Craftsmanship and workmanship of highest order ! Also pleasant and easy to work with team on both the frame and the assembly was just spectacular, cleaned and tidied after worked through the rains !!

There’s only one word that comes to mind and that’s ‘excellent’, from initial enquiry through to design, delivery and ease of assembly.

We ordered a made to measure pergola and everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them despite me making a number of changes throughout the design process.

Assembly was very straightforward with detailed drawings, full instructions and all joints fitting together perfectly. Apart from needing assistance from a couple of additional people for the larger beams, two of us managed it over a couple of days.

Our local builder helped me put it up and he is a real stickler for accuracy and everything being level. I lost count of the number of times he said how amazed he was with the quality and how it all fitted together perfectly.

Very responsive and helpful with questions and queries.
Competitive pricing compared to the other online Oak vendors that i looked at.
Plus they sent out a box of biscuits with the delivery which was a nice touch!

We found James and Roger at TOBK to be excellent from our 1st enquiry for a 3 x Bay garage to the final erection this week by their excellent Outsourced Team...now the frame is up...all our builders have to do is complete the cladding and tiling

The ordering process for our Pergo!a was very efficient and done in a friendly manner. It arrived on the specified day and was erected the same day by two very efficient and obliging staff. We had some initial problems from the wood tannin dripping into the patio. The erectors returned the next week and rectified the issue. We are very pleased with the quality and look of the product. Now with some plants attached and pots around it looks great.

This company is a gem - easy to deal with and very responsive, both before and after the sale. The oak frame turned up on exactly the quoted timescale and has surpassed my expectations. It was an absolute joy to put together (adult Lego but heavy!) The fit of the individual parts is amazing and is cut very very accurately. Do not hesitate to buy from this company you will be impressed!

Just completed a three bay garage and the quality, fit and finish were way beyond my expectations. The quality of the joints are to the millimetre and most sections have a small bevel on them which just lifts the whole appearance.

After spending months looking for a lovely oak frame garage to suit my pocket I finally came across (Trade Oak Building Kits) at last we found just what we were looking for at a great price.
We live in the West Country and there wasn’t anything available in our area, this was no problem Trade Oak gave us an excellent price to have it shipped to our house in Falmouth.
we spoke several times to the Company’s directors Edward, and James on the telephone and together we set it up.
During the build time, I made several changes to the plans we exchanged lots of emails drawing, etc it was never a problem for them they helped me all the way, it had to be right and yes it was completed just as we wanted it.
The garage is partway up now and looks fantastic huge oak posts with oak rafters we ordered oak cladding and to match. This garage is quality through and through we are delighted however, you will need a telly handler and good operator to get the heavy timbers into place. Thank You, Roger and James I would not hesitate to recommend Trade Oak building kits they deserve to lead the way in oak buildings.

We spent a long time researching the market before we chose Trade Oak who we decided offered not only the best value for money kit but the designs which used the most substantial sized oak beams...and we are so happy with our choice.

Our triple garage/ workshop is an amazing building... much admired by friends and neighbours. Ed and James proved to be a very helpful pair and enabled us to adapt one of their standard kits so the finished design was perfect for our needs and building control requirements.

Aidan Handley with his team set to work in the snow when the kit was delivered on time and everything went like clockwork. We loved the outbuilding so much that we decided to incorporate an oak frame in our kitchen extension which, between Aidan and Ed, they designed to be a unique but complementary addition to our 1920s
house.

The whole experience was very professional. The dates given all matched the timescales quoted and actually arrived a week before schedule. The actual structure is fantastic and really has the wow factor. Would definitely use this company again in the future.

The whole process from enquiry over email to delivery of the frame was very straightforward. Even the haulage company were friendly and on time. We agreed the final design including dormer windows, James even saved me a few quid swapping out oak timber that wouldn’t be seen for pressure treated soft wood. James & Ed are on top of their game, the final drawings were of a high quality, as verified by a couple of builder friends of mine. I was being quoted silly money locally to erect the structure, again, Ed came to the rescue and suggested Aiden with whom they do quite a bit of work with. He stayed locally, as I am in Essex, and put the whole thing up with his colleague in 4.5 days, great workmanship, very tidy, professional & friendly. Trade Oak did all that they said they would. I would recommend them.
The assembly was without any misfits or alignment issues.
The only negative point is the oak sections are now showing some quite large splits. Although this splitting is not a structural concern it does take away some of the appearance quality. This is the result of using green oak I assume.

I did a lot of research online before I purchased a two bay oak garage.
The service from start to finish was outstanding, the product itself was fantastic.
They even recommended a team to build it for me and they maintained the level of service.
I would recommend them to anybody that wants good service with a seriously high quality product.
