This is a scam, as a licensed professional I listened for a while and pulled them up on BBB, their grade was F, scammers, when ask for my SS# I terminated the call. These people are one stop below magazine crews.

just got a call from a south Florida number. saying that they see i used to be a medic. thought it was strange since i haven't practiced on that license in about 5 years. tried to tell me i get grandfathered into the benefits. they claimed they sent me mail and never heard from me. ( they had an extremely old address on file). once i started asking questions such as what is the name of your company and website information, i noticed the sales rep on the other side of the phone would repeat my questions back to me to by herself some time to rebuttal me. she sounded shaky and sketchy as if she had no clue how to answer very simple questions. once i got a website out of her, trust pilot popped up immediately and I scanned the reviews everyone left on here and it was very clear that this was a scam. unfortunately people take advantage of those who serve in the military or worked in public safety ( police, fire , ems) and its a shame. I hope when those reps lay down at night they lose sleep over what they are trying to do. and remember that next time they need police or medical to assist them. that they are screwing good people over.
I enrolled with this company for life and health insurance, and everything seemed promising. However, I never received any documentation, including the monthly premium. When I attempted to contact the company, I was unable to reach them. Upon cancelling, they insisted that I needed a signed document to terminate their services. All I did was cancel my checking account.Prolem solved
Stuff I hated there as an employee in the Orlando call center ..
- literally nothing in 1st fl breakroom, nasty coffee machines never cleaned, no utensils and had to eat with my hands 2 times I forgot utensils from home.
- Fridays is beer Friday, we get snacks and beers and sodas if the office sells a certain amount by lunch time...we eat and drink at desk yet they complained about eating a mandarin orange at my desk the next week
-managers say Stuff in the call center like "Talk louder" every few mins or that we are "Whispering" because we are not yelling on the calls...they literally want employees to daily loose their voice on a phone. They won't play back audio that proves you spoke just fine also..mind with over 50 employees on the phone you can barely hear yourself speaking anyway and are gonna speak loudly..but no..they want us to talk louder every 2 minutes
- managers are extremely unprofessional and curses up a storm in training, in meetings and have no decency or class
- managers yell all loud while we are on calls, the customer hears it and gets thrown off..it doesn't take all that to manage a call center..you dont need to yell "Let's work" as if we are not working. You don't need to be extra..the managers for an 8 hour shift are constantly yelling "Volume"....."It's too quiet in here"...."Let's get that volume up".."volumen"....and a slew of generic and incredibly cring- annoying stuff
- the office is very cold with A.C blasting on high
- the chairs are uncomfortable
- managers speak in your ear while you are on calls with their volume waaaay above the call ..consistently micro managing, trying to direct your sentence in real time and even will want you to say what you already said lol..no active listening makes it intrusive and annoying ..they will say talk faster..talk slower...I didn't ask for real time critique unless it's something im not trained on or qualified to answer..
-I dont need to smile to dial a phone or put on a chipper, high pitched giddy voice..I dont need to be told smile..maybe I dont want to smile and enjoy not smiling...its not the dentist, I dont need constantly to be told smile
-the job is not only toxic, draining, unprofessional, and one of the worst jobs in my life..managers are annoyed and Hr is annoyed you ask them to clarify anything..
-Hr literally ignores you..
Plus its a scam..we lie all across the employee phone scripts and here are the lies..
- we say we can't call them back..we can
- we lie about a make believe letter we sent in the mail a month to a month and a half ago
- we lie that we work with unions and associations to get the info of licensed professionals to sell them life insurance
- we lie if they refuse to give us a ss number that we will send a link that sends the social to the insurance provider directly..we literally then type it still.
- we also lie about not being able to re send those make believe letters in the mail..
- some ppl we call never had a license also so either they are lying or we are on the phones..
If a customer buys the life insurance we have no way of tracking it and have to just believe the managers who can easily pocket the money..
This is just the iceberg of lies and issues at this call center..
The training is very surface level..we literally dont understand the information about life insurance and read a script like robots on the crm...we have these generic responses to not reveal the truth and be shady on the phones also..the goal is to get a person's money on these calls...even the script we read itself is suspect
This company has a high turnover and low retention of their employees. If you have less than two sales, you are dismissed and no certainty of receiving your last check. It totally at their decretion. You will be severely micro-managed by the owners and management.
BEWARE. Don't trust this at all. Never heard of these benefits, Was told I could only sign up on this phone call and wouldn't be able to again. They sent a link to my phone and I clicked on it like a dummy because I thought it was taking me to the website. I hope they weren't able to access anything luckily all my stuff is minimal and pretty protected. I told Shannon straight up I thought it was a scam. Came from an Oak Lawn, IL number and the only reason I answered an unknown number was because I had just called my Dr. in Oak Lawn. Weird. BEWARE!
Terrible and they refuse to cancel policies that i called to cancel MONTHS ago. I am still receiving charges despite reaching out on the phone and emails. Now their phone systems direct you to a web portal, you cant even call to sort out the issues. Do not ever make the mistake of signing up for such a terrible insurance group. This is a SCAM and they are completely unhelpful. Poor business practice is an understatement.
This company treats our most special Americans and their families like garbage, You better honor you policy for Mr. Gilbert, "catasstrophy major medical plan" charged a man since 2001 and now will not pay, if you have this company you need to audit your policy and get some other company, they will be more deserving. These huys are crooks. Thank you Mitch, and Channel 9 News, Steve on your side, this is disgusting, and it's a slap in the face that the dollar amount stays the same after all of these years and yet they still will not pay that small amount. I hope this company loses their face
