The worst company ever, they never call you back, takes an age to get through to them. They send pointless letters before things have been double-checked. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

What an unbelievably shocking poor experience with these clowns. They have no clue what they are doing, so unprofessional. As well as poor service my private data has been breached by these clowns - GDPR doesn’t seem to apply to them!

Never ever use this company they are holding 70k of our money and have been for 8 weeks post house sale .. when we call its sent to a merry go round of different call centres .. followed by lies and to be honest talking in riddles

Infuriating and the customer service is terrible .. one point we are told to speak to surplus team.. next thing there is no such team and it goes on and on and on .. we even googled the directors number and he also palmed us off

Barclays are using this law firm to try and deal with a recent screw-up they made. They deleted the charges they had on mortgages that were coming up to maturity without them being paid off.
I cannot get a remortgage until they have reinstated the charge on the property. Barclays went to court and eventually got the charge reinstated.
My remortgage offer has been extended 3 times while we wait for TLT to answer my solicitors' emails, and the valuation we had done expires at the end of the month.
STEER CLEAR of these incompetents!

AVOID - I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE

This firm is an absolute shower of s**t, in the process to purchasing my first home, my conveyancers have had to constantly go back to TLT to get more and more documents ready for reports and exchange. The property has no chain either side, and has now taken 4 whole months to reach the point of being able to exchange - TLT have not been responding to the sellers, the estate agents, or our solicitors about enquiries, and now will not get back in touch with regards to exchange now that everyone is ready for this to be complete.

AVOID THIS FIRM AT ALL COSTS WHEN SELLING OR PURCHASING A PROPERTY

Trust me, avoid this law firm at all costs. Quite honestly, I would not trust them to run a bath, let alone any legal matter. I would never deal with them again, even if you paid me... beyond shocking.

This company are acting for the Mortgagee in Possession of a property we are trying to purchase. They do not appear to understand that if you are buying a property from a Mortgagee in Possession you need to give an Undertaking the mortgage will be paid off or you use a TR2 instead of a TR1. Instead they provide an internal email saying that the mortgage company expect the shortfall to be paid off and expect us to complete on this. Words fail me. I am not a conveyancer but I know that this is not acceptable practice.

I would never ever use this firm for house conveyancing, they are useless. We bought a house at auction that was very straight forward. we should have completed in 4 weeks but instead it took 5 months!! We had a series of different contacts, none of them got back to our solicitor and none knew what the previous one had been doing. I could go on but looking at the other reviews it's all been said before and clearly no one is listening.

What the useless service? No answer phone calls. No reply emails. No answer their voicemail messages !!! And after all of this and after many days trying then you will talk to someone and then they tell the wrong details between me and my lender !

TLT Solicitors working for Barclays Bank and in Birmingham County Court are the absolute opposite of your guidelines, to be honest, trustworthy and transparent and it seems TLT makes it impossible for anyone in Barclays who might try to help!!

Reported TLT to SRA for saying they haven’t received documents when they have (signed for) and also referring to documents in court when they’ve said they haven’t received them. Apparently contrived conversations with the judge prior to hearing because judge saying she had no knowledge of documents then refers to them in a different context. It was like listening to a badly rehearsed double act!
Lying in court, sending out documents last minute (received Friday when hearing on Monday) so opposition has no time to deal with them, applying to strike out defence when it gets too near the truth saying that it’s ‘nonsensical’ ‘has no merit’ ‘ no reasonable grounds’ which is their opinion until all the defence has been heard by a judge, sending documents to wrong address, not complying with court orders, sending emails when told that the recipient cannot access them and their barrister saying in court that she was told to email documents but the barrister hadn’t emailed them (lying in court). IMO they have no conscience, no thought for how this can impact someone’s life and it’s all about winning at whatever the cost

TLT have a STANDARD "how to screw the homeowner" script they run from. They lie (Lauren Dawson & Roisin McGlinn) to the court, they deliver the wrong documents to court to delay proceedings, say they haven't received documents (same reason) they colluded with judges to strike out stuff they don't like, or when you start getting too close to the truth, and they deliver documents the day before a hearing, or say they have when they haven't delivered at all, failing that, they are happy to forge documents or signatures, alter dates on documents and repeatedly fail to comply with court orders. The ONLY way this bunch of want-wits can win in repossessions is by LYING to the court. ALL of them should be struck off. Price gouging, unjust enrichment, and a SERIOUS ethics problem. ALWAYS report them to the SRA and make a fraud report to the police. Claim losses on their indemnity insurance as if you can 100% prove they lied in your case, THEY are liable for your losses.

we have reported TLT LLP to both SRA and HMRC.. We actually question the full legitimacy of TLT LLP altogether. if you look at the profile those who call themselves , senior partners, or Senior Associate, we have difficulties to believe that they are fully qualified.

Supposed to handling the sale of a flat for Santander Bank - my niece is buying it - it has been going on since October last year and the incompetence is unbelievable - they have pushed back the completion date 3 times due to incomplete paperwork - unbelievable - it must be costing Santander a fortune. I hope they can get some recompense. Forgot to add - this was a repossession by Santander and my niece is a first time buyer, so no chain.

This firm act for Lloyds Bank in the banks refusal to release money of my deceased mother to me despite me being the executor of my mothers will. I have had to report the solicitor at the firm who is acting for Lloyds as she had failed to notify the SRA of her up to date practising details and that resulted in the SRA forcing her to register those details with her. She then wrote to me purporting to rely upon what she stated were various requirements of the bank before they could release the money. When I asked her for copies of those bank requirements she then proceeded to obstruct by stating she would provide them to me in due course and nearly 2 months later she had not provided either; I have therefore lodged a complaint against TLT and Lloyds Bank with the Information Commissioners Office as I made a request for the information around 2 months ago and the statutory time limit under the Data Protection Act to comply with such requests is a calendar month.

This firm is scammer. Repeatedly re-possessed unfair proceedings my property to earn money by being crooked.

I studied Higher National Diploma in Law, St. Patrick International college,London. I am represented number of case all area of civil and criminal defence 95% cases settled out of Courts settlement all the work I undertook non profitable in interest of fair Justices.
Circumstances:
I have got repayment Mortgage with Barclays. (a) main Mortgage (b) additional borrowing (c) Mortgage current account overdraft.
2019 I was not in position to pay my mortgage for approximately 4 months due to unfortunate significant charge.
Barclays instructed this scammer Solictor firm.
Findings:
I acknowledged a letter of this scammer to respond within 5 days.
I acknowledged later 3 days later by normal Royal Mail post. I contacted the scammer I have got full intentions to settle this mater l am proposed pay the arrears. I also contracted Barclays and reached a agreement of settlement within 5 days of notice.
In interest of some money the scammer file the re-processed proceedings, I acted according to time limitations 5 days, scammer claimed I didn’t contact them. I proved duration of call and call records scammer application to Court case to discontinue. Earned money and unfair court fees been added.
Recently, I acknowledged a normal Royal Mail letter emphasised, we filled the case to court to re-processed my property because of exceed the mortgage current account agreed overdraft limit.
I contacted Barclays why they didn’t call me email, or send letter by post.
They claimed, they sent the file to scammer since October 2022, they should follow the correct procedures.
I have reach an agreement of settlement directly with Barclays, same day Barclays email the scammer confirmed of agreement of settlement but, scammer continuously earnings money by sending notice to the occupants and confirmed hearing date and earnings money. I believe scammer will prepare witnesses statements and skeleton arrangements so can earn money.
I am not complaining to SRA because they earn money from the Solictors Firm they never bring fair to the innocent victim like me and you simply wast of time. Outcome will be extremely disappointed and deeply distressed.
Conclusions:
I will maintain the procedures prior to pursue a claim against scammer if unsatisfactory then I will pursue a claim against the scammer.
If you are victim of the scammer, you are allowed to pursue a claim against the scammer legal time limitations act 1980. Please check when you become victim and seek legal advice for time limitations to pursue a claim against scammer. Pursuant to S,69 of the Court Court Act 1984 you are entitled to add 8% interest.
Please fight for your rights they can’t buy Judges. Judges are independent Court run by their own motions.
SRA should of suspend the Mafias license after reading the negative victim reviews they simply doesn’t bother about victim reviews in interest of getting registration fees.
The doesn’t deserve 1 star if victims don’t tick star they cannot participate. SRA and other legal practitioners don’t play with innocent peoples you wouldn’t know the pain we sustain just you wanted to earn some money by misleading.

I have tried to pay a dept in full, after one week and 6 phone calls and broken promises, to call back with a settlement figure so that I could pay in full, NOTHING , I would hate to be a company trying to recover any money owed, clients calling every day to pay back dept and being completely ignored.

TLT have been on the panel of two separate lenders that I have recently used to finance and refinance two separate properties in the past 5 months and were painful to deal with on both occasions, causing unnecessary stress and delay.

The system is broken whereby a lender uses a firm who the customer has to pay (upfront) for, yet is not that solicitor's client.
With payment in advance there is little to no duty of care, communication or time sensitivity.

TLT have been inadequate on both occasions and I'd advise strongly against dealing with them, or any company or individual that does.

Appalling.

Works on behalf of clients who breaches settlement agreements.

Advise they will chase up urgently and respond yet heard nothing. Was impressed by how quick the initial queries were handled however a huge shame no after service once they've got what they want from you.
