Takes months to get delivery..

LYING AND DISHONEST COMPANY

Experience with TobyDeals was absolute nightmare, which lasted for several months. They keep lying, ignoring, postponing and lying again. "Thieves" is the only word I have for them.

Ordered sigma 150-600 Nikon fit lens advertised £1097.paid via PayPal thank god. Notification of invoice said not in stock maybe Christmas. Emailed Toby X2 no response 3 weeks later I tell PayPal 2days later refund. I would not buy anything from this company. Beware.

Simply Terrible! AVOID

Wasn’t overly happy that it wasn’t clear that this is a HK distributer and waited 10 working days for delivery. Was concerned reading the reviews on here and against all odds after poor communication and a rather disappointing tracking system I received my item. Worth mentioning that once Hermes had the item and it was in the UK I was 100% informed.

Really pleased and impressed by Toby Deals. Saved over £100 on UK price on this camera! Arrived safely by DPD in about 10 days and I was kept informed throughout. Will use again!

I had to give them 1 star otherwise it wouldn’t let me write a review personally I wouldn’t give them any stars non nothing nada they must be 1 of the most un trustworthy website I ordered a £129 mobile phone,all I got was a ripped open package,the instructions the chargers he cover all there but no phone!!!!!!!! I got in contact with them immediately,what a complete waste of my time,I must have sent them over 50 emails,they had the cheek to say I should have upgraded my delivery package, now they tell me this,DO NOT USE TOBY DEALS UK they are a bunch of bandits

Do not buy anything from this website. They don't have any sort of customer service. there is no way to contact them. If you email them you will get a reply after a month. pay little extra and buy from seller who is UK based. This company is based abroad.

On 3rd December 2020 I placed an order for an iPad 10.2 from Toby Deals UK, as a Christmas present for my wife, an item that was listed as "In Stock". As the site was Toby Deals UK I made the assumption the business and Item was UK based. With the item being listed as "In Stock" I made the assumption the turn around would be quite quick. In the business's defense there is no mention of delivery time on the site. Payment was made and taken from my Paypal account. I received an email confirming the order. Then nothing. I emailed their email address three times requesting update and ETA, no reply. Weeks went by and nothing. After Christmas I emailed to say I would be raising a dispute with Paypal to get a refund as had lost faith in business. I received a reply very quickly to say there was a delay and item was due in to stock on 6th Jan. 6th Jan came and went, on 10th Jan received email saying, "I am very happy to inform you that your order is currently being packed in our warehouse.
Steady hands are currently preparing it for shipment and ensuring your parcel is provided with the right shipping labels". Finally today 25th Jan received item YIPEE!!!! However the Item has a Chinese plug and cable, there is an adapter but I will have to buy UK cable and plug now so all savings will go on them.
Conclusion Toby Deals should be both more accurate about the supply of items, and information on service plus a more responsive to their customers. Yes there is money to be saved on the items sold, but the stress of not knowing where you are and if the item will ever arrive is not worth the saving. If however you are happy to wait nearly 2 months for you item then click away. I don't think I'll use this site again.

AVIOD AVOID AVOID !Its over 2 months now since ordering my sons xmas present (nintendo switch) and nothing but lies and false tracking numbers from this company to con paypal into believing that they actually sending the product but nothing ever arrives. At this point im just trying to get my money back from paypal which seems to be a challenge in itself ! never again !

I have bought SONY WH1000XM4 at £237.99 with TobyDeals and they have arrived THREE weeks later from Hong Kong in terribly damaged condition with Royal Mail plastic bag wrapped around original packaging saying "Item damaged before arrival in UK". I provided plenty of photo evidence but they also demanded a video (keep in mind!), which I also provided. TobyDeals first said I have to send the headphones back before I get money...and that they would NOT reimburse/cover shipping costs. Then, when I provided tracking Nr, they said they have to receive the goods and inspect them before they return the money. Then they said they have to open a case with PayPal because...the headphones arrived damaged to them (exactly same damage I got the headphone with). Now I am dealing with PayPal, Citizen Advice, Consumer International and might need to go to court. Point being - AVOID TOBYDEALS AT ALL COSTS! These savings are not worth the time and nerves. THEY ARE LITERALLY THE WORST SELLER I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IN FEW DECADES!

I have used TobyDeals a few times now and I find them exceptional value and the service is excellent.

Total scam - avoid at all cost!!

I must speak as I find it. I purchased a £110 lens saving £50 on u.k. prices. O.K. the communication was a little lacking and timing exaggerated, but remember this is a Hong Kong company not next-day Amazon that we are all brainwashed to expect these days. Be patient. The tracking was spot-on with DFS emailing a delivery date and time. Overall it was delivered about a week later than anticipated but arrived well packaged and as advertised. Repeat - BE PATIENT -, it was well worth the savings.

My son bought a gaming mouse with all his birthday money. Ordered on 30th Dec, got a dispatch email the next day but the tracking link never worked. Followed up and got another dispatch email on the 11th with a Royal Mail tracking link dated 8th jan saying they are waiting to receive the parcel from the supplier. 1 email later telling me it’s on its way but nearly 4 weeks after buying it it’s not here nor is the link showing any update since 8th Jan. emails take 2-4 days to be replied to. Maybe it’s brexit or Corona but if you need something in less than a month avoid. If it turns up remains to be seen.
