This is one of the best portable AC units weve ever used. It gets ice cold and i love the multiple features. After about 8 months the compressor went out. We reached out to customer service through email and they responded quickly. They walked us through troubleshooting which resulted in them sending us a brand new replacement unit. Great products and amazing customer service.
Open box 9000btu and then bought another one
I bought an open box 9000btu 120V unit last year 2025. It had a few dents, scrapes and a bent mounting foot. The install went great and it worked great through the winter. I bought a second one in January 2026 and it took me until March 11th to finish the install, partly cause I am 73. On this one I had some questions before turning it on and Mason got back to me the same day and asked me all the right questions and suggested trouble shooting. That one email answered all my questions without me even asking the right question. I was up and running the next day. I love TOSOT their products and their customer service is GREAT.

I purchased a Tosot Minsplit system from Tosot Direct in May of 2025. In December 2025 we chose to turn on the heat and received an error code that we had a leak in the freon lines. After calling out 2 technicians to inspect we discovered that outside unit had a leak internally. Falling the holiday season I reached out to customer service to replace this outside unit. After providing the documentation TOSOT needed, they immediately replaced the system. After thinking for a month I would have an argument to deal with, my issue was remedied with 2 emails. The actions by this company will make me a lifetime customer. Thanks Mason.

my initial purchase was a 18000btu unit. I loved it so much i bought another 12000btu for a second room. Excellent units. Customer service is wonderful and actually want to help. My experience is excellent and would recommend Tosot to anyone who needs their products.
These are great value units and worth every penny
These are great value units. A few years ago I had a central air conditioner that was damaged during a hurricane. Now it was out of warranty by about one month. The AC Contractor quoted me $1300 for the repair. It was a fan motor.
I went on Amazon, found the same motor and bought it for $500. I was in the process of installing it and said wait a minute why am I installing this fan motor and maybe I get it right, maybe I don’t, then I returned the motor to Amazon and looked for mini splits.
I found several brands but TOSOT stood out to me due to great reviews and they’re a unit of GREE a highly respected brand.
Now granted, I DYI installed them which technically voids the warranty. But since then I’ve bought six of these units and not one has failed. They’re just built so well a warranty isn’t really needed.
I commend GREE for introducing TOSOT. if one breaks for real, the price point is low enough I’d simply replace it rather that some crazy repair estimate from HVAC contractors. HVAC contractors really have a license to steal, with TOSOT, I disarmed that license to steal.

I ordered a portable A/C unit for my small bedroom from Tosot, The Shiny 10,200 BTU with Dehumidifier it works so well I ordered another one for my mom's living room. I live in Florida were its very high Humidity. The order was delivered fast and both units are amazing. You can track your order as soon as it ships. I just ordered a Tower Fan from Tosot can't wait to see it arrive on Monday.

Response was very quick when I ordered the TOSOT 12000 Btu 120 volt, delivery took about 4/5 days for the indoor (4) and outdoor unit (5). Took me and my son in-law close to 4 hours. The system works great, I’ve had it on since we installed it, using the heat. I live in Colorado and it’s been in the 20’s in the morning and 40 in the afternoon. We installed in our lower level family room, the unit has been set at 70 degrees and it’s running smooth and quiet and very comfortable.I actually installed a 24000 system last month in our upper level of the house and the airconditioner worked great very comfortable and quiet. We are using the heat in that part of the house and it doing a remarkable job set at 70 degrees, it’s living up to the standards that are advertised… very impressed 🏆
Had an issue with one of the indoor…
Had an issue with one of the indoor units of a dual mini-split system. Customer support was great, worked with me to identify the problem and determined that the inside unit needed to be replaced. They quickly sent a replacement under warranty.
Above and beyond!
I have used Tosot products for 4 different installations. There have been two times I have had to reach out for support. Each time the support has gone above what I was expecting to make sure the problem was resolved. I am so confident in Tosot that I will never use another company.
The inside Unit was having issues
The inside Unit was having issues and would only work with a remote. Emailed them and they asked for a video and if we noticed water prior to the issue occurring. I confirmed and sent a video the immediate told me they were sending a new one free of charge. Got it change and put in and it works amazing and the remote now works for both units and from farther away

Happy with the product
So far I'm happy with the product, especially for the price. While the manual is light on some of the details, watching a few youtube videos goes a long way to making the install easy. I had no issues with the install but after a couple of days I got an L3 error. Tosot support was fantastic and walked me though troubleshooting, clearing the error, and answering questions I had about the app and remote. They were friendly and helpful.
Worst customer service / Worst users…
Worst customer service / Worst users manual. Electrical diagram does not make sense and very vague. You call customer service then they take info and convey to tech support and tech support respond you via email. Each and every tech support responses are email link referring to use manual which is worthless. I could not figure out much therefore I called a local HVAC company and they could not figure out and when they contacted customer service / the same answer.

Product is step ahead of competition
I ordered a mini-split from TosotDirect. Packaging & delivery were both excellent. The features offered in the TOSOT mini-split products were a step ahead of the competition in terms of value. As my unit was recently installed, I cannot judge either reliability or durability yet.
Excellent customer service-responsive and helpful!
I bought a 1200btu mini split and performed the install myself. I did as much research as possible, bought the equipment needed to perform the install, and the device worked well for about 2-3 days. After that the unit was showing a code that there was a refrigerant leak. I called a professional to come out and look over the system. He wasn't able to find the leak but verified that it was indeed low on refrigerant. I was then told it would cost an additional $200 to do a dye test to find the leak and somewhere around $2000 to recharge and fix the leak. We both agreed this was crazy as I could almost buy 3 of the units for that price. Feeling defeated, I reached out to TOSOT customer support and explained in detail how I setup and tested the unit using all the proper tools. After some additional troubleshooting, they issued a replacement outdoor unit and advised I use a professional to install this time. I am now up and running and very happy with the product!
