Veezu is awful
Veezu is awful. It’s not a taxi service, they simply claim to administer local taxi. My first taxi was 30 mins late, and the second was a no-show. And Veezu took no response, just blaming the local taxi. Never use them….book a local taxi!
They always deduct 20% extra on top of the quoted price with no explanation.
I've used this company twice for bookings.
I went on the app I got the estimated price and scheduled the trip to the airport during the next day.
On both trips the we weren't late, there were no delays en-route and the journey happened early in the morning when the roads were clear.
A little bit later in the morning i got the bill which was made up of two parts. The fare that was estimated at the time of booking and then another item that added another 20% onto the cost without any explanation as to what it was.
I'm sorry, but WTF is this about? You estimate the price and the journey takes place without any sort of thing that would impact on the price and then they unilaterally bill you an extra 20% without any explanation.
Just not acceptable.

I had a really frustrating experience…
I had a really frustrating experience with the Veezu app. I booked a ride in advance for 10:30, expecting the driver to arrive on time. Instead, at the last minute, I received a message saying the car would only arrive at 10:50 — a full 20 minutes late.
What’s the point of booking ahead if the timing isn’t respected? This completely disrupted my plans and made me late. If you rely on punctual transport, this service is not dependable.
Very disappointing experience. I won’t be using Veezu again.

On Saturday 18th April 2026 I had to make a journey to see a consultant in London. I was very kindly given the opportunity to travel there in a taxi supplied by Veezu. My driver arrived at the arranged time of 7.30am, and introduced himself as Hari. He was an Asian gentleman who had lived here for the last 30 plus years, and he told me he came from the Punjab region of India. We chatted away with Hari telling me about his family and how much he loved being in the UK. On the journey back Hari very kindly offered me some of his lunch because he knew that I hadn't eaten, which I thought was extremely thoughtful and kind. If there were more people like Hari in the world today it would be a much nicer place. I was even introduced to some of his music on the way back, and found myself bopping along to bangra music. Thank you Hari for a very safe and professional experience taking me all the way to Kensington and back to the Midlands . Your company have an extremely good employee in yourself. Thanks again. 🤓👍

Inside of few days I was overcharged by £4.10 Very rude telephonist insisted I had been dropped off at the Dorcan Way Eastcott vets...but I was at BATH ROAD Swindon. The driver knew I was being overcharged but did nothing. Then Friday I actually went with my little dog for emergency operation to save his sight. 7.30am driver wasn't going to take me because telephonist DIDNT tell him I had my dog. Then from 3.30pm onwards all hell was let loose. The telephonists kept send taxi to Bath Road instead of the hospital off Dorcan Way - opposite Morrissons. I kept calling over and over but they kept insisting I was at BATH ROAD!!! The call centre is in Wales...the telephonists haven't a clue where any addresses are but the ignorantly disregard the client. After an hout of waiting - re booking i asked for help Megan a lovely young lady Receptionist bookef on her account and even paid ride! I was in tears by thrn ...Im over 80 and Disabled. I couldnt hold my suck dig on me any longet...Most of their taxis are filthy inside and out. Drivers stink of body odour and halitosis...they play loud music...its astonishing theyre still in business
I have raised thus fiasco with them by email...failure to respond, apologise and compensation will result in official complaint to the council and going public

Bad attitudes driver
I would have given 0 star if I could. Never came across a driver with such bad attitudes and rude. He wanted to charged us extra £5 to go to the airport. Surely the booking says airport before he accepting it.
And he refused to drop us off to a new destination. When we asked why he refused our new destination, he started to shouted at us saying why are we arguing with him!!?? He just refused to drop us off to a new destination of course we wanted to know why??
In order for us to get to the airport without delay, we gave in and said will pay him cash when we arrive.
When we pay him the £5, for whatever reasons he said its OK. Its already been charged. So all the arguments and shouting are unnecessary and could have been avoided. It was our first time using veezu but it will also be our last!

Ordered a taxi at 14.40pm. in the center of Derby. Taxi arrived at 16.26pm.
Told we were a priority. Shocking service. Luckily did not wait for the taxi. Contacted another company. Taxi arrived 8 minutes later.
Will never bother contacting this company again.

Struggled to book Veezu Norwich as telephonist obv had English as a second language, Taxi never arrived, despite fact we were on pavement 10 minutes early. Phoned Veezu and again experienced language difficulty, handler claimed taxi arrived and we were not there ( untrue ), and rebooked. New driver said he had only got one address to deliver to, but we had booked two. When we politely pointed this out, he exploded in a rage, threatened to just dump us, but eventually agreed to go to two addresses for extra fee. Disgraceful service, never use this company.

had booked a taxi on the app 6 hrs ahead for a hair appointment. I called when the taxi wasn't there at my alloted time and they said the taxi was a few minutes away. I then called back 10 minutes later, they again assured me the taxi was almost there.
I then rang back a third time (at this point I was 30mins late for my appointment) and was told it would be there ASAP.... I said no i want to know if this taxi is coming or not I've got an appointment im already late for. Their response was 'well we haven't been able to allocate anyone yet. It's Eid and we are down on drivers' right, it's understand that Eid is a religious holiday and they wrre down drivers, but why continue to lie to me knowing I had an appointment? They could have said at the first phonecall that nobody was free and I could have made other arrangements.
I was charged half of what I was supposed to pay which was £150 for my missed appointment due to their lies. Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL

Rude staff when you try to complain about the service

My son who has learning difficulties is supposed to be collected from home and taken to college 3 days a week. The driver is 99% of the time late and after speaking to numerous drivers we have been told that and so who ever accepts it gets the job, regardless of a tender for the collection is put out in the morning what time my son needs collecting.
Do NOT use this company if you want a regular collection as they will let you down. Absolute disgraceful organisation.

Veezu are pretty reliable & fairly competitively priced but are impossible to contact via any method other than the app & phone & when I was offered a £5 reward for recommending another customer I was unable to use it as the code didn't work & I found it absolutely impossible to contact them to rectify the problem.

This disgraceful company doesn’t even deserve the 1 star. I used this company years ago and it has drastically gone down hill. Two of my experiences now have been bad, the drivers are rude and have horrible attitudes. Both times I haven’t had chance to put my seatbelt on before being sped off, one driver parked on double yellow lines and told me to hurry, he then rushed me out of the car in the middle of the road and I fell because of this, he didn’t bother to help me and refused to apologise. The other driver had an attitude problem and completely overcharged me, how can it cost different fairs to the same location? The prices are extortionate. Never using again.
