Terrible customer service. Purchased a tent a few months ago, ripped on first use, no storms or anything crazy. Torpedo 7 wont answer my emails

I've never managed to buy anything
I've never managed to buy anything from Torpedo7. Three times over the space of the last couple of years I've tried - three times over the last couple of years my two delivery orders and one click and collect has vanished into the ether. There's no excuse for having an item in stock and then telling people there'll be a 26 day delay on going to the store and picking it up.
This is supposed to be a Warehouse company. It's a borderline scam.
Terrible System and Terrible Service
Ordered a paddle board in store and was told it would arrive within 10 days. After the 10 days went by with no contact tried to phone but waited for over 20 mins each time and had to hang up. Went through online help twice to be told twice that someone would ring me and never got called. Finally went instore after waiting for a month to be told that the paddle board is sold out. Terrible system and terrible customer service will never by from Torpedo7 again
Worse online vendor I have ever struck
I am sad that I actually have to give them a star at all. I wish I had checked this sit out before ordering a Christmas present at the beginning of December. Their website said I would get a discount and reduced courier cost if I signed up for emails and opened an account, it said delivery could take 10 day currently the statis is pending, i.e they haven't even processed the order. No one answers the phone at customer service and emails just get a "We will reply in 24 -48 hours but they don't. DO NOT USE TORPEDO

Terrible customer service if you can even get hold of anyone. An order I did online has still never been dispatched after 1 month and a week. Cant get hold of anyone - when I finally did, it still is unsolved and back to square one cant get hold of anyone.
DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THIS IS THE WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD.
Not a great experience from the get go
Not a great experience from the get go. First tried several times to check stock with the store and couldn’t get through. Decided to click and collect as the site indicated stock. After a few days, I tried to contact the customer line and the wait was approx 90 mins. Went online with available online person. They mentioned I could cancel as there was 1 in stock in nearest store but potentially worth waiting as it had already been dispatched. Waited another 12 days for a small item and tried again on phone- very long wait time. Spoke to someone again who assured there was 1 in my nearest store and cancelled my order. Drove 40 mins to store and staff says the stock take was put in error. Not very helpful either considering my attempts to resolve the problem. Went back online and staff online said they could not reverse the order despite them indicating there was stock available. I gave feedback on all the issues I faced and poor customer service and I got a sarcastic ‘ merry Christmas’ response instead of a staff member even remotely trying to address complaints. I don’t even have a record I will be refunded. The next day I was able to purchase the same item without issues from another supplier. Not shopping here again.

I was overcharged for a purchase, due to a mistake by the store assistant. It meant I was charged twice. Trying to get my money back has been a nightmare. The store agree they made the mistake but said I need to deal with customer services. Customer services never reply to emails, and the ‘wait time’ to speak with them varies from 20 mins to 30 mins. When you do get thru they say to leave it with them and they’ll look into it. They are such a nightmare, it makes you wonder how they exist. I’ll never purchase from them again

Why advertise massive sales before xmas if you cant even deliver on the sale putting a blanket delay on everything.
Been waiting 3 weeks for a sleeping bag before xmas and its still pending. Is this classed as a Large item under the 25 day delay?

Lots of stuff…but do nothing well
Classic example of a store selling lots of things…but doing nothing well.
A simple store transfer of a jacket from Nelson to Chch which should be overnight in our tiny country, is turning into a two month nightmare. The staff member at T7 Northlink (Chch) said they have over 200 unfilled orders. Wow. Either get more efficient, reduce your SKU’s or hire more staff. Or just operate like a decent business.

Terrible experience, order was cancelled and no communication only queried due to credit on my card. Disappointed child for Christmas. Offered a $50 online voucher so ordered a helmet click and collect but now 2 weeks. Disgraceful. No accountability.
False advertising, no customer service
Never ever go back to Torpedo 7. Paid for a gym weight bench for my son's birthday, received 2 confirmation emails, then went in store and was told they cancelled my order. Then the manager said it wasnt cancelled! Then a week later the same manager had no idea where it was or when we would receive it. The staff said the website isn't to be relied upon. Not sure how a retailer this size can still be in business.

False communication / horrific customer service
Purchased an item in Oct. Their call centre message said they were going through a 'system change' and it would take 10 days to dispatch. Ordered something 10 days ago, still same message. Reading through the reviews, they've been going through a 'system change' for the last 4 years at least. VERY deceptive company and horrific customer service. Shop elsewhere!

I wish 0 star was possible. This company is practically a scam.
I have now been waiting 7 weeks for a treadmill warranty they clearly had no intention whatsoever of following up on. Took 7 emails and 4 phone calls just to get a tech to come and confirm it was faulty, but that was never followe up on in the follwing week. Tried for a return for refund on the 6th week, they said the courier would contact me for pickup. They never did, so I reached out to the courier myself. They my didn't even know my case number existed, so clearly my return was never intended to happen at all.
Absolutely utter trash. Do not buy from this scam of a company. God forbid something expensive like a treadmill like me.

I’ve ordered a kids bike since 24th of November and my order is still on pending from this day..
I tried calling the customer care and spoke to Annie and mentioned that they only can see on thier side it has been in transit from the supplier to my choice of store.
They put me on a call back request from the base Hamilton torpedo7 to inform me about the delay.
But never heard back from them. I have reached out to them and called the sales and the bike part department from morning, then tried again at lunch. And again afternoon, until to the point it was after hours closed calls.
At the end, I still had no answer. This is such a poorly managed retail department and very disappointed as they keep saying they are very busy.
This is a load of rubbish. I don’t think I’ll buy from them again.

Ordered online, and immediate response was they were taking up to ten days to process orders; it's now sixteen days with no response whatsoever. Will not be buying from Torpedo 7 again.
