Trojan EV Charging Harrow, there are about 20 pavement charging points near West Harrow Tube station, even when they indicate Green, quite a few points do not accept the lance, basically its hit and miss and you have to find one that accepts the lance...highly inefficient and frustrating!
Called customer service, absolutely clueless and most rude and unhelpful, feedback was you have a faulty lance and we have suspended the lance, even thought I explained I had just charged successfully. Customer Service stated they would send a engineer out straight away to arrive and check lance/charging in the next hour hour...no one turned upon and no update received.
Called next day, engineer turned up and tested the lance and stated that the lance was perfectly working and the road side charging points were faulty even though they show a green indicator.
Its shockingly poor and we have wasted so much time finding a parking space next to a green status EV charing point only to find its faulty and does not accept the lance, this coupled with terrible customer service I can only say what started as a potential exciting new option has turned into a nightmare and no one in Trojan is willing to help sadly!!
I signed up in good faith in December 2025, and until the beginning of January, everything was proceeding toward a rough target of, basically, now for my charger to be installed...
To receive an email a couple of weeks ago saying they've partnered with ConnectedKerb, but don't worry, everything will proceed as planned and then to receive a glib email today saying 'after the acquisition we're pausing home applications' with zero explanation apart from an obtuse comment that 'info will be shared' in May...
What is actually going on? Is the whole thing going to change/fail?
I'll need a very good reason to stick with them....
I had a fantastic experience with Trojan Energy. The installation of my home charger was carried out with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. The engineers were courteous, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was set up perfectly. The customer service throughout the process was excellent. I highly recommend Trojan Energy if you have no driveway and need a charging point near your house.

What great 5 star professional service for example Stuart treat each bike care and attention and was very knowledgeable of each and every bike , how to start it up and things to look out for ,Living out in south Cumbria and not very accessible, Stuart had no problem with this and kept me informed of progress and delivery eta , the price was also very competitive , I have no problem recommending Trojan Transport to anyone, please use them , also Stuart is a very nice person and wants the customer to be happy with each delivery /pick up ,

I’ve consistently had problems charging my vehicle with this company’s stations. The chargers often fail to start or stop unexpectedly, making them very unreliable. I contacted customer service several times, but still unable to resolve the issue. It’s frustrating to deal with the same problems repeatedly without any real support. I hope the company improves both the reliability of its chargers and the quality of its customer service.

Trojan Energy enables a lot of EV charging points to be added to residential streets without reducing the number of parking spaces for non-EVs - there are no reserved bays but, instead, blocks of 8+ pavement holes/ports, into which you put your “lance” and cable. When the charging port is not in use, it’s a normal parking bay.
The charging is at a very sensible rate: around 22KwH. So an easy overnight charge, even for a big battery. By contrast many council-provided chargers take up a lot of space, eliminate normal parking spaces and, especially the lamppost ones, are slower.
Perhaps the best thing about Trojan: an excellent help line you can call 24/7 and speak to real (nice) people who can actually do something about your charging problem!

We signed up to the Trojan home trial and within a couple of months after very thorough checks and great communication it was installed. It's a bit of a game changer if you don't have a driveway and a month no regrets at all. Customer service and after care has been excellent. It's simple to use - not sure what the other reviewer is referring to as it's usually plugged in within minutes. I hope they can keep the sub prices low to keep it affordable.

A great option for those who don't have off road parking, the lance is a bit of a faff, but it keeps the street clutter down so is worth it.

They have had teething problems, most new technology deployments do, but they get to it. I have been using the service now for getting on a couple of years and the reliability now is excellent. Also the recharging facility that Trojan offer has to be one of the ways forward to really democratise charging, by this I mean making it a service which is as easy as turning on a tap and freeing drivers/cars etc being reliant on having to drive to a "station" to refuel by simply being able to park up where you live or nearby and charge, at a commercial price for sure, but still much cheaper than traditional fuels even with our high electricity prices - If Trojan's charging idea takes hold it could be world class. But on my doorstep it is simply great

Great EV charging company. They put a load of chargers close together so always likely to find a spot.
Occasionally have technical issues but their customer support and local engineers are very quick and responsive to get it sorted.
