Terrible Experience with Epic Pass Auto Renew
I am extremely disappointed with the Epic Pass auto-renew system.
• The auto-renew box was pre-checked by default when I purchased my pass, and I didn’t realize it at the time.
• I only received one reminder email on March 5th, and the opt-out deadline was April 6th — more than five months before the actual charge on September 10th.
• After the charge, I tried to contact customer service, but I received multiple refusals for a refund, even though I never actively agreed to renew.
• Worst of all, Epic Pass does not allow customers to delete their stored credit card from the system. They only allow replacing it with another, which means your payment data is held without real control or consent.
This is a classic example of unfair business practices and forced payments. Be very careful: once you are enrolled in auto-renew, it’s nearly impossible to cancel, and refunds are flat-out denied.
I strongly recommend future customers to read every detail carefully and think twice before purchasing.
