I found the flavours to be very weak. A stark contrast to the beef jerky you would buy in a shop.

Your description is absolutely spot on with our flavours, we deliberately aim to add only a hint of flavour to range as we don't want to mask the flavour of the meat. Many brands aim to over power the meat by add lots of sugar and flavours whilst we do our best to ensure don't add anything unnecessary or cheap ingredients .Totally appreciate we can't hit the spot with all our customers it's a simply fact about what we do. As you can see from the reviews on here we don't miss very often
Please remember as well we only produce Biltong and not Jerky two very different products that may be why you have found a different experience to what you normally buy in a shop.

I bought 2 bags of the off cuts
I bought 2 bags of the off cuts. £10 a bag, which is a saving of £4 over the normal bags. I do rate the normal biltong, but this was terrible. 40% just chunks of fat/no meat. 40% none could chew. I appreciate its cheaper, but really not worth the cost.
Update: I dont seek/need a refund, and my original review is based on the product received, so I am unsure what the purpose of the call would be.
The above review was submitted via the only email from you requesting and highlighting the importance of feedback(good, bad, or otherwise), via Trustpilot. Ive stated that most of pack couldn't be chewed/eaten or was just fat. That isnt what you describe "Think of it as the 'wonky veg' of the biltong world - perfectly good, just not perfectly shaped!". The shape isnt the issue.
Anyone who has tried your normal biltong knows its spot on, and I genuinely rate it, but if the off cuts cant be chewed or are just soft fat then the description hasn't matched the product I received.

You have left us a little confused by this this, you have described perfectly what the off cuts are designed to be. As the product description says "Think Wonky Veg but of the Biltong world!" and "Varied textures: Mix of thick and thin pieces, lean and marbled cuts anything that doesn't make the grade for our regular packs." and "Biltong Off Cuts are the perfectly imperfect pieces left over from our premium slicing process" We are not sure how else we could describe what Biltong off cuts are?
So we cant disagree with what you have written about what they are but left scratching our heads on why a review of this nature has been left, when you have received and descried perfectly what you ordered.
We have tried to call but we received no answer.
As a small family business its important we offer fabulous customer service however this was the first notice we have had about you not being happy with your purchase there fore not giving us the opportunity to address the issue you appear to have.

Good experience, bought as a gift. Checkout was confused and changed the delivery address, but I emailed and customer service corrected the error quickly and the parcel went to correct address and quickly. Product biltong very nice will buy again. Thank you

My favourite SA food supplier.
The biltong was delicious with a delicate mild flavour. So glad to have found a supplier of Freshpak Rooibos tea. Everything was well within the use by date. I'm already planning my next order. Very quick delivery, too.
