You have to find the right teachers but once you do, it's really a great site! I've been using Verbling for about 5 years now and I'm really happy and would recommend!

I paid for a service that did not get and now Verbling will not refund my money. Do not trust this service!

Absolute bad, when having a class sometimes they have the servers not working and saying it was working at the time and I had a class. I have tried using other types of devices the result was the same. Moreover they wouldn't give me a refund when I gave evidence of a screenshot. If it happens to you u know

Really disappointed and feeling let down by this site and it's teachers. The teachers don't seem to listen to you or your learning needs and once you pay for a block of lessons your money is gone, as no refunds even when teachers don't deliver what you paid for.

I reached out to Verbling Support with a question about my remaining lessons, and Julia responded promptly and clearly. She provided the exact link I needed and was very friendly in her message. Great customer service—thank you!

If you are try to learn Thai do not book a lesson with Nitidhorn(Palm) he a races, and he will steal your money also he will judge you from your profile picture and will not show up at all and will not contact you. Do not waste your money booking a lesson with him he unprofessional.

I booked a trial lesson with a teacher (Tania from South Africa) who didn’t show up for the online class. Her excuse was that she had power outages at her home.

I rescheduled the lesson with the same teacher, but once again she didn’t show up, this time claiming she had a technical issue with Verbling.

I then switched to a different teacher Mariana (Mexico), paying again for a trial lesson, and today once more the teacher didn’t show up at the scheduled time.

My feeling is that something is not right, and it’s not even easy to report the issue to Verbling.

Result: I’ve spent money and wasted two hours for nothing!

Expresso minha completa insatisfação com um problema ocorrido em minha aula agendada. No horário marcado, a professora estava online, porém, não iniciou a aula e tampouco respondeu à minha mensagem questionando se a aula aconteceria ou se deveria ser reagendada.

A ausência de qualquer resposta demonstra um claro descaso e falta de respeito com o aluno, que se organiza e dedica seu tempo para a aula. Além disso, o fato de este professor continuar ativo na plataforma levanta sérias dúvidas sobre o compromisso da empresa com a qualidade do serviço prestado. Ao permitir que comportamentos como esse permaneçam sem consequências, a impressão que fica é a de que o único interesse da empresa é arrecadar dinheiro dos alunos, sem garantir a devida prestação do serviço contratado.

Gostaria de obter o estorno no meu cartão, já que não tenho mais interesse nem mesmo em agendar com outro professor. Não tenho mais confiança na empresa.

Só dei 1 estrela, porque é obrigado, porque para mim não merece estrela nenhuma.

I used to be a member at their website, but no more. There were unfriendly teachers who did not answer to my first introduction, however friendly and courteous it was, and that was because of my nationality. Upon pretending to be someone else from another nationality/country, the very same teacher answered immediately and enthusiastically. These tutors on Verbling, who allow themselves to discriminate on the basis of what your nationality or race is, should be , at least, suspended for a while, warned, or reproved. That's what happens in another website I have become a member of, but not on Verbling, unfortunately. This unhappy experience happened more than two years ago, but I still feel stung.

Be cautious when buying bulk lessons from Verbling. If you decide to cancel after a couple of lessons (bad instructor), they charge you per lesson at the original price rather than the discounted bulk rate. You’re also not refunded for the remaining lessons. This feels misleading, as they advertise bulk lessons as a cheaper option but don’t honor that when you cancel. They essentially force you to continue or lose your money. I’d recommend using other platforms—Verbling just takes your money.

Update: I send them an email with that response they didnt answer. dont believe they act like they care on trustpilot. They simply show off here

Mi experiencia con Verbling ha sido estupenda. Ha estado casi dos años dando clases de inglés y no puedo estar más contenta.
La plataforma funciona muy bien, se pueden cambiar las clases con mucha facilidad y la profesora que tuve era maravillosa.
Además, al final necesité gestionar una situación un poco especial, ya que mi profe dejaba de dar clases, y escribí a atención al cliente y me lo solucionaron rápidamente.
Magnífica la atención de Julia en este tema: amable, profesional y muy resolutiva.
La verdad es que todo muy bien.

UPDATE:
The Verbling support contacted and informed me that my credits were reactivated for another 6 months. That's why I've updated my rating. I'd really appreciate if they actually improved the user informing and the notification system to avoid such surprises for future clients.

Horrible service experience for new customers.
When you sign up for their service and buy a bunch of credits (in my case 2.6k USD), they don't inform you explicitly that these credits expire, and do so pretty soon (in 6 months). To make things worse, they don't send you a kind email in advance or even after the fact when they robbed you of all your credits. Understandably, some credits expiry policy is required, but only with adequate communication to users like other language learning platforms do.

Julia dealt with the problem quickly, courteously and efficiently.

Verbling is an excellent site - I had a small problem, self inflicted, and they were so incredibly helpful. Resolved with no problems. I love the site. I am gaining fluency far faster than I thought I would and I love my teacher Elisa. Viva Italia!
