Wish I had checked reviews before buying my $1000 chair from them...Bought the Trigger 350 and it's been 3months since they've approved sending a replacement part but they don't provide updates without being prodded (sending facebook messages seems to be the only way to get a response) and like others have said, they just keep apologising for delays and stating they are working on it. I've had to buy a new chair and reading the other reviews it looks like i might as well junk my $1000 chair because they will not be replacing my part...

Bought it VERTAGEAR - S-Line SL2000 Gaming Chair - Black & Red 2018. 08/2021 Reclining angle mechanism is get broken. I was asking to buy new one, they send me one and I've paid 50 euro for that, but when received was wrong part. I contact them and they sad that my chair is under warranty and I should not paid for that and they will send replacement part and issue return label for wrong part sent. Since then more then a year , after multiple conversation online every time I was promised , that they will send . Nothing happened. Poor customer service, last contact with them was 2022-07-11 and even ignoring me.Really AVOID this retailer.

I do not understand the bad reviews, Vertagear has amazing quality chairs for a decent price and AMAZING customer service quality, The metal inside my chair broke almost 2 years after buying it and they sent me a free chair bottom to replace my broken one without any negotiation, ill continue buying from them
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
I purchased P-line PL4500 gaming chair in 2020, a year later one of the wheels broke and then the others started to become loose. I contacted their customer service who said they would send me out a new part. I still have not received this part and have been liaising with them for just over 1 year. They said there were delays with delivery but they have since stopped replying to my emails. This company is a fraud and I would not recommend them to anybody. Complete liars and waste of peoples time and money!!!!!

I cannot express how much I would urge everyone out there to not buy anything from this "Company". Vertagear have the worst customer service I have ever experienced, my chair broke after a year, raising an RMA was painful enough but not over a year later and I am still waiting for them to send the replacement parts!
They never update me anymore, I always have to contact them, their twitter blocked me and they are just truly awful. Please please please, do not use them.
RMA not completed
I logged an RMA more then 75 days ago (27th December 2021). Everything was fine but the replacement part is still not shipped and I get the same response everytime i follow up. "We apologize for the wait, I do not have an estimate of when your replacement part will be shipped.
The request was sent into our team to split new inventory, now we are just waiting for the department to ship out your part and provide tracking."

Wow. What an amazing chair! As someone who works from home and also enjoys playing PC games competitively hours on end, this chair is great. Has great ergonomic lumbar support that just feels comfortable. And the memory foam head cushion is my favourite part.. along side the overall looks of the chair! I’m a happy camper :)

Like many others claiming the chairs break in about 1 year and when you request a spare part or a new chair. They tell you they’re out of stock and keep you waiting.
I have been waiting 8 months now, and they constantly push the delivery for the spare parts.
I’m done with Vertagear and I will never recommend them to anyone.

Je leur ai fait leur travail en envoyat des mails avec toutes les preuves, factures et documents divers pour prouver mes dires et mon bon droit mais ils ne daignent pas me répondre.
La société Vertagear m'a purement et simplement volé 700 euros et me considère tellement peu qu'il ne me répondre même pas.
Je vais aller à la police porter plainte même si je sais que leurs juristes auront tôt fait de faire disparaitre en fumé tout cela.
Mon expérience avec cette pseudo société malhonnête est la plus mauvaise que j'ai pu vivre depuis que je commande sur internet (plus de 20 ans).

VERTAGEAR - shocking company
I bought a VERTAGEAR S-Line SL4000 Gaming Chair for my 11 year old son. Within 12 months, the seat base material was from the stitching.
I have spent the last 9 months requesting a replacement seat base and the warranty runs out in 3 months. They rarely respond.
Once they did, the excuse was staff busy, ill and they’re sorry.
All I want is a replacement before the warranty runs out. I really don’t know what next step to take!
I’m a genuine reviewer, and I concur with all those one star reviews.
I really believe those good reviews are fake and probably written by vertagear staff.
Choose a different brand and save yourself the pain!

You can safely consider this a scam site.
Their chairs are terrible.
Ergonomics wise you are better off standing on your knees on the floor.
Quality-wise? Unacceptable. After one year the back support and the head pillow will become unusable. It will also start to crack and make noise with every movement and it will also become really unstable
After two years every single seam of the base will start ripping apart.
Even if you for some reason you can find this chair comfortable you can forget about any kind of support. They usually ignore all the emails, calls, and messages and when you are able to reach them out will ignore any kind of legislation and avoid fulfilling their warranty obligations: if they keep responding at this point they will blame everything on "wear and tear".

Seems like a lot of issue from others that I had experienced with but they did come through as they had been disrupted with their Netherlands warehouse. They did follow up and ship the warranty part when their shipment arrived.
Criminal.
I purchase an SL-2000 in 2017 and within two years it had degraded completely. Splits in the fabric of the seat, faulty hydraulic system, armrests forming cracks, and worst of all the the metal frame itself collapsed. The metal bars forming the seat bent and broken. I am 70kg on a chair which advertised 150kg weight capacity.
However, the most shocking to me was what ensued - I am now locked in an endless vacuous email chain that has lasted 9 months. The fact is that they have absolutely no intention of honouring any warranty claims. They accepted mine and gave me my warranty number in July 2020 and since then they take 2-11 weeks to reply to emails, their phone number and any other form of contact simply doesn't exist or function.
I feel sick reading all the other similar experiences with Vertagear now - and it is painfully clear to me that they are a scam company. They sell cheap dangerously built products which eventually will all fall apart, and they attach warranty information to them as a lure and pretence of quality to customers, knowing full well that they will never even attempt to fulfill the "binding" agreement with the consumer.
My advice to the many others in this position - put all of your pressure on the shop you purchased your chair from. They are liable for advertising and selling you the product and they are in a better position to recover damages from Vertagear. Also this potentially could protect other vulnerable people by incentivising the outlet to cease business with a dishonest manufacturer.
Terrible Company
The only surprise I found when reading these reviews is that someone at Vertigear actually responded. Lying and deceptive responses, but replies all the same. As of March 2021, Vertigear has completely given up the pretense and stopped responding. The support line says they are "unable to take incoming calls." Live chat is "currently offline". Email is not returned. The support portal does not work.
Vertagear as a company is a joke. I looked them up on LinkedIn and it's actually a new company (est. 2015 ) with only 13 employees. How they sold so many chairs and have a contract with Alienware is beyond me. How they still have this contract is Alienware is unbelievable. After mine broke and trying support, it was clear they were going to do nothing so I took it apart and found the steel is cheap and the welding is terrible. Spot arcwelds (splatter everywhere) with little penetration. One intact weld I could pull apart with my hands. The fix? Do the welds yourself (or have a friend/pro do it) and brace it as needed with good steel or aluminum depending on what your chair is comprised of. Mine is better than new now.
Otherwise, it seems about all that can be done is to spread the word what kind of company Vertigear is.

Worst Support ever
I'm done with this company. I purchsed a Trigger 350SE mid 2019, then the gas piston broke already january 2021. They pretend to give a 10 year warranty on their Products, so I contacted their service. The initial reaction was quick, they requested fotos / videos of the damage. But after that, nothing happened. More than 4 weeks after opening the support ticket, I had to threaten to give the case to an attorney at law, they would then send me a replacement - without any instructions. Unfortunately, I was not able to repair the damage with the replacement sent what I did claim immediately. Guess what? They never answered... Now two full months have passed with me having a broken chair, that can't be used. I'm done. Vertagear, shame on you!

Much the same as alot of the other comments here, Sl5000 chair broken frame, contacted support sorted the RMA out in Nov 20 and since then I have web chatted, emailed and just keep getting excuses. A complete waste of time. I would certainly not recommend dealing with this company. I would of got a better service and product off Wish!
