Really is not value for money. We had food here and the portions were not good for the price. The children’s chicken was more like pork scratching the batter so thick there was hardly any chicken in it and the chips were seasoned with salt pepper and paprika and should have been unseasoned. Members of our party had the Caesar salad and it was very small for the price. I had the pulled pork it was dry and there were large pieces which were burnt and hard the best bit was the barbecue beans of which there was a small amount. The coleslaw wasn’t cole slaw it was just red cabbage cut up with no mayonnaise. Not much food not very tasty and overpriced for the money. It’s typical businesses such as these cry all the time we are hard up can’t pay wages but the fact is half the time they overcharge for very poor food and don’t deserve to survive.

Our grandchildren’s food was very overcooked. Their chicken burger and chicken strips looked like pork scratchings!!! The chicken was non-existent. The chips were seasoned which the children didn’t like.
The bacon and chicken ceaser salad was extremely small for the money with very little chicken in it.
All in all it was very disappointing and not worth the money.

​My experience at The Three Wise Monkeys was fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere is top-notch—a perfect mix of cosy and vibrant. The team behind the bar are absolute legends, genuinely friendly and always ready with a great recommendation.
​The beer selection is awesome , seriously, some of the best craft beers I've had in a long time, and the food menu is just as good. I had one of the pizzas, and it was delicious.
​It's the kind of pub that just gets everything right. If you're in Colchester and looking for a great night out with amazing food and drink, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be back.

How very poor, I arranged for my daughter to visit twm today. The gin bar closed because some cocktail making event. Only one person serving behind the bar. My daughter is so dissapointed and I feel robbed by the twm

Our Last visit to 3WM was Very disappointing.
9 of us turned up around 1 to a half empty venue looking for food and drink.
The reason why it was half empty on a very busy Saturday afternoon in town?

Because most of the tables had be revised but for silly times like 3pm, two hrs from when we turned up but yet we still couldn't all set and eat.
Totally ridiculous, the venue would of been full to the brim if it wasn't for all the table blocking.
Why they allow table reserving for this long on a Saturday afternoon is quite frankly idiotic.

The amount of revenue lost with people walking in and straight back out over to a packed Remano lounge...... More fool you 3WM.
We certainly wont be returning in the future not when other venues are happy to serve you.
