They have been a great help at the major step in the AOS process. Been a great help post submitting the Documents as well. The best part is the much affordable price than going for an attorney.

USA Path made the AOS process very straightforward. Shashank was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions promptly, even during evenings and weekends - he's more responsive than my lawyer was! At first I was just going to use the questionnaire and evidence engine to prepare to complete all the forms myself, but once I saw how streamlined it was, I opted to pay to download and print the forms directly.

My company had a top 10 immigration law firm for my AOS process, but my lawyers were usually very delayed with their responses because they were busy with the H1-B season, and they didn't have a list of items for me to provide for AOS or a walkthrough of what to expect to get ready for the application.

I wanted to be well-prepared, so I started looking for a product/service that could guide me through the AOS application. I found USAPath on Reddit and completed my full application within ~90 minutes. I was impressed with how easy it was compared to Envoy. Despite Envoy having all my information through my previous applications, I had to painstakingly remove incorrect info and add net new info to Envoy for my AOS. It was a pain, and the info I entered for my I-130 wouldn't be reused on my I-485 in Envoy because they were all separate applications.

After the initial application process with USAPath, I never had to enter any new info. I knew exactly what I was missing and what I should expect to add to the application. I had a full checklist and a goal to work towards. I ended up paying for the USAPath application as a backup just in case I needed to file on my own and because I found their assistance in the application well worth it. They helped me fill in ~90 pages of forms perfectly, and if I made any changes in my material info, the I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765, I-864, & G-1145 were updated without any conflicts.

Once I got my initial draft of forms back from my lawyers, I was shocked at how bad they were. My lawyers had somewhere between 50-90 incorrect items on my forms. I wish I could post the slide deck showing these but there's too much PII on it. My citizenship, my spouse's birthday, our contact information, my parents' information, and material facts about my case were incorrectly filled in and represented on the forms. I ended up going through the forms one by one comparing the drafts to what USAPath generated. Thanks to USAPath's forms, I was able to pinpoint all inaccuracies that existed on the draft forms. My lawyers ended up apologizing for the mistakes and mentioned that an incorrect config on Envoy was to blame. I really don't blame them; it's impossible for any human being to correctly fill out >80-90 pages of forms and attach 200+ pages of related evidence and documents without any mistakes. You should avoid that entire process at all costs and just use USAPath. If you're using lawyers and especially company-hired lawyers that have to work on multiple cases at once, PLEASE use USAPath in tandem so you can review their work for your own peace of mind and so you can serve as a check & balance to your lawyer's work. No one will look at your application as carefully as you will.

It took another 2-3 revisions and weeks before I could feel good about the forms from the lawyers, and at one point, I even suggested that they use the forms I generated using USAPath. They refused, but because I had the "correct" forms to reference, I was able to catch mistakes in each of the revisions my lawyers produced right up until the final package.

Since this happened, I went to my HR & other colleagues to chat about what had happened jokingly. They pointed out multiple instances where the same thing had happened to them and their forms had been submitted.... One of my colleagues' H1-B application started to USCIS with "This application is for (Chinese First & Last Name), a Citizen of India"... I was floored; we had a laugh about it as thankfully nothing went wrong with his application. I met with a candidate I was interviewing, I was running late after a form review with my lawyers, and he asked who the law firm was. We had a small chat about his own experience, he specifically warned me to review the forms carefully as he also had issues with inaccuracies when he had used other company-hired lawyers. I'm genuinely confused by how bad of an experience people can have even after paying for expensive law firms.

It's seriously not worth it in any way to submit incorrect forms to USCIS. At best you're asking for an RFE and at worst probably an out and out denial. I'm not sure what would have happened in my case if I submitted my lawyer's first draft without careful review.

Seriously, USAPath is so easy, methodical, and specific that it's nearly impossible to mess up as long as you follow their steps. Don't even think about it twice; use USAPath with or without hiring external help.

The best method IMO would be to use USAPath then go to a self-paid lawyer with a prepared application package for a final review before submission. It'll avoid any of the headaches I or many others before me have experienced.

I loved that you can use the software completely free and it shows you your progress. You pay at the end or whenever you’re ready and they have the best pricing for this type of business. Using the chat feature was convenient in getting an answer almost in real time. I also appreciated Shashank reaching out and offering to do a review over the phone and point out any discrepancies with my answers on the forms. Everything is straight forward and easy to use. I used Usapath.com recently and was very pleasantly surprised at how fast I was able to finish my application. I had been in the process of preparing my packet (with a lawyer) who we let go because of how slow they were. I am very satisfied with the service I received. Our forms were filled out accurately and our packet including the evidence looked great. We didn’t use support and cant say anything about that but we used the FAQ’s. Will be back for ROC if they have that by then.
