Turqle UK Turqle UK's parent is Turqle Trading in Cape Town in South Africa. Turqle has been trading since 1997. In the first 15 years we only exported to the mainly Fair Trade markets in Europe, and lately have started branching out into local on-line stores. Turqle develops the concepts, the recipes and the labels and takes care of the Fair Trade conversation. Products are manufactured at various factories from Wellington and Malmesbury, through to Montague Gardens and Westlake. Cape Treasures is our own brand and we are brand-guardians to Ukuva iAfrica. All the salt we use come from Khoisan Natural Salt in Veldrift and although the pepper and some of the spices are imported (spices do not grow in South Africa), we aim to procure local raw materials, bottles, caps, labels, boxes etc. Most of the products are exported - Europe, Australia - some to the USA and the UK - all the food safety standards are in line with the regulations in the importing countries. Ultimately the food story is 'taste happiness first'... we believe we're putting the best, most flavorsome products out there.

A great range of tasty spices and sauces

The Ukuva spices and sauces are exceptionally tasty. We were given some as a gift and so, delighted to find them available in the UK, we ordered a bunch more. Delivery was super quick. They make great gifts as well.

All Good

Website was clear and easy to use, the products arrived with breathless promptitude (in an age where stuff often arrives late, broken or not at all) and they look great. (Haven't used them yet!)

Prompt friendly service

I spoke directly to the person in charge who was very patient and helpful, telling how to make the payment online and arranging for the immediate dispatch of my order which arrived a day later.

No hesitation in recommending this company

Products arrived quickly, in great condition. I just LOVE the products this company has; they elevate your cooking to a whole new level! Just try an ordinary cheese and tomato sandwich with Island Spice ground onto it and you'll taste what I mean!

Ukuva Lemon Pepper & Seaweed Salt

I ordered some refills for Ukuva Lemon pepper and Seaweed Salt. The products are delicious, had them before. Ordered Saturday evening, they came today, despite the Bank Holiday weekend. Excellent service.

Excellent products

Excellent products, the spice grinders are an easy way of adding lots of flavour to food. They came well packaged and very quick delivery.
