I paid £1 for a phone number check, then charged £29 subscription

I paid £1 for a phone number check. Then, the next day they charged me another £29 for a monthly subscription I never asked for. Their sneaky tactic is to automatically create a monthly subscription for you when you buy a one time service like a phone check. Since you gove them your credit card details they create a subscription for you.

Scammers

Scammers. They charged me £ 30 a month without asking me for a monthly subscription. The data they gave me was useless.

Total garbage and scam

Total garbage. I tested them with my own phone number, and they identified my as two people I've never heard of (I've had this phone number for over 20 years). They got the carrier wrong, got the town wrong. Other information was hidden or didn't exist at all. And they actually wanted me to pay an additional $9.99 to download the report. There is no report. This is a scam.

Fake app

Fake app, they showed 7 impressions but after paying they only show 2 impressions which was the number and provider.

I only wanted to check on one email…

I only wanted to check on one email address and did pay the $3.99 to do that. I supplied my email dress for them to send my results but never received them. They then proceeded to charge me again the next day $29.99. I tried to find a way to contact their customer service and they don’t list a phone number. Finally just put a fraud alert on the charge with my CC who suggested I cancel the card and get a new one issued. Also found an email address for customer service and notified them of the problem and told them I disputed the charge with my bank. Only then did I get a response and Trace check reversed the charges. Read the very fine print on Tracecheck before using.

Le site cache un abonnement

Le site cache un abonnement. Vous payez 1 euro pour une simple recherche, le lendemain votre carte est débitée de 29,90 euro abonnement mensuel. Impossible de les joindre pour se désabonner d'un service dont je me suis jamais abonné.
