Laggy asf, words I had to look up

Some of the grammar in the source materials is incorrect. Surely there's a better way to deliver the information you are to type.

whenever you get it wrong in makes a VERY ANOYING BEEP SOUND and it doesn't even tell you to redo it or not. 1 STAR WOULD GO LOWER IF I COULD!

I've been doing this for two months now and i have declined in typing skills.

first off, you have to follow a script to type and you wont be able to understand it

second, the lessons take over 30 minutes to do

third, the WPM (words per minute) is so inaccurate you might just lick a brick insted because it dose somthing

IF YOU ARE TRYING TO FIND A TYPING SORSE FIND SOMTHING OTHER THAN THIS (nitro type)

Its not to terrible but the cpu goes all the way up when i use this and then my imputs are delayed and annoying im pretty sure something fishy is going on plus its been installing wierd files and apps on my friends computer and google keeps saying the have recived suspicious traffic from his computer every time he opens a tab

I wan to like this app but fir beginners like me they underline the letter your supposed to type while highlighting other letters so they purposely psych you out by doing so because one letter is underlined at the same time another is highlighted so your brain literally has no idea WTF key your actually supposed to hit. These mind games do no favors to beginners or anyone for that matter. I've junked this site. Go with Tipp10. Much better organized with all the psychedelic layouts to confuse you while trying to learn

I have tried numerous times to learn how to touch type online and always thrown the towel in because the process was dull and boring. I was content to use two finger typing and managed to get close to 30 WPM. A month ago I decided to try touch typing again and started with typingcat but I found it repetitive. Then by chance I came across Typing.com and everything changed. The site is much more interactive they mix up the lessons and actually explain which finger to use for each key. I'm motivated to complete each lesson and try to improve my speed and accuracy. The lesson are well designed and actually work. I have to say Typing,com is far better than any other free site and probably better than some paid sites. I have gone from total beginner 8 WPM to 18 WPM with 99% accuracy in just over 2 weeks, and I'm only half way through their intermediate course. I fully expect to be at 30 WPM at the end of another two weeks. I will update when I get to +30 WPM. For the record I wasn't asked to write this review, I felt its the least a could do for getting a fun engaging free interactive typing course.

Excellent tool for learning to touch type and increasing speed. The assessments are really helpful for monitoring progress as you can track your speed and increases in accuracy using percentages. I started as a hunt and tap typist and have reached 47wpm and 97% accuracy in only a few weeks.

It teaches you how to type very well and fast. You learn a lot and there are games. The only thing is that it can be frustrating if you typed it wrong or if you typed it right, but it said it was wrong.

typing.com is trash, dont do it, i have been doing it for years and i am still up to the two fingers

Piece of utter crap website that was written by two newborn babies that came straight out of a womb with no coding experience whatsoever. I was doing a 3 page typing test and on my last sentence a bug occurred that made it hide the line with the words I have to type, which ultimately made me lose progress. This happened to me like 15 times throughout my use of typing.com.

The website should get deleted. :(

This is a very good website that can help you type very efficiently and desserves a 5 star! HOWEVER, the ads are destroying the experience because there is delay and all pages are lagging - that's sad when you want something fluid to increase your speed.

I typed every correct key, yet still this app counted it wrong. The internet is horrible, even when you have three bars. DO NOT RECOMMEND

the typing lessons helped me a lot memorizing my home row top row and bottom.

Why do you freaking make it impossible to get good WPM and good accuracy? It's literally bullcrap. 1 star.

It works well, I guess. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have to learn how to type for a very important reason, because it is a fairly long (about 3 hours) course for just the 'basics'. However, it did show me how to type correctly, so it technically works. Be ready for long, repetitive exercises without any offers of a certificate!
