The Posher Pig is a catering company who specialise in Hog Roasts. With over 28 years of catering experience, we can offer a range of packages to suit your requirements and budget. Our famous, traditional whole pig hog roast is slow cooked to perfection, from 8-16 hours, depending on the size. Our expert techniques not only allows the meat on the inside to remain succulent and flavoursome, it also leaves us with a crunchy, perfect crackling. The result, an “Oinking Good Hog Roast”.We offer a wide range of sides and extras to make plans for any occasion sensational. Whether it is a wedding, corporate event or private gathering, we can work with you, for your bespoke requirements. Service Not only will you receive a service that is second to none, you will receive it from our highly skilled team of friendly chef’s. Our chefs have a wide range of experience, catering in venues of all sizes, ranging from restaurants to festivals and football grounds. Our chefs can regularly be seen catering for some of our country’s biggest and best football teams, including the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and local favourite, Liverpool F.C. So rest assured, no matter how large or small your venue is, you are in safe hands and we’ve got you covered. We know that planning an event can be very stressful, with there being so many moving parts that all have to come together at once. it can feel very daunting, like you’re spinning plates, treading water, and doing a balancing act all at once. The solution, prior to your special day, one of our team will come out to your venue and go through the planning process with you making sure we dot all the i’s and cross all the t’s. helping ensure that your day is a complete success. The Hog Roast All of our pigs are from local butchers who have themselves sourced their pigs from local free range farms. We only use the U.K’s very own native rare breeds so as to preserve pigs which are in danger of dying out. Our pigs are slow cooked to perfection in our state of the art ovens. The result, a mouth watering juicy, tender, fall off the bone Pulled Pork and perfect Pork Crackling. Barbecues At The Posher Pig we do a variety of different barbecue packages. With the exception of our Speciality German Sausage range all of our meats are sourced locally and come from rare breed, free range, grass fed stock. All of the burgers we do are Half Pounders and are handmade by ourselves and are made from 100% prime cut SteakBeef. SPECIALITY GERMAN SAUSAGES RANGE We also do a wide selection of authentic award-winning German sausages,one foot and two foot long hotdogs. Bringing the finest of Germany’s charcuterie to the U.K. All of our sausages are gluten and filler free and they are all served with the option of onions, sauerkraut, pickled gherkins, German mustards and/or curried ketchup.   All of our packages are bespoke to a customers individual specifications. Pizzas (Coming soon) Soon we will be adding an fantastic new product to our menu. We will be adding a range of Flame Cooked Stone Baked Pizzas to the line up.
