Great company to use
Have been using upsie for a couple of years and their claims experience is the easiest I've ever had. Their monthly fees are manageable and fair.

I would call this a bait and switch scam. I never would have wasted my money after going with 2 plans for 4 years each, if I had known that the monthly premium would jump as much as 300% mid stream!!!! They were an affordable choice but are now a poor one, especially for appliances. There should be a class action suit filed against them. This should be unlawful.
Super Nice and Helpful Insurance People (yes it is true)
These people couldn't have been more helpful and nice. I am so glad I purchased this insurance than through Peloton. Upsie was great, never complained when the bottom bracket on my ebike+ broke, and were quick and efficient at given me guidance on booking a technician to make the replacement.
My overall experience was fantastic
My overall experience was fantastic. My son had broken my TV, he is special needs. Once I put in my claim, within two days, I got the money needed to buy my replacement TV. The fact that I didn’t have to pay a deductible and they refunded me the money I spent to have my TV inspected was definitely a plus. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

I have never had a better experience
I had never heard of Upsie. But when it came time to get coverage on some home appliances, they were the best price. Well, I have had them for most of this year. Friday my Maytag dryer stopped working. I immediately put in a claim, not even knowing what to expect. They responded within an hour asking for more information and documentation—which was super easy to upload and provide. I submitted a video of what was going wrong and uploaded the receipt from my purchase. They immediately sent me a list of suggested vendors to come give a diagnostic. The vendor came out Monday afternoon. I submitted the diagnostic summary to Upsie, my claim was approved next day and my claim was paid out Tuesday night via Venmo (PayPal or prepaid visa was also an option). I have never had a better experience with a warranty. I will be adding ALL of my household appliances to Upsie and recommending them to everyone I know.

Its a great option for household appliances. The only down side is processing times. Luckily I never had 100% damage but if I did, I wouldn't have resolution until 2-5 biz days which is not ideal for kitchen.

Buyer Beware - Canceled active subscription without notice
Below is a summary of my saga with customer service upon submitting a claim:
• I had an active monthly subscription that began 8/2024.
• My claim was rejected on the grounds that I didn't have an active subscription, despite never receiving a cancellation email and despite the subscription being still reflected as active in my account on the upsie website (screenshots were provided).
• According to the CS reps, my subscription was supposedly cancelled in August 2025, even though it was not initiated by me nor was I notified.
• My claim was rejected since I was unable to provide proof of continued subscription billing for a subscription that was canceled without my notice or consent.
• AKKO’s further investigation cited cancellation of my contract in 2023 as the reason why my contract was no longer active, despite my current contract only being activated. At best this demonstrated sloppy research.
• After summarizing the email chain I'd been subjected to in preparation for leaving a review, my request was escalated and AKKO was finally willing to reinstate my contract provided I pay the missing months to bring the account up to date (a reasonable ask) in order to process my claim. For this, I have added one starvback.
While I'm glad I was able to finally get the issue resolved, it should not have taken this much effort to correct an issue that clearly occurred on their end, and has greatly shaken my confidence in a company that I used to recommend to friends and family.
Affordable plans and seamless claim process
The plans are affordable for all different types or devices and appliances. The claim process was seamless, just in a week I was able to file and close the claim for my Smart TV. Can't expect anything more from them.

I had a great experience with Upsie. My claim was processed quickly and I received the funds in a matter of hours. The entire process went smooth and the people were very helpful and professional. I would highly recommend them.
I have used Upsie for the first time…
I have used Upsie for the first time and was my first time in making a claim. Upsie is like insurance for electronics including computers and mobile phones. It wasn't difficult to follow the instructions in helping me process my claim. They were helpful in making sure I do what needed to be done to get my laptop repaired and back in working order. I am grateful to them for the reimbursement of the repair cost. Everyone was very nice and treated the customer right. I have the experience as September 10th because that was when they honored the reimbursement for the repair costs in regard to my claim. Upsie is insurance for computers, so when my warranty was expired by ASUS, Upsie did provided me the reimbursement which paid for the service I needed to fix my laptop.
