Upscale Studio Reviews

I've been developing video games since 2021 as a hobby in my free time. I released my first full-fledged game in 2023 on Google Play, and back then I never imagined that this very game would eventually make its way to PlayStation and Nintendo consoles - all thanks to the team at Upscale. Since I grew up as a huge fan of PlayStation One, having my own game on the same platform as the titles I loved as a kid is an absolute joy and an incredible honor. The porting process itself turned out to be surprisingly fast and straightforward. All I had to do was prepare the game a little and send it over to the Upscale team - they took care of everything else. Now all that's required of me is to receive monthly revenue reports from them. What could be simpler and faster, Upscale Studio :)

I mean, all you need to do is send them your game. They'll take care of the porting, and you'll start earning extra revenue from new platforms I wouldn't have reached otherwise. What more could you ask for?

They also provide detailed sales reports, and the payouts have always arrived on time. So far, it's been my best partnership, especially as an indie developer.

I worked with Upscale Studio to port my game Conquistadorio to PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
The port quality is solid - the game runs smooth on all three consoles, no big frame drops or anything annoying. What I liked most was the communication. They actually replied fast, explained stuff clearly and didn’t disappear for weeks. Kept sending progress updates, payments were on time, financial reports too, no mess with that.
Thanks to them I could just focus on the game itself and not deal with all the console nightmare. If you need someone reliable to port your game to consoles without huge headaches, I’d say go with these guys.

We have been working with them for more than a year, and the experience has been excellent. They took over our game project and independently handled the porting for each platform with a high level of professionalism. Payments and reports are always delivered on time, with no delays. They are consistently responsive and easy to communicate with. This partnership has increased our studio’s revenue without requiring additional effort on our side.
