Jaguar 3.0d S Remap day. Gone up from 275BHP to 315BHP and from 600Nm to 665Nm torque, not that it needed it. I was there more for the economy gains which speak for themselves. TripA 34.1mpg is going to Chris and TripB 41.4mpg is coming home. Pretty happy with that! Chris is a really top bloke and knows his stuff. Cheers

Highly recommend Chris, came and sorted my Q7 after it went into limp mode, turns out it had a previous map that had caused a load of issues, so got rid of that reinstalled the correct software for the vehicle after methodically sorting each issue and Installing a custom map. Very happy customer, and a sensible price 👍

So yesterday I made my second visit to see Chris at TWRTuning. This visit was to get my (new to me) van remapped after he did such an excellent job on my Toyota a couple of years ago. I arrived on time and was greeted with a smile and a handshake. We had already discussed what I wanted and Chris told me what was possible, Chris got to work and plugged his equipment into the ECU to do a health check. He discovered that the van had been mapped before with a very crude map, the health check also threw up a boosting problem which Chris believed to be connected to the already installed crude map. Not fazed at all Chris got out a machine and got to work checking for said problem just to be absolutely sure (he was correct in his thoughts) he also discovered that the map had been loaded with outdated software. It was time to put all these problems right so after updating the VW software he then installed a much more refined map with certain parameters adjusted for my personal needs he also educated me on how to change some of the settings on my van. After all the work was done I paid Chris and went on my way home, the difference was immediate with better throttle response smoother acceleration through the rev range and more usable power through the rev range which meant less changing up and down the gears. All these results should give me a few more MPG but if it doesn't it has certainly made the van a much more pleasant drive. Now I have used Chris a couple of times and several of my friends have used his services on my recommendation and we are all really happy with the results and the price he charges is nothing compared to other mapping companies out there. I would highly recommend TWR for any mapping or diagnostic needs you may have and I will not hesitate to use Chris again. 10 out of 10

I’d heard about the benefits of remaps but also stories of woe connected to them. Being a Headteacher in my 40’s and not a boy racer I was apprehensive.
My recently purchased Q7 was a little thirsty and felt clunky through gear changes.
I joined the facebook forums and did some research: the positive reviews, advice and helpful interactions with Chris Lee at TWR Tuning were evident in all the forums.
It was a 240 mile and a four hour round trip from my home to the TWR Tuning workshop . . .and worth every mile and minute of the journey.
Upon arrival on a Sunday morning I was greeted with a bacon sandwich and several cups of tea. Chris explained in depth the process of engine health checks and remapping. Chris spotted immediately that my ECU had previously been removed and was not original to the vehicle. As a precautionary measure Chris removed and ‘benched’ the ECU to read it and store back up information directly from it. He also carried out many health checks on the engine including a smoke test to check for air leaks. The results have been exceptional. Increased power, smoothness of delivery and drivability, and all with the bonus of achieving an average 40.9 MPG on my weekly 400-mile work commute across fast A roads.
A highly recommended knowledgeable professional.

Chris went above and beyond with this tricky remap. Everything was done to a high standard, really impressed with the new performance and will be happy to see the increase in MPG.

I Messaged TWRtuning(Chris) about my BMW X5, he walked me through the process of checking the car for any faults or issues before doing any adjustment, he then did the remap once he was happy with the car and told me all the benefits. Chris is very knowledgeable and has a passion for his work I highly recommend him!

This was my 2nd ramap from Chris he was brilliant. On time as usual and guides you through what he’s doing with honesty. Very good service and his remap is awesome. Can’t recommend him enough! chris came out to my car to give it more torque and a remap,gave it a full health check 1st to make sure everything was,despite having trouble getting the wheel off and getting to the ecu,chris stick with it (more patience than I would've had),talked me through the process and what I would expect from car regarding throttle response and torque,
instant noticeable difference in the car with acceleration and it now has me fighting with the wheel on take off
100% happy with this,glad I got it done
