The owner shows himself as very helpful and kind, guiding me through the various tastes.
I tried the Classic version, and i got a generous portion with a good balance of the ingredients. The taste reflect perfectly my first impression: the flavors of coffee and mascarpone came through clearly, yet no flavor overpowered the others. It was one of the best tiramisù i've ever had, definitely something to buy again.

Ho provato il tiramisù di Giovanni per il compleanno di mia nipote. È stato il miglior dessert che abbia mai assaggiato, non è rimasta nemmeno una fetta da portare via. Ottima la crema, perfettamente bilanciata.

That is how I would describe my experience of the Limoncello Tiramisu I had recently tried.

Zesty, sweet and perfectly creamy with a delicate kick. These tiramisu’s are simply delicious. Each time I visit Shoreditch, I must pop into The Truman Brewery and see Giovanni and I sincerely suggest that you do too 🙂 Let’s invite a bit of Sicilian summer into these winter nights.
