If I could give this a zero star I would I’m so pissed I paid a lot of money for these shoes haven’t received them they don’t return my emails and they gave me a tracking number with no tracking . I need my shoes!! Or a refund ugh must not be Americans running this idiotic service

I haven’t received my shoes yet i made my order since Feb.7 it’s now Feb.20 they keep saying email us haven’t got a response back from the email then they sent me to track my order on SHOP they haven’t even shipped my order out yet I need to now something or give me a refund because I’m lost with no response

Bought my 9y.o. son a pair of Treads shoes in anticipation of going back to school in September 2020. The model was called Madrid. It really looked well-made and indestructible. When it arrived, I was really impressed. The leather looked tough. The soles were solid and thick. They are featuring a dual-fitting size, which means there is plenty of room. I thought there was no way this wouldn't last till my son's feet grow out of them. However, once he started wearing them, some things became obvious. The thick sole is too thick. Not flexible enough when they run around. The front bit/toe protector started getting unglued quite quickly. It hasn't fallen off yet, but it is no longer firmly attached. The leather bit underneath the velcro is always sideways, making my son uncomfortable. And finally, the part of the leather stitched onto the mid-section of the shoe has worn out so much it looks frayed. My son only wears these shoes to school. He has two other pairs of shoes, one of which is for PE and PE type activities. He started wearing them in September '20 and has probably had three, maybe three and a half months (max) of use. However, the shoes already look very worn out and, in my opinion, not presentable. I shall attempt to attach the pictures of possible, if not I would just like to say that this model is in no way more superior than other makes and it does not last 12 months.
P.s. forgot to mention the wide fit. The fit is really wide and my son can't wear the shoes without some really thick socks. His fit varies between E and (towards) F in Clarks.

I am so disappointed. After waiting 5 weeks for my order I received the shoe. It was way too small. I checked my order and I had in fact ordered a 7 1/2. There were no tags inside the shoe to verify the shoe size and no paperwork came with it. I held the shoe I received up to two different pairs of my regular sized size. They were substantially smaller. I took a picture and sent it, along with a note to the company. Their response was that I had in fact received the shoe I ordered. That is true but I explained again it was the correct shoe, wrong size. Since then I’ve been totally ignored. This is NO way to treat customers. I will never again order from this company.

Had my sons treads for 3 months and the sole had come a way a little, sent them a picture via email and the next day they had posted a brand new pair out. Other than this the shoes still look as new as the day we get them. Very strong shoes and look smart and stylish too. Very pleased with the great customer service and great shoes. Will definitely be buying treads every time now.

My daughter had a pair of treads shoes, for just under a year the shoes remained as new despite my daughter being a very active child. Just within the year there was an issue with the shoes, I contacted customer service and within 3 days a new pair of shoes arrived. I am astounded at the amazing service. The shoes are great and the sizing is spot on, it’s brilliant that you can remove the special insole to make them a size bigger. Will be a treads customer for many years to come.

Ordering for the first time I checked the website’s recommendation on sizing and ordered the shoe gauge on the understanding that the price would be refunded. Be aware that Treads will not refund the cost of this and allow you to enter another (sign-up) discount code. Fair enough, but the website froze three times on trying to checkout with no message provided as to why. I called the customer service line. BEWARE: CALLS TO CUSTOMER SERVICES/ORDER LINE ARE CHARGED AT 13 p/MINUTE. When I got through to customer services, the operatives were rude and stroppy, insisting they could keep me hanging on as extortionate charging is normal for customer service lines. I don’t think so. John Lewis, M&S, StartRite, Clark’s ... all free. Anyway, they were so unhelpful and entitled I’ll never find out if Treads are as good as they’re supposed to be. I’m going to support the High Street and buy StartRite’s (never let us down yet) from our local independent shoe shop and throw the shoddy shoe gauge from Treads in recycling. Improve your customer service, Treads. It’s shocking.

Order a pair off tread shoes they have been worn around 45 days and the tongue off the shoe has all split open from the stiching, I have contacted tread shoes about this and have been told this is not covered but clearly stated in there guarantee stitching is covered I will never buy from this company again

TREADS SHOES

I bought a pair of shoes for my son for £40.50, I had to upgrade the delivery to next day and spent 10 mins on phone trying to get the upgrade sorted. The shoes did not arrive on the Monday as agreed so another 10 mins was spent calling trying to ascertain where shoes were. Shoes did arrive.
Today I looked at my phone bill and have been CHARGED £22 for those calls.

BEWARE they use premium rate numbers that increase your spend by more than 50% of the shoe!!

5 month's old and the tongue looks like a hamster has been at it. Apparently the guarantee does not cover this, but they wanted to see pictures of the damage before they decided!!

Shoes developed a hole, they admitted they are not up to standard. The shoes were out of stock so could not replace them. so they offered a different pair of choice, but my son didn't like any. Requested refund. Refund refused as outside of 30 days (12 month guarantee????). Offered a credit note but my son will be too big for treads soon so credit is no use. I'm now stuck.
So the 12 month indestructible guarantee is worth nothing- don't be sucked in by 'promises'. Very disappointing.

This is a review of the company - I will be back when the boys have had chance to try the products (although they look real quality). The company have been amazing. Ordered and received the shoes within 48 hours. Easy to follow measuring (although it was scary ordering shoes in larger than normal sizes they fit with comfort and room to grow with the innovative insoles). The communications with the company have been second to none. I sent a query e-mail and it was responded to and actioned within 24 hours. Excellent customer service.
Now looking forward to not having to traipse around shops every 12 weeks because they need new school shoes which stresses us all out. Will update after a few weeks of school commutes :-}

I have three children age 14, 12 and 7 so I’m no stranger to buying school shoes. I only wish Treads were around when my eldest first started school all those years ago - I’d have saved a fortune. 6 months, 2 school terms in, and all three pairs for all three children are still going strong and I would definitely had had to buy replacements by now with any other (even more expensive) pair. Very happy customer.

Don't believe a word they say! My twins have worn their £35 shoes for just 18 weeks. One pair has a hole in the toe, and the other is close to a hole. When I contacted them under their 12 month guarantee I was told they didn't see the shoes as damaged, "try applying polish". I have never had this problem with Clarks which we have had previously. I certainly won't be wasting my money with this brand again.
