Dan F recently come to do our first service on the heat pump & water tank since moving in and he was friendly and knowledgeable and give us some much needed advice on how to use it in the most affective way! Really happy with the heat pump over all, it’s quiet and saving us much needed £’s!

Thermal Earth installed our Mastertherm GSHP in 2015 and we’ve been very happy with it for over 9 years now. It was quite a complex retrofit, replacing an existing biomass system. The heat pump has kept our house warm whatever the weather, with low running costs. It’s been reliable and the service engineers, most recently Dan F, have been excellent.

We have had a Thermal Earth ground source heat pump for our 200 year old house for 4 years. The support we have received from them during the installation and subsequent annual services has always been 100% professional.
They also installed an air source heat pump for our swimming pool. This has proved to be a very efficient addition.

We’re into our 7th year and our GSHP has always been serviced by Thermal Earth. The heat pump itself has been very reliable, and the engineer is helpful in fine tuning advice to take advantage of cheap rate tariffs. The remainder of the heating system has been pretty good (one pump failure, all the actuators were replaced, one pressure tank failed), and I still dislike the Sauter thermostat/controllers. Booking is now a bit simpler with a standardised rate, but should be proactive by Thermal Earth - as it is we have to coordinate several local users to get a collective rate for the (otherwise very high) mileage charges.

We've just had the 5th service our our ground source heat pump system installed by Thermal Earth. We are very happy with the system, which keeps our house warm and has significantly reduced our bills too. Dan F was the engineer at this visit and we appreciate his professionalism and practical support to optimise the operation of the system. Thermal Earth have been first class in all our interactions and I regularly recommend them to others looking at renewable heating systems.

Our Acond Air Source Heat Pump had its second annual service yesterday. Dan arrived exactly on time, completed the service and various checks, and took the trouble to let us know what he'd found (some ferrous residue in the radiator circuit) and what he'd done about it. Thank you Dan.

In another month or so, it will be the 1st anniversary of the installation of our PV system, with which we are delighted - despite our house's roof ridge running N-S, and our being powered entirely by electricity, we effectively had free power through much of the year and exported a lot to the grid during the summer. It's actually working much better than we expected.

From the initial contact, the team have been very professional and helpful in getting my home ready for an ASHP.
Brilliant advice given in terms of heat losses and radiator upgrades required to provide most efficient running. The survey identified some challenges which were exacerbated when the guys arrived on site but Dan and Tommy were excellent problem solvers and grafters to overcome the issues.
All works completed within 6 working days and now, for the first time ever, our house is comfortable. Used to have endless hot / cold cycling but now it's just a pleasant temperature. The hot water takes some getting used to - just crank the hot all the way open and the bath is perfect. No adding cold water which means no wasted energy!
The unit was mounted on a flat roof extension as simplest route to the cylinder cupboard and, late at night when there's no other noise, there's a gentle humming as the unit is doing it's thing. I find it strangely therapeutic!
Cannot recommend Thermal Earth enough.

An efficient and very helpful engineer who came to do the annual service on a ground source heat pump. Cheerfully answered questions, and did so clearly in terms that a layperson could understand.

I had a Ground Source Heat Pump installed several years ago which requires annual servicing by the company. I always receive a prompt and professional service, but this year Dan did an exceptional job. He took the time to check everything, making adjustments where required. Fantastic service, which I highly recommend.

Great training course on the Acond and Mastertherm products delivered by Anthony from Thermal Earth. He was informative and able to cover off what was necessary but also happy to answer our many questions. His additional experience of the heat pump market was extremely informative and it was great to meet like minded people who had also stood the test of time in our industry. We are looking forward to developing an ongoing and long term partnership with the whole team.

My new build project had some bumps along the way but the installation of a ground source heat pump, and solar thermal was never going to be straightforward. This was in 2018, and both installations continue to perform well and are now 6 years on. A recent leak on the solar thermal was attended to by Daniel and the remote monitoring identified an alarm on the external temperature sensor, which was also quickly fixed.

2 PV systems and 3 large pellet boilers fitted.
Great product. Great service.
Wouldn’t hesitate to use in the future.
