Tilia Creations Reviews

Excellent table legs. Sturdy, well packaged and exactly what I was looking for. Some issues with delivery but the company was good at communicating with updates and this was not their fault. I’ll be ordering again in the future, thank you

We started looking at dining tables in various retailers but quite frankly, the quality of even the highest priced products was shocking. All mass produced with enormous markups. I was pleased to find Tilia, which allowed us to have exactly what we wanted and at a reasonable price, combining a base that was colour matched to our windows, paired with the same quartz top in our kitchen. Once the quartz cost is factored in, I expect the total cost will be what we would have paid at a large retailer for a table of a similar size but what we have is something of the highest quality, great design and exactly what we wanted. The base is fantastic and it was packed/protected exceptionally well for travel. It must have taken sometime to wrap it. Thank you!

P.S. I have just edited this review after seeing a 3* review from a customer named Owen. Please see below:

Owen, having my own business, I understand the importance of reviews. It's a shame that you have given a 3 star review to this company when their product is so good and they are trying really hard. All other reviews are 5 star at the time of me leaving mine. I hope you contacted Tilia to ask them about your issue first! When I was liaising with Mike I asked for his advice and he told me to select the ply option so that the quartz can be attached to the ply rather than the metal base. That way if I ever need to replace the top, all I have to do is unscrew the ply. With the experience I've had with quartz in our kitchen, I wouldn't be surprised if I need to (don't let anyone tell you that quartz doesn't stain... the resin certainly can). On my table the ply is attached with 8 screws, 4 on each side.

A well fabricated table base and ideal for supporting my quartz top. Only minor issue was that only 4 connection holes provided to fasten to the table top, in contrast to the 10 shown on the website photo and referenced in the description. Had to drill the additional holes myself.

Fantastic service, friendly, professional, personable.
Exceeded all expectations. I would be more than happy to recommend services from Tilia Creations.

I was really happy with the customer service - very helpful and receptive to questions, I felt I received a timely and personal service. Product arrived when expected and the table base is perfect. Only one I could find online for a 250kg granite top table and I love it!

Great service and a good quality product. Thank You.

Absolutely a pleasure to deal with an old school company where you get treated superbly and no problems at any stage.

Really pleased with the quality on the frame. No hesitation in recommending

A great table base great communication and delivery.

The breakfast bar framework was exactly what I was looking for and has totally met my expectation.
Thanks.

I must say, this experience with Tilia Creations was effortless...it did take me a while to decide, as the choice and possible colour choice was endless. Once I did, and spoke to Mike, I felt reassured that the one I finally chose would take the weight of my slate top..and it arrived way before it was due, and I’m thrilled! With the measured ply support top added, I can safely say that my slate is totally protected!
I would thoroughly recommend Tilia to anyone that wants a quality piece..

Good quality product, delivery was earlier than expected, soooo in love with my new dinning table. 👍

Hi !
First time I've been in contact with Mike BATEMAN was 17th of November last year via the chatbox of his website. I was inspired by his ANKI A Shape table legs but with a customization of them. Mike has been so patient with me and very professional to help me in my dining table project. We agreed on the shape. I forwarded him a drawing of what I exactely wanted to have. After several mails, I ordered the realization of "my" table legs 2 days before Christmas. To be honest, I was not so confident than that to pay before cause we're used to see all and everything on the net... Mike was always in contact with me via mails.
As earlier announced by Mike, Tilia was closed for the last week of year 2020. 7th of January, my order began to be processed. A week after I received the confirmation of the transport order. I'm living in France. Table legs were delivered yesterday 22th of January. I must admit and confirme the high quality of realization, in accordance to what we agreed Mike and I. As confirmed to Mike, well done and safely packages as well. I really recommand Mike and TILIA. I could have searched for a French supplier for my project but really I'm not disappointed at all. It was a so good experience, I can only recommand Mike BATEMAN and TILIA. Do not hesitate !
@Mike : don't hesitate to add my customized A shape table legs to your online shop.
And finally, I'm really proud to be the first customer to let a kind comment here.
Take care of you and enjoy !
