One week after having my van replaced my new one is back in the workshop for repairs and software updates which should have been carried out when the new van was pdi from new
Also the General Manger Bob Grant does not ring you back I have lost so much money by not having my materials and tools to carry out my work due to my van being at Vertu Motors Gloucester
I would not recommend anybody to buy a vehicle from Vertu Motors Gloucester

Terrible company
They dropped off my new vehicle in the dark with no fuel
It smells of oil and brakes are failing
No paperwork and dirty vehicle dropped off

They refuse to give me my old vehicle back the very next day and threatened to call the police
Avoid this company this will be posted on social media and to trading standards

From the moment I called up to ask about the cost of a repair after being hit by another driver, Shane Witts of Vertu, was outstandingly helpful. From his gentle suggestion that if the driver of the vehicle who hit me, (who wanted to deal with repair independently of insurance) suddenly disappeared, he would be there to take me through the process of having my car repaired through claiming on that driver's insurance. He explained that all this would be handled by Vertu and I would be given a hire car at no extra cost to myself. He was correct and the driver did 'disappear' but Shane and his team sorted everything for me. I felt looked after and was kept in the loop at all times, I found the whole process almost enjoyable! Thank you Shane you were an absolute star!

Steve made the entire process very easy and enjoyable. All the options available about purchasing the car were explained e.g. warranty, protection in a very informative non pushy way. Paid deposit on Friday, picked car up on the Monday. Highly recommended

We visited another Ford garage as the Gloucester branch isn't open on a Sunday. We then went to our local Gloucester branch the following day and were welcomed by Alona, who listened to our enquiry and helped us with our query and checked stock availability. We were so impressed and happy with the service that when she passed us over to Louis we purchased our new car through them which we will be collecting in December. Nothing seemed to much trouble and we would deffo recommend.

I brought my car into Bristol Road Ford (Vertu) with an MOT wiring fault meaning the washers did not work. You charged me over £100 for diagnostics and told me that you recommended a new fuse box, cost £900, without any evidence of the corrosion you claimed existed. I was presented with an ultimatum that if I wanted to take the car away and think about the recommendation it could be weeks before the car could be seen again. This I regard as sharp practice as it pressurises people to accept expensive, and it turns out unnecessary work on their vehicle.

Instead of this, I took my car to a small independent garage and they sorted the problem for about £100 by replacing the wiring for the washer.

I therefore conclude that if you do not have a warranty Vertu are very poor value, and should be avoided. If you have a warranty you should be aware that Vertu will use dirty tricks to get you to agree to unnecessary expensive work. Either way I suggest you avoid using them.

I recently purchased a used car from Vertu Motors Gloucester and have had an excellent experience from start to finish. The Sales Executive Mo was a pleasure to deal with and kept me fully up to date with progress. We had a delay with my part exchange due to organising the removal of my tow bar and this was treated with fairness by the team. On collection the car was lovely and clean and a small repair job carried out to a high standard.
