I’ve just had nine individual windows, a three-part bay window and a new back door installed by Thexton's this week.

Despite being a couple of team members down due to illness, John and the rest of the fitting team did an incredible job from start to finish.

My house isn’t the easiest property to work in, being spread over three floors connected by two very steep flights of stairs. Nevertheless, they simply got on with the job.

The attention to detail and the high standards throughout the installation, led by John, have been outstanding.

Although the initial part of the costing process took a lot longer than expected, (despite a promptly organised and extremely thorough survey and measurement appointment carried out by John), it was approximately six weeks before I received the quote and was able to finalise the order.

However, once the order was placed, the windows were manufactured remarkably quickly, and Thexton's went above and beyond to fit us into their schedule to meet my deadline for other external work before the end of September.

I’m absolutely thrilled with the finished result. The installation is excellent, and the quality of both the windows and the opening mechanisms is top-notch.

Whatever John is being paid, it isn’t enough. His work ethic is incredible and he never seems to stop.

One word of warning, though: if these guys tell you they’ll be with you early, they really mean it. I can’t remember the last time a contractor arrived at 7.15am and started work immediately!

Cost-wise, Thexton's weren’t the cheapest quote I received, but they certainly weren’t the most expensive either.

I’m so glad I persevered with chasing the quote, because the end result has been more than worth it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Professional polite experienced hard working. Definitely recommend this company to anyone who requires construction and ground works. Had the beginning of subsidence work carried out in the sewer outside. Health and safety measures they put in place where unquestionable The lads had a hard job and the results are absolutely brilliant. They worked through the rain and never stopped. Mike and two other employees (sorry can't remember your names) were knowledgeable about the job and Mike was able to answer any questions I had. Simon the Manager over the lads is extremely helpful and friendly and efficient and helpful was able to answer my questions. Thankyou Thextons ! Might have the wrong date of works!?

Full home, new windows, french doors, front door and porch doors. Really reasonable price and the lads were brill. Nothing too much trouble for Tom or John. Would 100% recommend.

We are extremely pleased with our beautiful new front door. We have had a couple of issues, but Thextons quickly remedied the problem.

Having looked at the company website we had an idea to what door we would like which made our initial appointment run smoothly. The quotation was received by email and our queries answered very promptly.

The installation was professionally carried out, removing all debris and cleaning down the door and door furniture on completion.
