I have bought a van from VanWise and all went well until i have paid the full amount , just to inform me that rear camera does not work.
I have agreed with them to send out a mobile technician to sort out the camera following week.
Nearly 1 month went by and still not sorted.
In the month period also the battery of the van keep draining and have to use jump start.
I have been in touch with the after sales, but the gentleman is saying “bear with me, as i am very busy”.
This is the kind of service they are giving.
DO NOT BUY from them as they do not care about the customer.
I have sent a text to them saying that i will be sorting out the camera at my cost, and i will bill them £700 as this is what it costs to replace, only for the afrter sales lad to say i am threatening him and he is jot a main dealer.

Update in response to Vanwise reply 28.05.24. Thanks for your response Vanwise. My partner never agreed to purchase a van he hadn't even been to look. The costs borne are your mistake not his. What you still fail to explain is that the advert my partner called about was a brand new 2024 plate van and was pushed to pay a holding fee as that was the only he was able to view it after our holiday, but the video you sent some 5 days later was of a 2023 plate van, not what was advertised and therefore not what my partner was looking for. Why should he be pushed to buy something not correctly advertised and bear your costs incurred when you are trying to sell him a van that isn't what is advertised?? There will be no more updates Vanwise unless its to say you did the right thing and legally returned all his money to him. Legal action is being taken as enough is enough.
EXTREME CAUTION WHEN DEALING WITH VANWISE & PARTING WITH ANY MONEY OVER THE PHONE! At the end of April, my partner enquired about a new Ford Courier 2024 van advertised on eBay by Vanwise. He was informed he needed to pay a £500 holding fee in order to just view the van as it was in off-site storage which he reluctantly agreed as it was a lot of money. Little did he know until after he had paid this that their website advertised a £99 full refundable reservation fee. A few days later, he received a video of the van, but it had Irish number plates (CMZ 8045), strange as it was advertised as a brand new 2024 plate van?? The DVLA showed it as registered in Nov 2023, with logbook updated in April 2024?? Vanwise then sent him a proforma invoice for more than the advertised price. They advised the increase was the price if you didn't take their finance out, nothing stated this in the advert on eBay. He decided not to view the van on his return from our holiday and requested a refund due to these inconsistencies, he also asked why he was asked to pay £500 when their website stated £99 - he did not get an answer to that question. Vanwise refused to refund his money, citing various contradictory reasons, loss in value, transport costs and advised they had already transferred the logbook into his name without even his consent - what van dealer does that when a customer hasn't even been to look at a vehicle nor agreed to purchase it! Despite offering a reduced price which he declined, then offered a partial refund transferring the rest onto another van which he declined again (he wouldn't buy a pen from them now) as he had lost trust in them plus under the Consumer Regulations Act they are legally obliged to return his monies as this was all dealt with over the phone and not at their premises. They continued to advertise the van at the original price (although with correct year now) with 'drive away today' splashed all over it so what value to the van have you lost Vanwise?? They refuse to return all of his money even though they were trying to sell him a van that isn't what was as originally advertised. C'mon Vanwise own up to your mistake and do what you preach about your impeccable customer service on your website, you cannot be seen to pressure a customer into buying a van that isn't what you are advertising originally and therefore not what the customer is wanting! Their unethical practices contradict their Motor Ombudsman membership and Trading Standards and his is now taking legal action. Dealers should not be seen to get away with things like this. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Tia,Darren, infant,Jacob,absolutely fantastic, smooth easy transition, took me to train station in Epping on Saturday after dropping my van off,spent the weekend in London, picked me up again from Epping brought me back to Harlow drove my dfsk ec35 from Harlow back to Nottingham, absolutely fantastic, need to tell customers how heater works on these vans, as was freezing coming back, but have now worked it out thanks once again

I was a bit nervous about buying an out of area car I had only seen on video... But Kelly and Irfan were helpful and car is everything I was hoping for. There were a couple of very minor grazes to the upholstery internally, but otherwise A1 condition. I did contact them on multiple occasions before confirming the sale with lots of questions which they were patient in answering. There was good follow-up communication to make sure I was happy with everything and rather embarrassingly, having made an overpayment in the balance transfer, they contacted me to point it out and arrange a refund - this did give me trust they were genuine and professional. It was a good price too. Thank you!
