Immediate Error Ignored, Disproportionate Fee Demanded
I booked via Travelis and noticed an error in the travel date immediately after payment. I contacted customer service without delay to correct it.
Instead of correcting the booking, I was told cancellation was only possible if I accepted an 89 EUR fee (over 50% of the ticket price) within a few hours (“yes or no before 21:00”). No clear justification or airline-based evidence for this fee was provided.
When I did not accept under time pressure, I was informed the option had expired and the booking would remain active.
