Vijay tutored both of my daughters ahead of their IGCSE exams, despite the six-year exam gap between them. He started just a few months before the exams, and the results were fantastic , both girls scored 8 out of 9. They found his teaching genuinely fun and inspiring, which made all the difference to their confidence going into the exams. I can't thank him enough. Highly recommended!

Vijay was helping my daughter in Maths GCSE and she had achieved a Grade 7 when the prediction was a 6.

When Vijay first started supporting my daughter in late 2025 she was working at a grade 5/6. She really lacked confidence in her ability but Vijay changed that with his patience and thorough way of explaining tricky concepts. This transformed her confidence and my daughter began to trust in her ability. Thanks to Vijay’s structured teaching approach and support, my daughter achieved a fantastic grade 7 in her GCSEs, missing out on an 8 by just a few marks. Vijay is not just an outstanding tutor who knows the syllabus inside out; he is also a genuinely kind, encouraging, and a reliable person, going extra mile to support my daughter, especially with his thoughtful pre-exam good luck card. I can recommend Vijay and plan to use him for my 2 other children as they approach their GCSE maths in the future.

Vijay is a fantastic teacher. Always extremely well prepared, his experience and knowledge is such that he can teach the student various ways of approaching a topic so that they truly understand it. He has helped my children with GCSE maths/ further maths (where they each gained grade 9s in both first time) and I am confident he can support through a level maths too given his qualifications and experience. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Vijay was a great maths tutor for Y13 A level maths. He was efficient and to-the-point; had a wide knowledge of examination questions and was very good at explaining both the underlying maths and the various types of exam questions. Great tips on examination technique. Easy to work with him using the Pen Tablet.

Excellent tutor. Highly recommend. Extremely competent, professional and able to teach efficiently by identifying a student's weakness very quickly. In the end of Year 9 exams to the end of Year 10 exams my son went from c. 60% to over 90%.
Year 10 is first year of GCSEs. While my son is an extremely competent student, at a highly rated school, he has found that the pace can be fast in class and small important understandings are missed. Therefore, Vijay is able to fill in the gaps, consolidate the class learning as well as advance forward in the syllabus. He has a great deal of teaching material and exam questions to practise. Vijay is an extremely supportive resource and should my son decide to take A level Maths then it is on the basis that he would have Vijay to steer him to success.

Vijay tutored my son for the final 5 months leading up to his Edexcel Maths GCSE exams. The improvement was huge - Vijay really helped my son with areas of Maths with which he had struggled for a long time and perhaps most importantly gave him the confidence that he’d been lacking in the subject. I would wholeheartedly recommend Vijay as a Maths tutor and in fact hope he can help my daughter in the future.

Vijay has been a simply excellent tutor for our son as he prepared for his A Level Maths exam in June 2023. Vijay recognised his potential from the start and with his through teaching methods provided a range of exam questions working through answers at each lesson.
