Avoid this company at all costs
Avoid this company at all costs. Their Frontline products are counterfeit. I had purchased products from this company and knew straight away the product was fake from the packaging to the strong chemical smell from the liquid.
I contacted Frontline directly who confirmed the product was counterfeit.
I then reported the company to Government Veterinary Medicinal Products who confirmed they have been receiving multiple complaints regarding this company.
This stuff DOES NOT WORK
This stuff DOES NOT WORK. I have been using flea medication on my pets for many years. Up until now I have always gotten it from the vet but in this case I thought I’d try frontline as the staff at Pets at Home assured me it was effective.
Anyway after using it on both my dogs and my cat for a couple of months, and after taking all other necessary steps such as washing and spraying soft furnishings, I’m still seeing fleas on my animals. I never had this trouble when using the vet prescribed stuff.
I raised my concerns with the Pets at Home ‘medical team’ and they just turned it round back at me saying I must not have used product correctly.
Cpunterfeit products?
After purchasing believing it was a genuine sale, I checked the reviews, everything that the customer reviews say is totally correct.
I contacted Frontline , they have legal issues with vetcertif , for selling counterfeit products
Please buy from an authorised Frontline seller , for the safety of our pets,
Kim
They are selling counterfeit Frontline…
They are selling counterfeit Frontline Plus products. I sent all images, batch numbers, photos etc to the manufacturer Boehringer Ingelheim and they confirmed that the ones I bought from Vetcertif.com were counterfeit. I logged my claim with PayPal 1st January 26 and finally got my refund on the 28th. Of course Vetcertif.com were adamant that their products were genuine and sent me a load of BS via email on how their products are checked etc. I alerted the VMD, PayPal, Amazon (as Vetcertif.com said they bought the products from them), Trading Standards and Action Fraud. Action Fraud weren't interested.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
If I still wish to proceed with a return, I may send the items to your warehouse at my own expense:
LYTE LIMITED – PL Warehouse

Jokes on you, I will correct you on this as your Terms & Conditions actually stipulate to send returns to:
Return Addresses:
Returns must be sent to the appropriate
warehouse location based on the
original shipping destination:

Considering you only ship from 2 address, either 1 in the UK and 1 in the USA, I am perplexed as to where an address in Poland comes from!?
'Vetcertif is not a dropshipping business. We manage order fulfilment directly from our own warehouse locations:

Missing order and kicked into the long grass
Ordered Frontline Plus 6 pack for cats on 21 December 2025. Vetcertif chose to use Yodel as their courier. Not only is the package lost, but Yodel won’t declare it as such, just ‘investigations inconclusive’ Vetcertif will not accept their responsibility as the supplier, who failed to supply and have refused a refund or replacement. I’m no longer interested in a replacement having purchased elsewhere, and now moved abroad. No I don’t want a shipment of drugs sent to me abroad ffs. Requested a refund but repeatedly fobbed off and refused by an elite team of ‘Customer Service’ ‘advisors’ Reported to Trading Standards and will post my full experience on social media. My opinion is for customers to AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, unless you thrive on stress.

Frontline + for dogs
Beware.
Unfortunately I did not read trustpilot reviews before purchasing a fake product.
Pretty sure these are not genuine…
Pretty sure these are not genuine products. Ordered frontline for cats and dogs, outside packaging looked genuine until trying to open product. Impossible to peel away backing, hard to cut away even with a knife. No smell to product as there is usually either. Worst, repeated treatment does not kill any fleas. Will not purchase from this company again.
Vetcertif Frontline Plus
Following a purchase of Frontline Plus from Vetcertif, I posted a brief, but true and accurate 19 word review of my experience.
Trustpilot then contacted me with the following message:-
“Please consider editing or removing the following statement(s) from your review within 3 days by logging into your profile using this link:
COUNTERFEIT FRONTLINE
Vetcertif sold counterfeit Frontline Plu [sic]
made my dog very sick.
If your review isn't updated within 3 days, then we'll unfortunately have to take it offline.”
Trustpilot has now removed my review and it appears that it would be defamatory leave an accurate review about the Frontline Plus sold to me by Vetcertif, or the adverse effect it had on my dog. I can only hope that the following words from the Frontline manufacturer, Boehringer Ingelheim are considered non-defamatory and will help guide other pet owners.
“Thank you for providing us with the requested information.
Following a thorough review by our Product Quality Team, we can confirm that the product you purchased is counterfeit. We understand how upsetting and frustrating this must be - especially when your pet’s health and wellbeing are involved. Please know that we take these matters very seriously and we encourage you to report that the product is counterfeit to the retailer.
You can also report counterfeit veterinary medicines to the VMD via their webform or by calling 01932 338338. Additionally, we recommend reporting the incident to Action Fraud (link removed).
The illegal trade of counterfeit products is a concern spanning numerous sectors, including pet medicines. Individuals and entities involved in these criminal activities typically target popular products (such as FRONTLINE® products) to produce counterfeit versions. To ensure product authenticity and your pet’s safety, we strongly recommend purchasing only from trusted retailers or resellers. You can find a list of our approved partners and tips on spotting counterfeit products at: (Frontline/where to buy link removed). When buying from online marketplaces, we recommend customers check who the product is sold by and fulfilled by.
Please be assured Boehringer Ingelheim is working with online marketplaces and the relevant authorities, including the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD), to prevent falsified product being sold to customers.
Kind regards,
The FRONTLINE® Support Team”
Update.
11/01/26 - I received the following from Trustpilot.
“You’ve written a review for Vetcertif, and they’ve asked for more details to better understand your experience. If you provide some extra information within 3 days, it’ll help them recognize your experience and respond. If we don’t hear from you, the company may not be able to recognize your review as genuine.”
Following advice from Boehringer Ingelheim (see above), my experience was forwarded to the Veterinary Medicines Directorate and Action Fraud ( reportfraud police uk).
I am unable to enter into further communication while these organisations are investigating.
I ordered Yumove that arrived soft
I ordered Yumove that arrived soft. I'm unsure if it is a genuine product. I was sent a replacement and had the same problem. To receive a refund I had to return, costing over £13 as it was returned to Iceland!! I was refunded the price of the product minus £10 for original postage and my £13 to return it!! So Im £23 out of pocket and no Yumove!!
Counterfeit items Received This product…
Counterfeit items Received This product just doesn't seem to work, which is incredibly disappointing with the expense and lengths you have to go to with ensuring best application and treating the home. It has failed to work at all on the few occasions I have bought from here.
I bought frontline plus from this…
I bought frontline plus from this company and from day one said it was not the real item! Frontline plus works within minutes this stuff is useless!!!!😡😡😡
Counterfeit items Received from Vetcertif
Received confirmation from the manufacturer of Frontline Plus for Dogs that the items I received were counterfeit and should not be used.
I contacted them as read so many bad reviews and unfortunately they confirmed that this product was not genuine.
BE CAREFUL
Vetcertif scammers
Vetcertif, ordered frontline tick and flea treatment in may, waited 2 weeks no items received, emailed them about non receipt of goods, told in post, would give me 1 year VIP treatment. I told them no I want a refund, it's now July and still no refund after several emails they have told me that is the end and they will not answer anymore emails. End Result don't touch this company with a barge pole.
It's a SCAM.
I Will Never Use Vetcertif Again
I spent over £100 on frontline for cats. I received a product where the foil did not peal off as normal, the pipets did not snap open and it smelt of petrol. I've used Frontline for many years and could tell it was different. I contacted Boehringer Ingelheim (the manufacturer) directly who have looked at photos and serial numbers and informed me that this was a counterfeit product. Vetcertif continue to state it is a genuine product and have declined any refund. They have provided no proof that it is genuine. As per Boehringer Ingelheim's advice I have reported this to the governments Vetinary Medication Department. I am out of pocket but very glad that I didn't put it on my cats and put them at risk.
The product and packaging are not what one would expect
Firstly it didn't arrive for 2 weeks and I got no response to my emails.
Then when it did arrive it seems to fulfil these criteria:
"Urgent warning to pet owners as toxic chemicals found in fake flea treatments - GOV.UK"
Google it..
The packaging is different - almost impossible to open the blister pack, different materials - and the product smells nothing like I expected . I have been using Frontline Plus for Cats for more than ten years and I know the smell. This smells like solvent. I had to wash my cat immediately as it obviously stung her
I have contacted the manufacturer of the genuine product and will be liaising with them to get confirmation
Note that other people who have said this exact same thing have been threatened with legal action. That is not a very good response.
Also note that I have had to carefully reword this review after it was reported as being potentially yrotamafde
Edit: I now have formal confirmation from the manufacturer that this is not genuine product. Happy to share it with anyone interested. I have sent it to Vetcerif and to my local trading standards who are taking it further
"Thank you for your further email and images you provided.
Following a review of the images you provided, from our product quality team, we can confirm that this product is counterfeit and we encourage you to report this to the seller.
"To safeguard the integrity of our products, when a case is brought to our attention, we work with approved online retailers and the relevant authorities, including the Veterinary Medicines Directorate, to help ensure that no falsified product is supplied to customers and counterfeit listings are removed. We also recommend reporting counterfeit veterinary medicines to the VMD via their webform or by calling 01932 338338 and reporting such cases .actionfraud.police.uk.

THIS IS A SCAM!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! You will end up unwell with stress!! I ordered Frontline plus for Dogs in June, after 3 weeks it had not arrived. After chasing the order multiple times, it finally arrived and was the totally incorrect item (Frontline for cats). I emailed to let them know, only to be told I had to pay postage to send it back (even though it was their mistake!). Vetcertif spent weeks trying to avoid refunding my money, telling me to keep the wrong item (which is no good to me), and offering me a discount if I order the item again that I had already paid for in full! After many weeks of frustratingly begging for my money back, and threatening to report them for fraud, I finally received an email saying they would refund my money. After 8 days I have still not received my money back, so I chased them again! I received another email this morning saying they are only going to refund a proportion of my original payment! I am so angry, dealing with these unscrupulous people has been so upsetting, the anger and frustration at trying to get my money back, has really taken a toll. This company is clearly not legitimate and is run by crooks. I have given up on ever receiving my money back, or the correct item, and I after I have finished writing this review, I am contacting my banks fraud department to report them.
BEWARE OF ONLINE COMPANIES LIKE THIS, THEY ARE NOT REGULATED, AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT AGAIN (OR THE ITEM YOU ORDERED!).
No contact available
They said things that weren't true. I have ordered this product many times before without any problem. Verticef was the problem as I was unable to track my delivery and I had paid a week before I finally got it.
