This app is exactly what it should be. I've been using it for many years starting with purchase of the pc app. The web version has taken me some time to get used to but now I think it's even better than the standalone app. Plus the web app gets updated frequently, making it even better. It has saved me from *many* years of having to rent more cloud disk space. Thanks.

Unattach is very effective in unattaching all files in an email and leaving a note with the name of the downlodaded file so it makes it very handy to look for and retrieve the downloaded information.

Does exactly what I need to save space. I have Unattach download the files for me so I have a record.

There's something about the user interface that always makes me think I'm going to miss something and make a mistake, but in fact things have always worked the way I want them to.

It's just infuriating that google offers no simple way to remove oversized email attachments while preserving the actual email itself. This tool does that and so much more just flawlessly, and lets you automatically resize and resample the stupid 8MB cell phone pictures people attach into a sensible 20-40kB file. So you can still keep the image attachments but using 95% less memory and without requiring horizontal scrolling etc. I just hope google doesn't remove this app out of malice like they have so many other gmail extension apps we've used in the past.

Does exactly what I need. To keep it free I have a recurring calendar reminder to fix another 10 emails each month.

Exactly what I was looking for. You can download and delete attachments without deleting or moving the original emails. The free option is very generous and lets you test it out.

Great app easy to use love it

Excellent tool. It's not fancy and beautiful, but it's clear, easy-to-use, and very functional. For years I've been paying for a subscription to Google One because I had a full inbox and I couldn't decide whether or not to delete old email messages with big photo attachments. Now, I don't have to choose. I can keep the message and download the photo. WIN WIN. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Very useful application that allows me to remove or download large attachments without deleting the text of the emails. This way I can free up my Google storage cloud while keeping the attachments in the hard disk. It has a free plan (for 10 mails/month) and a basic one ($9.99/year) for unlimited emails that can be cancelled anytime.

This is is brilliant. It is less than half the cost of paying Google's expanded storage fee. It not only labels the removed attachments on my harddrive, it leaves a note on the original email telling me where to find it on my local drive.

No issues at all. I was able to filter emails with attachment by size and date, which made it easy to eliminate attachments of old emails and by doing this, saving several gigabyte as data.

This software is a good one. It is not a money saving tool to save on Google monthly fees. It is a tool to keep inbox in order by deleting all attached crap sent by random people.
