Also you can't contact them, they won't answer. Aweful aweful behaviour!
Someone needs to start a class action lawsuit against them!!! You won't loose this fight with a good lawyer, they are too shady...

My music is stolen and distributed through Orchard by a fraud. I try to contact to take down but zero response. What a disgrace

Acting like bandits on YouTube and falsely, wrongfully, and aggressively claiming copyright ownership of every video they encounter even though they don't own any of the rights to either the music or the video material. They always claim first and think later and try to get away with it by using 'if it works, it works-tactic'.

The Orchard Music Suspended my account with (2000 GBP) showing fake reasons.Never use The Orchard, they scam with me. so, be careful. The Orchard can Suspend or Ban your account any time, so be carefull

I disputed a claim on my video that is about ceiling fans and I did NOT choose to play a music it was played at a restaurant and they decided that the claim is so valid. They just want money, and they do NOT deserve ALL of the money for the work I DID in my video about CEILING FANS. DO NOT play Orchard Music!

They put copyright on my Gotham Knights PT. 2 livestream gameplay on YouTube. They shouldn’t done that.

20 years ago the Orchard was called IRIS and was the place to go for music distribution. As a label I represented a large number of artists and I was proud to be associated with them. Eventually I moved on to other services who had evolved with the times while the Orchard seemed to fade. I tried to end my relationship with them after 10 years but they never quite removed all of the music from distribution. They kept paying me about $50 a month for the following 10 years but a year ago they stopped. And now it's impossible to access their site or reach anyone by email or phone. $600 per year isn't a ton of money but it doesn't belong to them - which doesn't seem to bother them at all. How far the once mighty have fallen!
