Outstanding service, driver (Bilal) was excellent
I was stuck at Oxford station on Sunday evening unable to get home to London due to travel restrictions around bicycles on trains and buses. Tranzitt were able to provide a driver to take me and my bicycle (non-folding) home. The driver arrived within 25 minutes and it was the least expensive quote that I found at the time.
Bilal K. was fantastic, helping me and my bicycle into his car and then driving me home. His hospitality was outstanding and I would like to thank my driver, Bilal and the customer service agent from Tranzitt that helped me through the booking process.

Driver takes us long route home - who does that?!
Driver not there when we arrived despite letting them know arrival time. Then the driver takes us the long route home despite there being a 20 minute saving from Gatwick to Cambridge. Why would you do that? Very annoyed as we booked a car to be quicker than the train but turns out to be same/longer. Waste of time. Do not use.

We have spoken with our partner operator, who in turn discussed the matter with the driver. The route selection during a private hire journey is ultimately the driver’s decision, and it is typically based on real-time road conditions, traffic flow, and safety considerations. Drivers generally rely on live navigation tools such as Google Maps and will choose what they believe to be the most suitable route at the time of travel.
For journeys from Gatwick to Cambridge, the estimated travel time in clear traffic is usually around 1 hour 45 minutes, although this can vary depending on traffic levels and road conditions. According to the trip records, the vehicle picked up at 05:41 and dropped off at 07:43, which is approximately 2 hours overall. This is within the normal time range for this route, particularly during evening travel.
It is also worth noting that drivers have no incentive to intentionally take longer routes, as doing so increases their own fuel costs and time on the road. Our drivers aim to complete journeys efficiently while prioritising safety.
That said, we do understand that after a flight most passengers understandably want to reach home as quickly as possible, and we appreciate you raising the concern. Your feedback has been shared with the operating team so they remain mindful of route efficiency where possible.

Used Tranzitt for the first time, for a long distance drop off and return journey recently. Highly recommend. Driver details shared 24 hours in advance for reassurance of the booking. Kept updated. Driver was safe, polite and efficient. Would definitely use again.

Never heard of Tranzitt until I had…accommodates dogs
Never heard of Tranzitt until I had to do a last minute google search in the air because my transfer company cancelled and said they couldnt accommodate service dogs . What a surprise…received a very competitive price (better than previous co) and they were courteous, no nonsense, and got us to our destination in a very clean and comfortable transport van that accommodated a lot of luggage and didnt squabble about our dogs at all. Ill use them as primary airport transfer provider going forward
