Traveling the odyssey of love with Vida
Shyne and her team offer me wonderful guidance and encouragement in my path toward finding true love. In particular, Shyne and I have an excellent relationship in reaching this goal of finding that special woman for me. Shyne is friendly and insightful in her communication with me. Her team, moreover, is excellent in their initial messages to interesting ladies and follow-up remarks. I highly recommend Vida to anyone in search of a matchmaker that will do their best job at finding that special someone.

Simmy made my experience wonderful
Simmy made my experience wonderful. She is very responsive and provides great guidance. The set-up process did take longer than expected and there were some difficulties in setting up the dating apps but Simmy was always there to provide assistance. I have met someone and am happy with my experience!

Great experience!
Once we got going, I had 5 dates in one weekend and one of them I am still dating and falling in love with. Francesca was responsive and helpful and the conversations online they had with potential dates on my behalf were really well done. What a time saver! So glad I did this.

The Vida process was terrific and made working my way through dating apps so much easier. While I haven’t met my mate, the way Vida builds profiles and then manages them has made my life so much easier. It reduces all the noise and frustration with the dating apps. I also learned from them how to approach these apps so that I feel more comfortable doing this on my own. That said, I would definitely use them again.

I was pleased by the service
I was pleased by the service offered. My matchmaker Grace in particular was very thoughtful and helpful throughout the process. My only complaint was that the setup takes a bit longer than I expected. It will take a few weeks before the dates get started, but after that, the service does its job.

My experience
Unfortunately my initial matchmaker who I spent the 90 minute session with getting to know me had a family emergency and I was assigned Nabeelah after I reached out since I hadn’t heard anything for a little while.
Nabeelah was great. My concerns come with the writers who send and answer messages. I’ve breakers were sent before my approval and responses were lacking. Less than the 2 times a day that was suggested. I also found that if a man wanted to converse more no effort was made to say something like I am on my way out but can message tomorrow or something to that effect. I wrote to Nabeelah and was very concerned that I was coming across as quite rude. She heard me and I did see some change afterwards. I would say overall a little disappointed in how it actually works versus how I was told it would work. Expectations are everything. I am actually going to say 3.5 stars but that is not a choice.
Nabeelah was available and did respond to my concerns and questions quickly and made changes where necessary. The profiles were very good!! My concerns were not with Nabeelah but in the writers and overall process

I’d like to address your concerns with the writing aspect of our service, and to thank you for taking time to share your feedback and highlight areas where you feel your experience could have been improved.
I can see that some challenges such as premature icebreakers and later messaging delays arose from your preference to pre-approve every new match before messaging.
While we're happy to accommodate such preferences, it's less common among our clients and can introduce complexities, especially on platforms with response time limits like Bumble where we could potentially lose matches if we don’t send an icebreaker within a certain timeframe.
After you expressed your concerns about that as well as worrying that in some instances you were “coming across as quite rude”, we adjusted our messaging approach to better align with your preferences.
During the beginning stages of our service, there’s a learning curve as we familiarize ourselves with your criteria and the voice you wish to be represented with. Your feedback during this period is crucial, and I was happy to see that we were able to incorporate it and course-correct.
We take your feedback seriously and are committed to making continuous improvements. We hope things work out with the match we found and you don’t need us again, but please reach out if you have any questions or would like to resume service!
Good Experience
I had a good experience overall with Vida Select. I experienced some hiccups with my first matchmaker, but Rosalia from Client Services was very helpful. She was patient, allowed me to voice all of my concerns, and very responsive. I was transferred to a different matchmaker Nordika who was great to work with. She is quick to respond/communicate and provided me with her advise/tips while still respecting my wishes even if that meant deviating from her suggestions. The visual brand team and writers crafted a profile that I am very happy with and were very quick to accommodate my edit requests. I paused my service to further explore some candidates that they found, but would work with Vida Select again.

It wasn't clear when I signed on with…
It wasn't clear when I signed on with the salesperson that a matchmaker was going to pretend to be me to potential dates on well known sites. I'm sure fine by most but this makes me uncomfortable. But by the time I put the pieces together, my money was handed over. I'm using them for profile building though since the people are so nice.
