Amazing game that has really helped with our maths throughout the year

As a Deputy Head with a keen interest in maths and an obsession with football, when I heard about Trivela FC, I knew instantly that this was going to be a big hit in school.

We trialed it first with Y6 and it took off instantly! So much so that I had the Y5’s bugging me to give them their logins.

Since starting up, we have been very impressed with the engagement of the pupils. They love the upleveling of their player cards and they also love improving their teams by opening packs.

Being able to pack someone in their class’ player card is genius! It encourages them even more to play on the game a lot.

The journey through the maths is brilliant; starting first with addition, then moving onto multiplication and then through the SATs content. It really is helping them with their arithmetic skills.

The customer service is also second to none. Any issues that arise are sorted quickly and efficiently.

Such a great way to get kids into maths. I had my class badgering me constantly, “When can we next play Trivela?” Dynamic ways to test different maths skills and engages children in ways that similar apps/games just don’t. Highly recommended.

As an assistant head of a primary, I am always looking for ways to engage pupils with maths, especially those who are more reluctant. Trivela has been a fantastic platform that our pupils love. Teachers have been able to target specific maths content (e.g times table recall in Y4) that helps consolidate and practice lesson content. We have seen fantastic progress in our Y4 MTC and KS2 SATs outcomes and Trivela has helped support this. By using a FIFA-inspired theme, pupils are motivated to increase their stats and stay engagaged far longer than other platforms we have bought into. Cannot recommend it enough!
