I had a pretty large varicose vein for around 26 years. After losing weight I decided to have the vein treated with laser ablation & foam
Sclerotherapy as was unsightly, uncomfortable & restricted what clothing I could wear. After a thorough consultation I had the treatment, It was relatively painless & I returned to normal activities straight away! Although I held off heavy exercise for a few weeks. At my follow up appointment, I was informed that the vein had been treated successfully, & had some residual blood aspirated to speed up healing. I still have several lumpy areas along the vein but am assured this will be absorbed in time. I am so happy with the results already & my leg feels & looks fabulous.

Felt so at ease from the beginning. After my first consultation to having my treatment I felt fully informed and felt completely confident.

From entering the building, the receptionist greeted me with warm professionalism. During the consultation and procedures, Dr Mark Regi and the nurses working with him, went out of their way to put me at ease. Patients are offered a lollipop by Dr Regi when recieving treatment. This might sound like something small but it was excellent for giving me something to focus on. The impact of my treatment has also been rapid. The pain from my vein went within two weeks of the initial procedure and the vein disappeared from sight within 8 weeks. I am delighted with my treatment from the VeinCentre and I would highly recommend them.

Mr Raj Nair was my consultant and I am very happy with the way he treated me and his warm and intelligent communication throughout the consultation, treatment and follow up appointments. The team are all lovely and helpful and easy to contact if you have questions. My legs feel lots more comfortable now and look lots better already - I wish I had this done sooner. Thanks to everyone at the Sheffield site for making me so comfortable.

My varicose veins were becoming more obvious & painful almost by the day, including cramp in my left calf while sleeping. The treatment at the Sheffield branch was first class from beginning to completion.

The lady on reception was so helpful and straight away put me at ease. My consultation was very informative and every thing was explained to me step by step.

Im so pleased with the results of my laser vein treatment. I had moderate varicose veins in both legs, although they weren’t particularly bad I was aware they were worsening. I did plenty of research around treatment options and pricing. For me, VeinCentre stood out above other treatment providers. After making the decision to have them treated I attended my first appointment and now around 12 weeks later my treatment is complete and my legs are almost fully healed. The whole process was straightforward and painless. My treatment was carried out in Sheffield, the surgeon was reassuring and extremely efficient, it really was a quick process. The biggest discomfort was wearing stockings for the week following treatment. As soon as I could remove the stockings I was able to wear shorts as the bruising was minimal. I wish I’d have had them done sooner.
