I made an order through Cyclescheme and it was a terrible experience, I wish I had read the reviews. There is a gentleman called Martin who kept giving false promises, I regret ever running into this company!
Terrible customer service
I rang them to speak to sales at least 4 times. No one was ever available and they always took my number for someone to call me back but NOTHING. I wanted to buy at least 2 Ebikes from them. I won't bother now. Terrible customer service. I don't even know how they manage to keep this company going.

Was looking for a replacement bike…
Was looking for a replacement bike after my previous one was stolen. Joe was a legend! Excellent customer service and no hard sell. Gave me time for the insurance company (from my last bike) to pay up and got me back on the road. This was the third bike I have had from them over the years (SuperSocs previously) and each time they have been great. Thanks Joe and team! You rock!
Delighted with the service
I recently bought a SuperSoco CUx from Urban eBikes and was delighted with the customer service. I was in the middle of moving house and they dealt with my change of adress mid-purchase with no problems. I found it easy to get through to customer service and they gave me lots of good advice and support throughout the process. Would recommend them
They are no more than a scam
They are no more than a scam. They sold me a new NIU that hasn't work 2 out of the 6 months I have had it.
They have refused to fix it let me trying to deal with this myself.
I have asked for a return but I have been waiting for months. I will engage with some legal expert as they seem only to understand legal actions. Stay away they are a cancer ... no cure exist

A terrible company to deal with. After 16 months of issue after issue with an electric moped they supplied they finally sent me a refund form. Completed it a month ago and….. nothing! No communication no calls replied to…. Four times this week I’ve called and NOTHING!!! Happy to take the money but appalling service.

After purchasing SuperSoco online, no response and no communication. Bike never delivered and had to go through long process with bank to get refund. Not a good experience at all.

I was kept up to date on everything, and my bike was delivered very quickly and with due care and attention, the delivery driver went through the controls of the bike before he left.

I purchased a Stromer St2 at a very competitive price through Joe from the sales team down at Rye. He was very good in letting me test ride the bike beforehand. I already knew what I wanted so the sale and delivery was quick and efficient thanks to Joe. He was quick to respond to any Emails and calls. Great customer service Joe.
Joe is an asset to the company, however there are pitfalls with Urban Ebikes.
Due to Urban Ebikes selling a plethora of electric bikes, it was possibly unrealistic of me to expect them to have specialist knowledge on these very Niche machines, however where Joe was unsure of something, he did his best to find out.
Prior to the delivery, I was made aware that Stromer had released a performance pack update for the bike. Unfortunately Urban Ebikes stated that they would not order the parts, unless the defect which the update was designed to rectify, manifested. After a quick ride on the new bike, the rear brake squealed (the performance pack was a damper behind the rotor to stop this from happening).
I'm also not keen on having to pay the fee for my bike to be collected for servicing. I now deal with Forwards Electric in Southampton, who ordered and fitted the performance pack without hesitation. He seems to have a very extensive knowledge on Stromer. I have transferred my warranty to them.
In summary, Urban Ebikes can be considered the supermarket equivalent for Ebikes which reflects in their pricing. I was able to get a Stromer far cheaper than elsewhere. However the trade off is that because of their large range of stock they will not have the in depth knowledge a Stromer exclusive shop will have.
No customer service
Good product, but non-existent customer service. Emails aren't responded to, and any attempt to access a customer service portal on their website is met with an error or a blank page. You might be able to get through to their customer service team using the phone, but the best you can hope for is a false promise that they'll return your call.

I recently purchased a Govec Go…
I recently purchased a Govec Go electric cargo/delivery motorcycle. From Urban e-bikes, I have never owned any moped/motorcycles before but I am mightily impressed with how this machine pulls me (a 15 stone bloke) up steep hills and depending on steepness of hills (I live on exmoor) it has got me a round trip of 47miles with 11% battery left at the end. All in all if you want a 30mph bike that you can drive on your car licence (Pre 2001 pass) and your traveling less than 40/50 miles a day, this is a great choice (especially for the price) 😂

I wanted an electric motorbike and after looking around online for the bike I wanted I found Urban eBikes was my nearest dealer.
I got in contact, Joe (sales) was very helpful and invited me for a test ride.
I was impressed with the bike and placed an order and it arrived within a couple of weeks.
The bike had a small issue in that there was condensation in the speedo. I contacted Urban eBikes and they immediately ordered a new speedo, picked up the bike and returned it very promptly.
I've found the staff very friendly and helpful.

Terrible Customer and Technical Service
UPDATE: Its been now over 6 months since my motorcycle was picked up by Urban Ebikes and they refuse to return it to me. They have stopped all communication. Its Managing Director Paul Keppler doesn’t care at all about its customers. I’ll now have to take this to court in order to recover my motorcycle. You should avoid this company at all costs.
I purchased my NIU electric scooter for them in 2019 and since then it has had engine and battery problems which have not been fixed by Urban eBikes. As other have already mentioned, their aftersales service is non-existent. They won't reply to your calls or emails. Repairs to the motorcycle take months and they simply don't care about their customers. They refuse to repair the bike for an issue that was brought up during the warranty period. I recommend to avoid them.
