I had a really good experience working with Theodore Walter at The Web Factory. I came into this with basically no experience building a website, and he took the time to walk me through the process so I could actually understand what was going on instead of just feeling lost.

Theodore was always straightforward, quick to respond, and kept things moving. He got my site put together much faster than I expected and helped give me the confidence that I’ll be able to keep building on it in the future.

If you’re new to websites like I am and want someone who’s patient, professional, and easy to work with, I’d definitely recommend Theodore Walter and The Web Factory.

I want to share my personal experience with The Web Factory so others can make informed decisions before choosing to work with or for them.

I achieved my assigned targets while working with the company, but due to a serious personal issue I had to leave after informing management properly. I was assured that my pending salary would be released, however I have not received the payment despite those commitments.

Based on my experience, I found the process and communication around payment very disappointing and unprofessional. I would strongly advise anyone considering working with this company to clarify payment terms in writing beforehand and proceed with caution.

This is only my personal experience, but I felt it was important to share.

Transformational Web Design & Marketing Expertise

We partnered with The Web Factory to breathe new life into our outdated website and logo — and the transformation has been nothing short of remarkable. Their design team delivered a modern, eye-catching brand identity, while their developers built a lightning-fast, mobile-friendly site that works perfectly on every device.

What truly impressed us was their marketing team — they didn’t just tweak our SEO and ads, they engineered a strategy that actually delivers conversions. Communication was flawless from day one, with regular updates and genuine care for our success.

I worked with The Web Factory from May 12th to around June 16th, and sadly, I was never paid for May or June.

Despite multiple follow-ups, I kept receiving the same repetitive excuses, and now I’m being completely ignored. This has been deeply disappointing and reflects a serious lack of professionalism.

If this is how they treat people who dedicate time and effort, it raises questions about how they might treat clients too.

Be cautious before getting involved with them, whether as a client or a potential hire.

If I could go lower, I would. They lured me in with discounts on social media advertising and website management offers. They spoke savvy and made themselves accessible for dialogue regarding concerns that they'd half-heartedly handle. They offered to establish my trademark to sell merch, taking advantage of my ignorance and charging $8,000 for what is customarily less than $3,000. And they did it all with a smile on their faces. DO NOT TRUST THE HONEY! THEY ARE NOT HONEST!
Most recently, the website they are hosting for me, and charging me for anti-hack software, has been hacked several times by some German Casino and Escort service. They claimed several times they were going to handle it and the site is still hacked. They told me I needed to change my nameserver. I told them when I researched doing that it said to beware that I could lose my whole website. THEY (One of their foreign reps with a south Asian accent) said, "Don't worry. That is what it always says but we have to bypass this phase to free your site of hackers. So, like a fool, I took their word for it and my website is down. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I'm out thousands of dollars from sheer ignorance and not seeing this group is all about short-term satisfaction to make a buck.

Don't waste your time or your money. Completely unprofessional and took 2 months to complete a website that should have been completed in 2 weeks. My website went LIVE with ERRORS to this very date. I provided all of the content AND the images. Still I had to walk them through the layout step by step. Missed multiple deadlines. Links didn't work, stretched pictures, missing digital forms, changes were made without my consent, constant revisions. The list goes on and I have the emails to prove it.

I still don't have the original files for my logo. I was provided with a jpeg, which is a picture. The website still presents incorrectly and I'm having to spare the expense yet again to pay someone else to fix it. I repeatedly asked for a refund. That request was ignored. They offered me 1 year of free hosting for my troubles if I would allow them to work on it a bit longer. I declined, and when I disputed the charges on PayPal they are choosing to fight to keep my money even though they ADMITTED to everything that has transpired throughtout this process and the final product remains with errors for me to fix. If I could give zero stars I would. Look elsewhere, their design team IS NOT up to standard. I'm a small business owner, non profit organization...and I'm basically being bullied because I asked for my money back. NOT OKAY!
The only positive was the initial coordinator named Steven. I would give him 5 stars independently. He did the best he could to help me through this process. However, he is not on the design team and he doesn't run the company. The people who are in charge should be ashamed of themselves. For some reason, they think just because they gave me something 2 MONTHS LATER that it should be good enough, even if it's not correct.

In a way, I'm a bit concerned that they will attempt retaliate against me by posting bad reviews on my business because I reviewed theirs. I guess that's a risk i'm willing to take. I lost an opportunity to apply for grant funding with another organization due to consistent delays. But right is right..wrong is COMPLETELY WRONG. No one in their right mind would take the time to write a review this long if I wasn't completely telling the truth.

I got my logo design for my business, they delivered me the exact logo that I wanted for my business.

Steven has been the best, very helpful at getting my logo, shirts, car door magnets, and now working on design of work orders. Back and forth communication excellent. When ever I need something for my business I will definitely give him a call.

Best choice I could have gone with. Great customer service , fast response. Definitely will use again for future projects. Jason is the best .

Steven was very helpful and always there to help out where and when needed so a big thank you to Steven. I gave it a 4/5 stars because the designers started making edits on my live site and I feel there were unnecessary, time consuming, things that happened because of the designers. The website was finished and looked great but there were spelling mistakes throughout the site that I had to adjust.
